Unless you are ready to buy the suit on the spot I would not recommend going here. They only help if you are willing to buy. They provide a consultation service that anyone can look up online. The measurement process is almost a sealed commitment and if you don't commit they don't measure you. Fabric and style for suits vary and they don't seem to understand that you may have a change of heart. This isn't proper customer service as they make you feel as though you are wasting their time unless you commit to buying. read more

The initial alterations were unfortunately of minimal help, and the staff ended up ordering a completely new jacket. When I received this second jacket a few weeks later, it was much better, but still not quite right, so I brought it back for further adjustments. By the time I picked up the alterations on the second jacket, I think all of us were ready for the process to be over. The fit was reasonable, and I took the suit home. Overall, between the making of two jackets and tailoring on each, the process took about two months. Throughout it all, the staff were incredibly polite--even when I was clearly testing their patience. In the end, though, this experience involved numerous visits and extended waiting periods. Since the fit still isn't quite perfect, I can't help but feel I might have been better off buying a suit off the rack and having it tailored. read more

We left with a suit an ordered and ready to arrive before prom. I was blow away at the value. I expected to pay about double the final cost for the level of customization you get here. I was able to book a last minute appt to get a suit made for an upcoming wedding. Everyone I met was friendly and they were extremely thorough when going through every detail of my pants and jacket. Ciara was very patience when I answered half of their questions of preference with "I don't know" or "what do you recommend?" I'm rather indecisive. Then Hyunwu took over to thoroughly measure my parts and jacket specifications and they were so fun to work with. Really made the experience a joy. The Black Suit Saga is finally over! The suit came in originally in September and because Max took ill with something vile, my appointment got lost. Never fear, the newest member of the Indochino fitters took over. His name is David and yes, he has a good eye. He saw almost instantly that the new suit was undersized and tight, so he basically re-measured me and with the exception of the trousers, sent the suit and vest back to be remade. It's amazing what a few centimeters here and there can do to make a suit a suit. Funny thing though was David was rather chatty and he talked about his own suits and he even said he wore bow ties on occasion. In fact, he asked me what style of bow tie I preferred. I was quite surprised by the question and I told him that I preferred pre-tied bows as I am all thumbs (and that's the truth) so pre-tied bows work best for me. He then said I shouldn't feel bad about it. I was pleased by that and yes he even remarked on my wearing tuxedos and said that there was nothing wrong with my choices. Anyway, he summed up the end by saying that for the price of the suit, I would be shortchanging myself if he had let me go home with the suit the way it was on that day. Three weeks later, I was getting a bit anxious and I called Nordstrom late in the day. Shocked that I got Jackson (yay!!) I told him what was up and he said he'd help me the next day (I had made an appointment for Wednesday). I also dropped the fact that Indochino finally got my matching Black Watch Bow Tie back in stock and he was so happy to hear that; he placed an order right then and there for that bow and now we wait on it. But as far as the new suit was concerned, he took matters into his hands, had me change into the suit (oh yeah, it's now Wednesday) and he noticed that it was looking pretty good. He noticed that all the changes had been made and the suit was fitting really good. Jackson said the red apple bow tie was neat but that I shouldn't hesitate to wear my black bow ties with it even though it is not a tuxedo (the option was not available). Jackson and I bs'd a bit and he told me things were getting a bit crazy school wise. But I know that I was very happy to have Jackson back looking out for me. The best thing though was this suit was and is a great bargain in the fact that it is in the off-season section. This meant I paid less than $400 for it and I still get a great Indochino product. I've worn it for church just once, and I may have to wear it to the Temple in a couple weeks. But I bought it because I don't necessarily wish to wear my good black tuxedo for church. It's a bit too formal. Overall, despite the hassles of getting this suit to fit well, I still say Indochino makes a damn good suit and when you're treated like a customer by people who care, you will wind up totally happy. Thanks Jackson for making this one come out good and thanks too for Max and David for your efforts too. Next stop: my re-made dress shirts as well as that long awaited Black Watch Bow-Tie! Oh yes, figuring about nine to ten months out, I have my sights on a bright blue suit (tuxedo) for my next order, but it will be a long way off! Indochino makes "semi-tailored" clothes. There are a limited number of measurement they can change but they are willing to do alterations to get it right. This can be a great way to get reasonably priced shirts that fit very well, but you may have to go in many times to get it right. read more

