Indy hound is the only daycare I take my dog to! They are friendly, safe, and very affordably priced. They put on a lot of fun events like Halloween costume contests, pup cups, pool days, and have even sent home Polaroids with the dogs in seasonal headbands. They also offer baths for the dogs, which is nice because they play all day here (and usually smell like it too)! They do not have cameras to check in on the pets but do a great job of posting on their Instagram. I can tell he enjoys it, when I drop my dog off he can't wait to get in the door. It's a nice place to take him in the winter, even working remote, when I can't get outside with him as much.

Marley and one of his cool new friends (you can tell by the shirt being worn he/she is awesome!) :)

What a great place in downtown Indianapolis to take your pup! I tried Indy Hound after finding a flyer at my downtown apartment complex. I called ahead and spoke with the owner who was very nice, gave me all the details, and I took my pup (Marley) in on a Monday morning. After a quick temperament test, I was very comfortable leaving Marley overnight and he had a great time! A tired dog is a happy Mom ;) I bought the 10 day doggy daycare pass and look forward to visiting again soon! Ps: They offer awesome services like nail trims while your dog is visiting; so convenient!

I kid you not when I say this...I love this place for Toby! And I think he loves it more than being home with me. The staff is so exceptionally nice, their services with boarding, bathing, and generally caring for my pup are amazing! I love the holiday package specials and the lil gifts I get from Toby - i.e., Mother's Day paw print painting :D. They really do a great job of helping keep my pup happy and healthy. Kudos team!

Lucky to be able to take my special little guy to doggy day care. He loves going! One of his favorite places and the staff is incredible at taking care of him with all his special needs.

I've been taking my corgi puppy here for the past 4 months and we've had a great experience! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. You can tell they love the dogs and take good care of them! They also post updates of the dogs on their social media which is always fun to see! My dog loves it and gets so excited when he knows we are dropping him off! Overall, great place to take your pup!

A simple before and after of a day at Indy Hound! Enough said. Stella who NEVER sleeps, let alone stays still in the car, had a blast!! The facility as a whole is so clean and is a great environment for dogs. The staff is very welcoming and nice and explained the whole process of signing up very well. I was very hesitant to take Stella to a daycare due to her not having her rabies shot yet, but she's still able to go since she's up-to-date for a 3 month old pup. Thank gosh! She is so energetic and I don't think I've seen her this tired since my boyfriend and I have gotten her. They do not allow anyone in the back due to sanitary reasons, but they told me that I could go on google and look up what it looks like! They allowed google to go in and take pictures for that reason. A spur of the moment decision to get Stella a day care center to go to was the best decision ever. She will definitely be back! Thanks a bunch Indy Hound!

I'm sorry it's taken me this long to write a review for Indy Hound, but I've been a client of theirs for years. Alex and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I live in a small apartment in downtown Indianapolis with a very active dog. If he doesn't get physical activity, he becomes depressed and doesn't even eat. When I first got Ralphie, I could invest the time he needed to be socialized with people and other dogs at the dog park and elsewhere. He's even lived in New York City on the UWS and is used to loud noises and lots of people. When I got a new job that took me away from my apartment for 10 hours + hours each day, I knew he would be miserable in the apartment all by himself. Indy Hound is walking distance from me. Their hours are great, their staff is friendly, and their prices are reasonable. Just to highlight a couple of enormously outstanding things they've done for me, they've boarded Ralphie overnight when unexpected events made it impossible to pick him up. On one occasion they agreed to board Ralphie for a whole month when I was taken out of town at the last minute unexpectedly. With less than 24 hours notice, they were a lifesaver and I wouldn't trust Ralphie with anyone else. Their flexibility is remarkable. Finally, I bought a one month package for Ralphie this past month, but due to an injury, the vet said to keep him home and resting for 2 weeks. By the time he was healed, I brought him in for his last day of his package. The staff asked ME about Ralphie's injury and about the possibility of discussing an extension of the package after speaking with the owner. I sort of figured that Ralphie's injury was tough luck, but they went ahead and extended his package! They did NOT need to do this, and I was blown away by the generosity. Alex and his staff are great. My dog wouldn't have the temperament and constant activity but for Indy Hound. They're friendly, flexible, and reliable. Thanks guys. I owe you more times than I can count.

Our adorable fur baby, Norman, absolutely loves Indy Hound and so do we! He wears himself out playing with all of his friends, the humans and playing in the pool when it's hot outside! The best part is that after a long day with his furry friends, we request a bath which leaves him smelling squeaky clean. I love that the staff at Indy Hound bathe him because it's my least favorite thing (and Norman's also)! Do yourself and your pooch a favor and bring them to Indy Hound for a fun day and a bath!

We are looking for dog boarding while attending a conference in Indianapolis. Your name is listed under "Best dog boarding", but then it says "petsitting" in the listing. Do you "sit" or do you "board" or am I lucky and you do both?…

We are a dog daycare & boarding only facility!

Our dogs love it here! They are extremely excited to go, and come home content and tired. The staff…read moreis very friendly and they all seem to truly care about the dogs. They know us by name when we walk through the door. We like knowing that the other dogs have been vetted and will be able to get along. We had issues scheduling at other dog daycares, but Puppy Playground allows drop offs without an appointment, which is convenient for us. We also are big fans of the half-day option: drop off before noon and pick up before 6 hours have elapsed.

After visiting several doggy daycares and doing lots of research, I was recommended puppy…read moreplayground the most. I filled out a simple inquiry on their website and someone contacted me right away. We were able to visit just two days later. They offer the first day free too which is wonderful, really gives you the opportunity to check it out before buying a package. Pricing is average for most places, I think it's worth every penny. My golden doodle is soo worn out when he comes home we have to carry him upstairs. He sleeps the rest of the night every time! The employees are outstanding. They know my face and pups name as soon as we walk in the door. They really care about your fur babies. My favorite feature of all is their Pupdates. Nothing makes you happier than receiving pictures of your fur baby having fun. I can tell you a few times they have went above and beyond....he rolled in poop one day....You read that correctly, poop. I wouldn't have ever known if they didn't tell me. At my arrival he was fresh and clean from a bath!! Another time he was showing signs of ear pain and they cleaned out his ears and kept an eye on him. I don't trust everyone with my dog, but I can count on Puppy Playground. :)

Since that order I have opted in to the shipping protection and luckily haven't had any cracked containers come yet. The food is always frozen like a brick shipped all the way to New England.
