I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired My Movers Inc. for an interstate move (about 12 hours away.) After a short phone call, they responded with a rough estimate based on the size of our home the following morning, which was a great response time. They scheduled an in-person walkthrough that week, showed up on time, and had an itemized, specific estimate by the end of it. We were able to schedule the move then and there, and were given guidelines on how to pack our things for the move and what wasn't allowed (e.g. liquids, fragile loose items, etc.) on the truck. Movers showed up right on schedule and cleared our packed belongings and furniture in under 2 hours. Similar story for unloading: they arrived right on time, and got all our stuff off the truck in 2 hours. Even though we didn't have a ton of stuff, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to load and unload. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was friendly and polite. We ultimately came in slightly under the original estimate, which may not always be the case, but I appreciate when a business estimates high. Pleasant surprises are always better than unpleasant ones. :)

There were 30+ negative versus 2 positive. Reviews on there state they break and ruin your shit then won't reimburse. I haven't filed a claim because I'm no where near done unpacking yet but I won't be shocked to get completely ignored like everyone else and if that happens, I'll go to the BBB and anywhere else I can... news.. wherever. We paid them a crap ton of money so this kind of damage is insane. NEVER EVER HAVE THEM PACK FOR YOU! They did not wrap any of our furniture. They put gouges and scraped up walls in our old house. They left trash all over our old house... soda cans, bottles... all kinds of crap. They packed **SIX** family photo canvases together in one box with zero packing paper so the frames rubbed on each other and ruined the pics. Who does that?! So much stuff ruined. It cost us almost $20k to move, I can't afford to replace this stuff they ruined! Please think twice and ask around before you use Colt Movers. Look in the Westfield chatter and moms groups. We were quoted an hourly rate and a 1-hr travel fee. The estimated time was 2 hours and for arrival at 3 PM. The arrival time was 5 PM, and the move lasted until after 10 PM. So the time estimates were not correct. This also increased the travel fee. So 5 hours labor, the travel fee, plus gas mileage expense, and some supplies, for everything including the $100 deposit, it was $1,300 to move. I was a bit shocked but maybe that's normal with today's prices. There were no issues with the move.