A massive waste of time and overall frustrating experience. We came to this location two weeks ago to discuss what we were looking for and pick out the fabric. We were assisted in scheduling an appointment for a fitting two weeks later. Today we showed up for our appointment only to be told that the fabric was no longer available. No warning, no heads up. It's intimidating to get custom made clothes since I rarely (if ever) have done it, but the entire process was easy. From start to finish the knowledgeable associates help you design every detail. Make an appointment online! Everything is custom, nothing is off the rack so you need time here. I had a suit made which shipped in a timely fashion (just about 2.5 weeks) and fit perfectly on the first try. I did have issues with 3 custom dress shirts as they came too big and unflattering; so that took repeat visits and 2 more re-orders after the initial one to get them to my preferred fit. Luckily there's no hassle and the associates accommodated everything and were willing to work with me until it was right (I did also show them how my usual dress shirts fit). I recommend people be patient and start this process well in advance to avoid any time crunch, just in case. Definitely looking forward to more suits and shirts in the future. read more

In the market for a suit/tux for my upcoming wedding. I was really excited for this appointment based on what I knew at the time about Indochino. This was my first experience shopping for a custom & tailored suit. We got in right when the appointment was scheduled. It took a few minutes for someone to come by and acknowledge us (probably started the appointment 5-10 minutes late). He pointed us towards the fabric samples and said we should look around before someone else would assist us. When the next sales associate took over, there was no discussion about what this shopping process would look like. He mostly just watched us look around and would answer occasional questions we had. On a positive note, there appeared to be a lot of interesting colors and fabrics. As we settled on getting a tuxedo, we were told only the ~7 fabrics on the tux rack were available as tuxedo color/material. When we followed up on that comment and asked about all the other fabrics in the store, he eventually agreed that any of those could be used as tuxedo fabric/colors too. When I then followed up with whether there are any downsides to using those fabrics as tuxedo fabric, he said there weren't any downsides...so my fiancé and I were a bit baffled as to why he initially dismissed all the other options. As we started to settle on our final selections, he approached us again and told us that there was only 8 minutes left in the appointment but the measurements would take at least 30 minutes, so we had run out of time. I was a bit surprised and a little disappointed that he had not told us sooner that 1) the measurement process would take that long and 2) we were falling behind schedule until it was way too late. Feeling bad, I mentioned that I could book another appointment to come back and finish up, but he sounded a little annoyed/frustrated with me. As I started to ask a question about some of the fabric I was holding in my hand he walked away so that most of my question was asked to his back. I thought maybe he was just putting something down and would then turn around and answer, but he kept walking and never came back. He then went to talk to another couple who had come in (presumably for the next appointment). My fiancé and I ended up leaving with 5 minutes left in our appointment. I'm sure for someone who knows exactly what they want when they walk in there might have a much better experience than we did. But for us, we were really disappointed with the customer service we received: the lack of communication about the process, the minimal effort that seemed to be given, the limited assistance or advice provided, and in the end the total dismissal and physical manifestation of the term "ghosting" when he walked about as I was mid-sentence. It was very rude and off-putting. We've made an appointment elsewhere and won't be coming back. read more

I would absolutely not recommend ever shopping at Indochino. I have had 2 suit remakes that fit so badly I had to wear an alternate suit for my own wedding. When I finally came into get a replacement suit they told me it would be ready on a Monday for me to pick it up. After arriving on Tuesday, the suit wasn't even ready. Indochino online and this storefront were very poor at substantive customer service, error prone, and almost entirely unapologetic. I'd been a customer of Indochino for years when, in 2018, I had to go in in person to this storefront remeasured due to errors in Indochino's measurement database. Both times, I had to pay for my own own Lyft or pay for my own car parking and use my own time, due to Indochino's staff's and system's ineptness. The style shirt was remade twice for me, and this final one ripped the first time I wore it. When I wrote Indochino.com to ask for a replacement shirt, they refused. I