Wonderful local Indianapolis company offering amazing beer knowledge from the driver/guides, samplings of some of the best craft beer in the city and a fun way to get around in the little green buses! Very clean, comfortable and safe. You can bring your beers on the bus and keep your growler/bullet fills cold in their coolers. Grab a few friends and take in the Indy Brew Bus!! The downtown, broad ripple and south side tours are all great!!

This brew bus is great fun for a weekend adventure around town! You can start your trip in various spots around town and you'll try out about four breweries. The bus driver is not just a driver-they're tour guides and do an awesome job sharing things about each brewery. It's a fun way to try out some new places!

We took a group selfie at each stop on the tour!

H£|_|_ ¥£$ to the Indy Brew Bus! Some friends and I got together and decided to take a brewery tour around Indy as a birthday party, so we hit up the Indy Brew Bus! The bus took us to four different breweries where we were all allowed a minimum of three samples a piece. You could also buy a pint to drink as a roadie! Growlers and bullets were on the list of things to bring along on the tour, so don't forget those! Also tour guide Cameron, better known as Cam the Man, is super awesome and hilarious! Keep your fingers crossed that he is your guide! He let us play whatever music we wanted, and let me tell you, it was LIVE on that little green bus!!

Eight of us from Florida rode the bus with Andy as our guide. Andy was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, energetic, engaging and fun. He took us on a tour of the last brewery, Fountain Square. We went to Sun King, Flat 12, Indiana City and Fountain Square. They gave free samples at all but Sun King was a little stingy on the samples. The trip was made best by Andy's enthusiasm!

The end of our tour, lots of fun

Had a great experience on the brew bus! We went to celebrate my 21st birthday. Our guides were really friendly and told us a lot of fun facts. Every brewery was great! Great customer service from the bus and breweries. The Indy brew bus actually bought me some beer at one of the breweries for my birthday which was really nice ! 10/10 would recommend, I would like to do another one with different breweries and explore more!

After almost nine years of marriage, you tend to look beyond the candy hearts and chocolates when it comes to Valentine's Day. On this specific V-Day, I suggested something different for my husband and another couple. I had heard about Indy Brew Bus before and made it my mission to experience it this year. For $30 per person, you receive a 3.5 hour brewery tour around Indianapolis visiting up to 4 breweries that provide 2-3 samples of different brews at each stop. One stop even gave us up to 5 samples (thank you Deviate!). The stops rotate all the time, so you really never know which ones you might go to, but for this specific tour, we chose a Sunday afternoon which was 1-4pm with a pick-up location downtown. We traveled to 4 breweries: Flat 12 Bierworks, Deviate Brewing, Bier Brewery, and Indiana City. Our driver, Todd, gave us his spiel in regards to purchases made within the breweries, how much time we had at each stop, answered any questions we had, and provided a fun atmosphere by blaring old school hip hop (Salt-N-Pepa anyone?). We didn't have a full bus which was nice because we ended up befriending everyone and the whole group got out at the same stop at the end of the tour for a meal at Yard House. Top tips: -You have about 35 minutes at each stop (spend your time wisely) -You receive 2-3 free samples at each brewery -Try all the samples...even if you don't think you'll like it. You never know what you'll like from brewery to brewery. -Food is scarce. There was only one stop (Flat 12) that had sandwiches for purchase, but there are snacks such as pretzels, etc. at others. -Bathrooms are available at each stop (go even if you don't have to, because you will be stuck on a bus!) -Any purchases made at the breweries can be taken onto the bus, but purchased drinks will need to be transferred into plastic cups) -Growlers are available for purchase at each brewery and there are coolers on the bus to keep them cold -Bottled water is available on the bus for everyone (pace yourself) -For the downtown tour, there is a map on their website that will show you exactly where they can pick you up. We chose a business on Pennsylvania because of easy access to parking and they picked us up there -Todd, our driver, sent me a text letting me know that he would be picking our group up at a specific time and confirmed the pick-up location (nice touch, great service!) -We did have one person in our group that didn't care for beer, but asked at each location for alternatives. Some places might have wine and/or hard cider. It's worth an ask if you aren't a beer person, but you want to go along for the experience. -Tip your driver. Todd was wonderful. He gave us the space we wanted at each stop, gave us a 10 minute salute when it was almost time to leave, and he drove in a friggin snowstorm to get us to all the stops. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to have a fun experience. I also love that it advocates drinking local - we've got some great breweries right here in Indy, let's show them some more love!

