I could never make food this delicious, so for us this was a no brainer. I am spending less time in the kitchen than ever, my grocery runs are small and quick, and we have a selection of delicious soups, entrees, sides and vegetables on hand. We divide the food into ziplock freezer bags, lay them flat in the freezer, and then break off a chunk when we want to eat it. Whether we reheat it in the microwave or the oven, from the fridge or frozen, everything heats up perfectly and the meat is still tender. We appreciate Chef Mazerine's commitment to healthy cooking, and she goes to great lengths to source local, healthy foods. As a master Chef she has great efficiency, we get our orders impossibly fast, and they're so fresh that they're often still warm. You may not think that a personal chef / private chef is in your budget. But you can stretch your budget farther when a professional does all the sourcing, meal planning and preparation. We had family members, both in the wedding and not, staying on the property. We wanted a grab and go type of style for the family to access throughout the day. I talked them through my vision and they easily accepted it. They asked plenty of questions and made me feel comfortable that they've had lots of experiences providing meals for people at vacation rentals before, so they could definitely handle our ask. Their warm nature and happy personalities made me feel comfortable and at ease going into a wedding full of stress. I have them a price point per person and what types of foods I was looking for. They delivered a menu and I made a few requests such as not wanting BBQ slides which they substituted with a beef, horseradish, and cheddar sandwich which my father in law and I LOVE, and a different vegetarian frittata that didn't include spinach because my mom is allergic. They also accommodated no peanuts for my cousin, which meant she could eat anything she wanted. They had plenty of breakfast meat for my husband who loves sausage and bacon and all the things! Some favorites that I would recommend to someone looking to book them for something similar... seasonal fruit salad- it was not just melons! Apples, pineapple, berries, from babies to adults, we all loved it. The lemon blueberry muffin things? DELICIOUS. I have had those for breakfast 3 days in a row now... The frittatas were also cooked to perfection and HUGE! The best part... everyone crushed ALL of the leftovers the day after AND we fit in some for lunch that day too. I personally am so excited I found it. Lynn, the owner, has a small buffet set up with different things each day. Today, she had potato chip chicken strips, cabbage, green beans, egg rolls, broccoli, garlic bread, mushrooms, and a few other things. She also has a refrigerated section with sandwiches, fruit, drinks, and today there was also lasagna. Lynn's prices are crazy cheap!! The sandwiches are only $2.50 and the fruit is $2. A can of soda is only $0.50 (and they even had cranberry Sprite- so good and hard to find) and bottles were only a buck!! Her buffet was 3.75$ for a small to go box and $7 for a large to go box.