told them I will never, ever be using Indochino again. This was among the worst experiences I've had buying clothes online, and I had already spent a couple of thousand dollars with Indochino cumulatively over the years. I am an Indochino success story. A satisfied and now loyal customer. There are those who are unsatisfied with the company, and their online reviews almost convinced me to settle for an off-the-rack suit. I'm so glad I went for it anyways! I knew a few months ago that I wanted a charcoal suit. Subscribe to their email list and you will see that at any given time they typically have a few suits on sale for $329 or less. It was only a matter of time until a heavier weight merino wool super 110+ charcoal suit came on sale. When it did, I set an appointment for the next day! Scheduling was a breeze with their online system. I got there a little late but they were still happy to work with me. They guided me downstairs for a fitting. They took some preliminary measurements, and then had me try on two pants and two suit jackets to find which was a better fit. From there, they pinned nearly every seam and pleat to get the fit just right for me. It was SO WORTH going into the store instead of taking my measurements online. They pinned my sleeves and legs to make them slimmer, adjusted the circumference of the midsection of the jacket, added to the seat of the pants, and took in the chest to make sure it would fit just right. The also noted to add a half inch of length here and take an inch away there, and then the fitting was done. After the fitting, which probably lasted about 25 minutes, they had me head back up to the show room where I got to see the different suit options available to add to my suit, each at no additional cost. This is usually when a customer picks the fabric they want, but I had already chosen online. (Note: They match online prices in store!!!!!) There were so many options that I would never have known which to choose if I had ordered online. At the store you can see and touch the different options, but even more helpful were the employees. It was an invaluable resource to have someone there I could ask which options were more popular and which were signs of a bespoke suit. They even found me a sample of the fabric I wanted despite it not being on the fabric display. I'm glad they did, because I liked it so much more in person than online! It was lighter and more vibrant in person. They walked me through each different option, and about ten minutes later my suit was ordered. They told me it would take about 2 weeks until the suit was on my doorstep. One of the coolest things about Indochino is that they offer adjustments for free, and if you are still unhappy, they can just make you a whole new suit. A cool side note: they update your measurements profile with any alterations they make, so future suits won't require any additional alterations. Alterations seem to be where many people become dissatisfied with the company. Because their alterations are free of charge, the waiting list is 6-8 weeks. At that point, the suit might still need more work. If you come in hoping to get a custom suit the week or even month before your wedding, you won't get your perfect suit in time. My suit took 13 days from ordering to arrival. I tried it on right away. It fits so well and is so comfortable that my pajamas have some serious competition. It looks perfect in every way, and will not require any alternations. It's a relief I won't have to take it back in for alterations, but it's reassuring knowing that they would be free if they were needed. I'm so happy to have my first custom suit! I went in trying to get one of my first fitted suits for a wedding. Didn't really know what was involved, but the employees made it easy and helped guide me in picking out what I needed. The suit itself feels nice, but I don't have much of a point of reference. The process works like this: 1) Make an appointment to get yourself measured. This takes up to an hour. Weekends are very busy so make your appointment for weekends at least a few days in advance. 2) After you're measured, the measurements made are saved to your account. The suit you order will be off of these measurements that you wouldn't be able to adjust. You can adjust some basic numbers like arm length, but I don't think these make much of a difference after you get measured in store. 3) My order took ~2 weeks to arrive, but order sooner just in case. 4) If you need adjustments, you'll make another appointment and bring your suit it. Go over what you want changed and they'll tweak it for you free of additional charges. Depending on how many adjustments need to be made, it could take quite a while for adjustments, so again, plan ahead. Perhaps a few weeks or longer for this step. Notes: 1) Indochino has discounts on their site for every possible occasion. "Happy first Monday of the month!" There will always be a sale. I waited and tracked my particular suit for some months (a premium suit) throughout various holidays. My suit fluctuated by maybe 20-30$ but didn't really drop especially much on Black Friday or Christmas or any of the major holidays. Some coupons stack and some don't. Not really any way to know unless you try. You can search online for various coupons and try to stack