I've gotten 4 (soon to be 6) tattoos here by Gyllian and I absolutely love coming here. She's so talented and always makes my visions come to life exactly how I picture them. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I go there solely for piercings as of right now, so I have no comment on tattoos (they do look very nice however ^^ ) but the piercings are AMAZINGLY done. The piercer Cait is not only amazing at their job, but also is a joy to be pierced by. They are extremely nice, funny and understanding as well as gentle with the piercing. They really care a whole lot about how they pierce you, make sure you're alright all while joking and laughing along with you. badddd customer service and shane has a really bad attitude! stopped in to inquire about a piercing and i asked did they except zelle or cash app and his ignorant ass literally hit the counter and said it says right here we only except these payments! we said a few words back and forth and i walked out-he followed me out and threatened me!!! he has the same attitude in real life he had in the show!! he will never be in anthony and dj level-he's an ignorant ass c class tattooer!!! needs a 0 star!! read more

Shane, Steve, Eric, Tim...great guys...wonderful service. I've read the negative reviews and you have to go in and see them for yourself. Excellent service. Now here is what I have to say when people complain about the wait and the time to get an appointment. Let's say you had a car and wanted one of the best people in several hundred miles to paint it. You cannot walk into an exclusive paint shop and say..."I need my car painted on Saturday" and expect it to get done. Yes if you went to a mediocre paint shop, they may say leave it, we will get to it....then you'll be frustrated when Saturday gets there that it's not done...or done poorly. Think about it, very few places with quality service will you walk in and get serviced on the spot. That being said, a few years ago I stopped in to get an estimate at Infamous, and they said that it would be a few months due to the extent of my tattoo work...full sleeve.Being impatient like so many customers mentioned above I decided to go elsewhere. That was a disaster and 3 tattoo artist later I wound up back there. What was nice is this, they saw the other person screwed up my tattoo, but didn't bash him, didn't say it's poor work...Eric said, not a problem...I can fix it. When I set up my appointment I was told it would be a few months due to the extent of the work. As promised, left my deposit and exactly several months later my tattoo was started. Artist was there, greeted me. Said I'll be a few minutes to get set up. Not only did my tattoo get completed done over, it looked totally different!!The artist added some extras that he said would make it pop....I let him do it....matter of fact I told him do whatever you want to make it look better..and he did it!!!. People who had seen my tattoo before that didn't comment would later stop and say "Dude what did you do? It's like a completely different tattoo...let me see...unbelievable who did it?" Therefore I say this, QUALITY WORK TAKES TIME!!! All the guys there are completely top notch, Shane is the man and I've gone back to get work done without any problems or issues. read more

Came here for the first time this week. I booked an appointment with Steve Wimmer a few months back. i received the standard email with rules and whatnot. I sent my deposit and had a date given to me. When I showed up it was closed but the shop girl showed up about 5 minutes after me. She let me in immediately and didn't make me wait in the cold. My artist showed up, I gave him my reference and within an hour I was brought upstairs to start getting tattooed. He put on a few movies while the tattoo was getting completed. After about 6 hours we were done and I went on my way. Very conscious of sterilization and was talkative as well which I like. The staff was very welcoming and talkative. The other artist there had a consultation and I saw how he truly cared about his client by how he spoke to her gave her suggestions on alternatives. As customers came in and out, the shop girl greeted everyone accordingly and treated everyone very good. If i lived locally, i would probably go here often even if it's to just hang out. I STRONGLY suggest getting some work here and I will DEFINITELY be coming back. Parking on the street says 2 hour limit but I had my car there all day and nothing. so don't sweat it. There is a hotel up the road that you can stay at if you are coming from afar. Along with a Kohl's and Waffle House. it's all highways around the hotel. read more

I got a realistic portrait of my husky done today by Shane. Everyone in the shop was incredibly nice and professional. After reading other people's reviews I noticed deposits were an issue. When I contacted the shop via email I was told PRIOR to booking my appointment that my deposit was non refundable. I communicated through email a few times with Cait, she was very nice and answered all of my questions. If you are looking to get a nice quality tattoo I highly suggest coming here. read more

This place has terrible customer service. Let me preface this by saying...I am married to a tattooer. I have several friends that own various tattoo shops in the area and I am knowledgeable in the industry as I have pretty much grown up around tattoo artists, so I am not an idiot as to how this should have been handled. I am not just speaking as an uneducated possible customer. I was referred to Shane from my husband and a friend of mine who has a portrait from him. I inquired about getting tattooed here via email as I was instructed upon calling the shop. It took quiet sometime for the person to get back to me to communicate the appointment. I was then instructed to send 100$ deposit via paypal to book an appointment, which I did. I was then told I could have an appointment a year and half later from the date I made the deposit. I responded by saying I should have been informed of this and I wanted a refund due to the fact I wanted this portrait of a family member that is not in good health and I wanted it before it was too late. No response. I then contacted them via email again. Again no response and no appointment. I then disputed this with pay pal. A few days before pay pal was going to refund me I got a personal call from Shane himself ( I had been dealing with a woman speaking for him before). He allowed me to explain the situation.. and told me he would book me an appointment for Feb (which was 2 months) I agreed. He told me to text him directly. I did. 3 times. No response. I allowed paypal to refund my money. I did not even know he was famous. I was going to him as the referral of my friends. Terrible communication, terrible customer service. 5+ stars across the board. I contacted Infamous tattoo and received a quick response that there was a year + waiting list! I said ok then, get me on there. I don't understand why people get upset about this. If you want the best then you will wait for the best. I gave them a $100 deposit which is understandable bc if you cancel last minute or are a no show then they could lose a whole day of business, so they want to make sure that you are serious. I was committed, I had done my research and for realism and he was my guy. I exchanged several e-mails and always received a prompt response. I arrived on my tattoo day at 9:30am for my appointment with Shane. He was very patient with me as i had 30+photos that we went through to find the best ones for my full sleeve. He is a world renowned artist yet still humble. He is very professional and really cares about giving you the best tattoo. He even let my dad hang out in the room the whole time. Yes, I am 30 years old and my dad came with me to my tattoo appointment. He likes to be supportive in everything that i do, haha. I lasted 5.5 hours in the chair before I was just done! Going in I was a little nervous even though this is not my first large tattoo but my first large visible tattoo. However, seeing the end result put me at complete ease. A tattoo is a life investment and i could not be happier. I am very excited to go back for my second sitting in 6 weeks. read more

Tried calling a few times to talk with Steve about a design and schedule an appointment. Was directed to their website and sent in a request and heard nothing. After 4 days I called they said they always respond to every inquiry. So I waited and after 2+ weeks still nothing. Just crappy. Regardless of the quality of the work which mostly is portraits from online pictures, just need to treat people better. I guess they are so rich they don't need or want new business. I also had an issue with Shane and sending a $100 deposit back in 2008. I wonder how much money he's made since then on peoples' deposits and not following through with appointments. Naturally it was too late to get the money back via PayPal at the time since he books so far in advance. Communication was fine at first. I live in NH and we emailed a few times trying to coordinate a tattoo shop where he'd be closer than DE. But then I had a totally unexpected medical issue of blood clots and was put on blood thinners. Obviously I couldn't get a tattoo until I figured out what was going on with my health. I emailed well in advance in April and wasn't getting a tattoo until September. I emailed Shane multiple times and got no reply back. He has my $100 and I have NO tattoo. Very disappointed because his work looks amazing. I just don't understand how you can take someone's money and be so dishonest. read more
