I can mindlessly wander up and down the aisles putting things in a shopping basket that I had no idea I needed. However, when it is time to send a card or personal note to friend, I can always color coordinate the ink to the card. Also, my filing system at home would put most office administrators to shame. This recent visit to Office Depot had a mission. I wanted a second three hole punch. I've gotten tired of having to adjust the distance between my large three ring binders and my smaller one. So I decided it would be wiser to just buy another one and then they'd both be permanently set for each notebook. As I entered, I was cheerfully greeted by a sales associate who walked me straight to the area where a variety of punchers were displayed. It was not an easy choice, but I managed to pick one out after examining the display models. Since it was going to be a duplicate, I let price point be the deciding factor. I thought having a sales associate take me directly to my needed item, would keep me focused. Wrong! I still managed to find other little goodies as I walked to cashier. I found a little bundle of mini (pocket size) composition books. These are going to be great for taking Yelp notes. Store is well organized and clean. As I was getting ready for the event, OD corporate called me and said my order couldn't be processed because there was an issue with my billing address. After getting this squared away, I found myself in a pinch as my order wasn't ready and I had about 15 minutes to get it printed. I entered and the staff was quite busy, it was one of those times when everything was happening at once. Lots of spinning plates. The manager came out to help and worked diligently getting everyone taken care of. She did it calmly and was so helpful. Thank you so much!

Initially, Computer Solutions was called regarding wireless issues at home. The local cable company was unable to provide consistent help after several visits, but a tech from Computer Solutions had a resolution in less than two hours. I subsequently had issues with my PC. A service company was called and after a couple of hours working on it, made no progress. I was charged for the service call, and told they would do some research on my problem. After a few weeks there were no answers. As a small business owner, an operable PC is vital. I called Computer Solutions at 9:00 on a Monday morning and had a representative on site by noon. My computer was having problems, and I couldn't leave home. Someone drove all the way to where I lived and repaired my computer in a single visit. I was so relieved since I really depended on my computer. The 2nd time was last year when a different computer (a very heavy 27" iMac) needed to go into the shop for repair. There's no way I could have carried the computer, so someone from Computer Solutions came and picked up the iMac and took it to the shop for repair and afterwards returned it. Again, such a relief! The 3rd time was last week. My computer had crashed, and not only was I facing the loss of my computer but, more importantly 10 years of precious data. I had conferred with Apple tech by phone, and they were unable to do anything. I brought my machine to Computer Solutions, and in a very short time they were able to repair my computer and thus preserve all of my data. It felt like a miracle, and I was thrilled. My special thanks to Michael who was so knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring. The cost of the repair was much less than I had anticipated and, best of all, my computer was up and running. The owner efficiently removed a couple screws, used a precise scraping tool that looked like something from the dentists office and then blew pressurized air making a small cloud of dust and less than 5 minutes later had me plug my phone to check the charging - good as new. I REALLY did not want to buy a new one, but was almost resigned to it, fearing it was water damaged. I thought we'd at least get a repair person's opinion. A lot of reviews I read of other shops said they'd been charged a LOT for diagnosing the problem and I was not interested in that. I came across the Yelp page for The Phone Doctor in Kirkwood and it sounded like they offered diagnostics for free. I made an appointment (easily done through their website) and went into the shop. Parking on that Saturday afternoon was super easy with plenty of space in the free lot behind their building and even several spaces on Jefferson just adjacent. I handed the phone over the counter and before it was out of my hand the technician said, "Needs a new screen." I was skeptical, but a second tech looked over his shoulder and agreed. They quoted me $125 and 15 minutes, I said, "Deal!" I was out the door with a working phone in about 10 minutes, in which time I ordered a heavy duty case so we don't end up repeat customers too soon. Could not be happier!