them together in different combinations. If it doesn't work, their online customer service is great and you can check with them. 2) A few of the available linings change every couple of week. I purchased a suit at the store as I was part of a wedding party. I live in LA and had to fly back to Seattle for get fitted since majority of the wedding party was up there. I got fitted for measurements and received the suit in LA a couple weeks after. When I tried on the suit, the suit was not tailored to my measurements at all. It was not close however I tried to be understanding. I called and they said I could get the suit further tailored at their store or if I choose to use a different tailor they would reimburse me up to $70. What they didn't tell me was the time limit to get it further tailored or reimbursed. The entire experience from flying up to get measured and to receive a suit that was not close to not being fully professional and clear in terms of what the conditions were, I expected more especially for a special occasion as my best friends wedding. While the suite can seem affordable, I ended up paying more to have it cost the same as a high end brand suit (but the material doesn't match). If you go to the store, make sure you clarify all details (even though customer service reps should be doing so). read more

Very Disappointed! It was my first time trying Indochino. I was on vacation in Seattle and wanted to buy a few custom shirts. They had a promo for 3 shirts for $199. I was somehow upsold into spending over $1,100 on a suit, sportcoat and 3 shirts. The shirts are ok but the suit and sport coat are a terrible fit. I normally wear roughly a 40 slim. These look like they would fit a 44 full. I don't understand how they could be this far off on a custom built suit. After spending over an hour on measurements? We don't live local and I am not receiving any assistance from Indochino to resolve. it has been over a week and I still have not heard back from customer service. read more

I made an appointment at this location for a suit and shirt fitting and had an excellent experience. My tailor/fitter Sean went above-and-beyond to make sure I got a suit which would fit me perfectly, work well for my needs, and looks awesome. Sean spent over 2 hours with us, walking me through all of the fabrics and styles, doing a very thorough fitting by having me try several variants of pant and jacket silhouettes to find the best, then fine-tuning the measurements from that base until I looked marvelous. I have a difficult-to-fit frame (short, wide shoulders, barrel chested, and long legs), and I really appreciated all of this attention to detail. Sean explained each and every customization detail, the effect it will have on the look and style of the suit. He spent as long as it took to get the right fit, then double- and triple-checked his choices with the other fitters. He then helped me pick out some shirts which will work well with the suit, and serve me for a range of occasions. I have not yet received the finished product, but I am incredibly pleased with the fitting service. Even though I don't live in Seattle (was visiting family at the time), if I ever need another fitting I might fly in just to see Sean again. The service was that good. read more

Both my fiancee and I had fantastic experiences here with Jordan. My fiancee originally signed up for a suit appointment for an upcoming wedding, and based on their experience, I signed up for a suit appointment the following day. Jordan was incredibly friendly and was so patient as she walked us through all the different suit options. She recommended what looked best, which details made sense or not, and which suit materials worked with each season. And she definitely wasn't pushy at all, giving us lots of time to debate what we wanted our final suits to look like. We didn't feel any pressure to get more than what we came for. I appreciated how easy the fitting was, and how she always asked consent before adjusting material in more sensitive areas. She also did a great job at fitting the suit to accentuate certain parts while diminishing other parts (such as highlighting shoulders and minimizing hips). My fiancee ended up with a blue suit and myself a purple suit (described by Jordan as "Batman villain" shade). We're still currently waiting for the suits to be mailed to us (takes about 3 weeks) and are excited to go back in to get the suit adjusted for some last minute tweaks (all suits have 30 days of free additional alterations once received). The Seattle location had several women working the floor, many whom wear suits from Indochino (another woman salesperson was wearing a double breasted suit from one of Indochino's more recent prints). I wanted to like them. The workers are nice enough. I ordered 4 suits online as I just got a new job and my line of work requires wearing one. The fit was off by about half an inch on the sleeves and half an inch on the back so I needed it altered. Decided to get them done at the Seattle store and dropped them off on Jan 5th. Was told they were behind and needed 4 weeks so it'll be finished on Feb. 5th no matter how small the alteration was. Fine. I call on Feb 1st to check the status of my suits so I could plan a day to make the one hour drive up there. Was