Take a wonderful tour of Indianapolis with a learned Indiana native Carrie Zimmerman !!!…read more We were so fortunate to get the information and entertaining facts about the industries, sports and famous people of Indianapolis. We certainly felt grateful to hear of this city's amazing history. We went to the Speedway, heard about the famous authors, Brad Tarkington, Silverstein, Kurt Vonnegut and saw some beautiful architecture which included Monument Circle, museums, the theatres along Mass Ave, and the canal.

Not Ms. Carrie! She is out there hitting the road, enlightening visitors and showing the sights of Indianapolis to a appreciative audience. Circle City Tours is very flexible and will work with your schedule and timeline. I was picked up downtown for the tour but for a slight fee, Carrie dropped me off at an Airport hotel. I was grateful for her immense knowledge of the city, particularly historical facts. LOVED the trek through lovely Crown Hill cemetery, which is not morbid at all. Carrie pointed out the many grave sites of noted politicians, authors, artists, ex-Presidents and the locally prominent who lie in repose there. The Civil War burial section was also very touching. Ms. Carrie pointed out magnificent churches, memorials, art and children's museum, local eateries (Shapiro's Deli=yummy!) and the White River State Park area. We even got to check out all the Christmas decorations up at the Indy Speedway. She packs a lot into the 3-hour tours but when it's over, you feel a sense of accomplishment that you learned so much about Indianapolis-- a city made all the more beautiful than it already is, by the beautiful ministrations of Carrie and Circle City Tours. 5 YELP STARS.

Goodness, have I walked the canal about 50 times now?!…read more It's such a unique experience for Indy to have some water space in the middle of the city. This 3 mile loop will take you from 11th Street down to White River State Park to access the green space and extra trails down there. The canal water itself is not super cute, where there can be litter, and the water is rather opaque. They do drain the canal every so often to keep it from getting too uncute. The sidewalks are kept nicer, though a few spots in front of apartment buildings could use some TLC. There are also a few spots where the sidewalk is not level, so take caution if that is an issue. It's mostly stair access to the canal, but I *think* I've seen an elevator around the Ohio street basin. The canal has a few businesses along it for your merriment. Notably, there is Fresco on the Canal (I have a separate review for this) which is open March-October. Eiteljorg museum cafe is open daily around the lunch hours (11-3) and can be accessed through their patio gate. Entertainment wise, there is more going on. I've done the swan boat rentals, where you can pedal around on the canal. This is quite a workout! Rental of swan boats and kayaks is near the Ohio Street basin. There is also the gondolas, where your gondolier can sing, and they've always sounded marvelous. There's also a few stations for the Pacers Bikeshare around the canal, which is free for Marion County residents. Any time the weather is right, you can find me getting my steps in!

Love the greens, bridges, arts around it. It would better with warmer weather for sure. I couldn't walk far because of the cold. But overall I love the scenery.

The farm gift shop was stocked with incredible raw, unprocessed honey, honeycomb, and beeswax products--we left with plenty! So many cool things about that experience... 1) I used a chainsaw for the first time and now I want to cut down all the trees! 2) We put something that wouldn't fit in our car in our relatively new truck bed... it was sooooo big! 3) While I was there, I bought several jars of their honey (again)! They have completely embraced the "hot honey" trend and are making some amazing honeys that are perfect for a nice "drizzle" on pizza, a Christmas ham or even as a sweetener in your green beans or spaghetti sauce! Their service is fantastic and you're even able to taste a few before buying! Go see them for gift baskets or to join their "honey (not jelly) of the month club" #iykyk
