The staff was incredibly friendly and they are very diligent in their informative videos for after piercing care. They have a number you can text with questions at any time. My daughter didn't cry or complain at all during the piercing. She said she barely felt it. Rather than a punch gun like places in the mall, they use sterile needles which are much less painful. Her ears didn't bleed barely at all and they felt completely back to normal within a few days. Definitely recommended.

Codi was clearly very knowledgeable about what she was doing and was able to not only calm me down (it's always a bit scary being under a needle), but also she made the entire piercing quick and easy! She emphasized the importance of focusing on my breathing and before I knew it, she finished my daith piercing! Because Codi had extra time, she also helped me make a jewelry switch for an old conch piercing since my old bar was way too long than it needed to be. Tabby (the sweet lady at the front desk) was also very helpful in talking me through what a daith was going to feel like, making the experience much smoother. Overall, I couldn't recommend this place enough. I have gotten a cartilage piercing before, but they didn't take the time and effort and care to explain what to expect before, during, and after the appointment. Alyssa was very nice to talk to, she was very eager to help in any way she could, helped me pick out jewelry, priced and repriced for different jewelry combos, gave very helpful insight on aftercare (and they have jewelry changing services). She also went out of her way to send me a picture of the pieces I was interested in for my second visit, and held them for me until the day of my appointment. She has a really friendly and sweet energy that makes you feel both comfortable and informed. Robert is THEE piercer. Really nice guy, personable, experienced, a true artist. He's also traveled a lot so he knows cool little cultural facts, has cool stories, and has pierced in a lot of different places. He walked me through a lot and crossed all the t's (changing gloves, sterilizing, etc.) like it was second nature. He told me exactly what he was doing as he was doing it so I knew what was happening even if I couldn't see it in my line of vision. He designed the shape and I let him choose where the different pieces went so I'd say he's got the style element too. He's really passionate about what he does and very determined to make sure you leave with all the instruction on aftercare you need to make sure your body stays healthy, like down to the anatomy of it all. I left with so much positive energy because that's just the kind of place it is. If anyone's ever looking to get pierced in the DMV area, I'd say it's more than worth the drive. If many of you know Kristen opened up her new shop in Wilmington and she was my tattoo artist. Cause of my schedule and where my fiancé and I are located, we were not able to go to her this time. I PUT MY TRUST, into the lady at the front desk and asked her what other artists they had there to help me out. She referred me to Fernando, scheduled my appointment and we went yesterday, HORRIBLE. I got 2 tattoos 1 was this spiritual women and another was for my great grandfather. My grandfather one wasnt too bad because it was his hand writing and hearts he drew. But the more and more I look at this woman on my arm, it isnt even symmetrical. There are 2 middles of the flower because he couldn't see one side of the 'ideal' picture, he just mirrored it, or did whatever he pleased. Ray does my fiancés tattoos and he sat there with me and showed me what he can fix. I'm not this person to say never go back here but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO MORE RESEARCH THEN I DID!!!!! OVERALL, not the worst tattoo out there but man just take your time with clients and if you love what you do you should make clients feel their best after leaving your chair. I added the reference picture, my arm, the mistakes, and my fiancés tattoos done by RAY!! Only a handful of people are artists at Walls of Wonder.