reminded that their finish date was the Feb. 5th and was told they would call me to keep me updated regardless of if it's done or not. I let another couple weeks pass by; no phone call, no email. I follow up again Feb. 16th. Was told the delay was due to "the snow we had and all that good stuff," they were "short on tailors" and were "in the middle of interviewing some as we speak." They assured me my suit was "in front of the line" and that it'd be ready in the next few days and to keep calling back to check on them. Not my job, but again, fine. I call back today, Feb. 21st and now was told my suits have been moved from "the front of the line" to "on the table.." so it should be done any moment now. So I ask the person I'm calling "ok so since it's on the table, it should be done by tomorrow given that the alterations are minor ones." He says "maybe, but give us a call just incase." I'm not holding my breath. Don't get me wrong, their workers are very nice, and their manager (Mia I believe is her name) is wonderful. But this experience is unacceptable and just left me with a sour taste in my mouth. read more

Parking sucks, but upon entrance to the building was a nice layout. I was greeted by Debbin (I think I spelled it correctly) and told her I needed to get measured as I'm in somewhat of a rush to get a suit by the end of September. She asked if I needed help or if I was just browsing, which is the most appropriate question to ask a guest. Sometimes I just want to browse in a store, but there are times when I do need some help finding something, so it's a good thing she asked the right question. I didn't know that we had to schedule an appointment ahead of time to get measured because the process takes at least an hour. Because it's my first time getting this done, I had to wait around for a few hours. When I arrived a few hours later, it turns out that the summer fabrics wasn't in stock anymore because the new Fall products have just come in. I should have come in the week prior. Their all-season fabrics were good enough for me, even though they didn't have a big selection of fabrics to choose from. However, it was good enough for me. I ended up choosing their $509 suit with dress shirt and tie special, with their "luxury" fabrics (Indochino's most pricey suits). I chose the charcoal sharkskin 90% Merino Wool and 10% Mohair? It was quite nice and comfortable to the touch. I would say that this is the perfect spot for someone who isn't looking to do too much customization with their suit, and just want something simple. While Debbin was measuring me, I did ask for a few requests, such as a gusseted crotch for my pants (rare for anyone to know about it, even most tailors won't know what this is). I'll have to wait until the suit is mailed to me in 3 weeks to find out if there is one. Most suit pants I've come across do have it gusseted. Overall, it was a good experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a made-to-measure custom suit. It's a good thing all the measurements are saved on your online profile, so I can use that for future references. I plan to do a handful of summer suits when I'm back in Vietnam in the future, but Indochino will be my go-to store if I really needed something local and a quicker turnaround and an affordable price. If you plan to get a suit for the summer, good luck finding a tailor who's not that busy, because most weddings are done during the summer. Do yourself a favor and get your suit during the Spring just before the summer. Suits may take longer than 3 weeks to make during the busiest time of the year. The good thing about this company is that there's an actual storefront who can do any minor adjustments if there's an issue with my suit. You can see a few tailors in the backroom working on some fabrics. I had to choose a custom suit due to my body built. For those who can easily choose a department store suit off the rack and fit perfectly into them, I'm one of the many who is jealous. I wish I was between 5'7" to 5'11" model! read more

My husband purchased 3 custom suits at the downtown Seattle INDOCHINO for various events. During the initial customization, we were taken through what appeared to be a very thorough process of sizing and material selection, however that translated to a poorly constructed ill fitting product. When the suits arrived, the pants were clearly not the right measurements (both length and pant leg width), and we went right back for "alterations" - which meant weeks of waiting, then getting a call that they were completed, only to go to the store to be told the items were "lost" and they would have to "investigate" to see what happened. Last week we went by to pick up a pair of pants that were, again, "altered" only to get home and find someone else's suit in the bag - they had given us the wrong order! Yet another call to the store and other "investigation" found that our pants were mistakenly put somewhere under the wrong name, and were indeed ready for pick up. We picked up the pants today, and surprise, they weren't even worked on yet!!! They are EXACTLY the same (wrong) size as they were when we dropped them off weeks ago. At this point I've had enough - I called in to the store to speak to the unhelpful manager, who claimed "items don't leave the store unless they're altered" - which implies we're somehow lying and making this up? Why the hell would I put myself through this - we clearly needed these pants to be the correct size. She went on to say that she can't do anything to help fix the issue, as they "don't want to push their tailors" to prioritize our alterations job, and If we'd like, we can go in and wait another 2 weeks for a non existent tailor job or we can go to another tailor and have the work done. UH, if I knew all of this ahead of time, I would have absolutely gone to a professional tailor to have the work done, but we were told over and over at the customization appointment that the in house tailors are "experts" at working with the material, and "once we have your measurements in the system we can create the perfect fit." WHAT A CROCK. Please people - be warned - this fraud of a company clearly doesn't have their shit together enough to take customer service or their product reputation seriously. Maybe you should take a cue from Amazon and adopt a "Customer Obsession" leadership principle rather than your current sloppy half-assed methods. Big props to the manager on duty today (1/18/2020) for your extreme unhelpfulness, poor customer service and clear lack of urgency and concern for the product your company puts out. My fiancé and I have had a horrible experience with Indochino. He ordered a suit and the jacket fit terribly. The armpits were way too low, it fit horribly in the shoulders and just all around a poor fit. He brought it in to get it tailored and was told 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark he went in and asked where it was and they said " oh its next we are a little behind, we didn't email you?!?!" No they hadn't. 2.5 MORE weeks go by and it isn't ready, still no communication He emails corporate and suddenly it will be done in 2 days. When he goes back it fits worse than before and their response was "oh this is not fixable your fiance did a bad job of measuring" (insulting much). They remeasured and all of the measurements were within 1/4 of mine. They decided to reorder the jacket with new measurements and 2 buttons instead of the 3, their recommendation. Yesterday it arrived and fits as bad or worse than the first, with their "professional" measurements. It also came with 3 buttons when we specifically asked for 2 multiple times. We schedule an alterations appointment for 12, they called and confirmed that appointment last night. Today, they call back and say "oh we are really busy at noon can you come in another time?" We said no, we have been trying to get a workable suit since November. The suits are poorly made. They are insulting to customers. Lack all sense of timely work and communication. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. We found a better fitting suit on the rack for a better price. Save your money read more

I enjoyed my experience getting fitted at the showroom. The person who helped me was extremely kind and thoroughly explained the options I had. He also took his time making measurements (I think I spent over an hour getting fitted). I was very optimistic and excited for my suit. The website says 3-4 weeks shipping. Almost 4 weeks went by and my order status was still "In production." I was starting to get nervous. I emailed to ask about the status of my order. Without any response to my inquiry the status just changed to "Shipped." Seemed like my inquiries were prompts for them to actually ship my orders? I actually made two separate orders with Indochino. Both times I waited close to the 4 week mark before emailing. Both times were the same, no response to my email, just changed the status in response to my questions. My first order arrived (suit and a dress shirt). The fit was not great (sleeves were short and uneven, chest/stomach area felt tight, pants were long). In the moment it just didn't make me feel happy to wear the suit (didn't look flattering) and it was not very comfortable. The quality of the suit was ok, not great (even though I got a suit that's part of the luxury line). The thing that bothered me the most was the suit and the dress shirt smelled like cigarettes when they arrived. I had to have them dry cleaned immediately. I understand I could have had Indochino alter my garments to fix the fit issues. Unfortunately, there's just no time for me as I need the suit for an upcoming wedding (seems like people need to wait 2 weeks or more for alterations). I did not want to risk not having anything to wear. I understand I could have gone to a local tailor and they will reimburse up to $75. But I could not find any availability. I guess I just have to wear what I got. Overall, I was crestfallen by my suit not looking good on me, the cigarette smell, and my excitement going out the window. I was just done with all of it. Really wanted to like Indochino but I don't think I will purchase again. Wrote this email today. Two stars and not one because the pants look great. First, I'd like to thank you for hiring some staff that have been extremely helpful and who earned the 5-star review that I posted on Google for Indochino Seattle (downtown). The person that first welcomed me and measured me during our appointment was named Katie, who was very knowledgeable and service-minded. Unfortunately, I have not had a pleasant post-suit arrival experience. On May 31, I dropped my suit off to be altered (minor take-ins in the legs and arms), and was told that it would be ready in 3 weeks. When I called a month later, a different employee did apologize, saying the 3-week estimate was inaccurate due to the highs of wedding season. I expected this, having read previous reviews detailing other customers' experiences. No problem; 6 weeks from May 31 would be fine for a wedding happening September 14. Six weeks later, I called to check on my suit. The associate said it was on the "to be done this week" rack, and I should expect to hear back by the end of the week. Two weeks later, I called again, and the associate told me the suit was "on the tailor's table", to be done two days later. This was the only prediction that proved to be true, and I picked my suit up on July 29. Unfortunately, the suit did not look good -- it was too big, and too long. When I asked Julian (I think that's his name), the associate there for his opinion, he said "the fit is accurate; the rest is personal opinion". This struck me as a strange response for a "bespoke" suit company that, according to its website, is "passionate (read obsessed) about fit" and "encourage[s] unconventional thinking and creativity." I felt belittled. My reaction was further compounded by the fact that I am an androgynous woman whose body is not that of a man's. An "accurate fit" (such as the guideline that a suit's length should end at my first knuckles) has nothing to do with creating a fit that looks good on me. I called today, on August 2, to see if I could have the suit altered in time for September 14. Julian was on the phone, and told me the alteration would take 5 weeks. I challenged him, saying my last alteration took 8. He admitted that he was "stretching" the estimate. I therefore asked if my suit could be rushed, and his response was "No; if everyone asked for their suit to be rushed, no one would get them on time." While I understand his response, it again seemed inappropriately unapologetic, especially since Indochino Seattle underestimated my last alteration. I made sure to get my suit ordered in time for the wedding, and the only reason the 3.5 month timeline that I created will fail is because of Indochino. Furthermore, I found many of your responses to Yelp reviews where you assured the customer that their order had, indeed, been rushed to help fix assuage their frustrations. I was also willing to go to an outside tailor to meet the deadline, but because reducing the length of a jacket is such a huge project, the tailor was honest and told me that, for the price I paid for the suit, I would be better off getting another suit. Knowing that Indochino can alter my suit free of charge, and that you can indeed rush orders, I'd like to ask you to help me get my suit ready for September 14, ideally by September 10. I walked in and met Christopher Leow, who was dressed to the nines and helped me select three tasteful suits that will actually fit. I can't praise him or Indochino enough. He measured me carefully, spent time with me as I selected the fabric, waited patiently as I mulled over my choices and then processed my order. I don't review often, but was totally impressed by the Indochino business model, and level of customer service. Full disclosure: I'm the mom of the suit-buyer--who wants to go suit-shopping with their mom? Not my son. But the staff there was so pleasant, efficient, and delivered as promised. We walked in cautiously the first time, without an appt., booked one for a few hours later after we'd exhausted our options at Men's Wearhouse, Nordstrom, etc. Indochino was def the overall best value, and staff made the choices so easy. Who wants to spent a lot of time, effort, and money to find a suit, then wait for it to be tailored, and maybe it wasn't exactly what you wanted in the first place, etc....Indochino had so many choices of everything from jacket linings to buttonholes to collar notches...who knew? Loved how they used the iPad, took measurements, and son made his choices of various fitting details and fabrics, boom. The two suits arrived at home on the promised date and fit perfectly. Now he's styling! Also impressed w the workmanship on the suits and fabric quality. Two big thumbs up. Sorry to hear others had bad experiences, but for us it was a great experience. And they keep your measurements on file for future orders, a nice and convenient touch. read more

One of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. I lost all my suits before business school and instinctively went to Men's Wearhouse to re-up and I hated the way everything fit, just stock this, stock that, and the people measuring me acted like this was their first time. Jordan and Kat were incredible, walked me through the process, helped me pair patterns and colors, it was great. Jordan is a costume design student from UW and she worked like a pro, asked me detailed questions about my fit, it was great to get that level of specificity. ::Update::: Do not waste your time and money here. 3 times back into this place and the collar is still off, its now too tight and bubbles up right under the top button. You all seriously do not know a THING about "custom" made. This is the worst custom made job I have seen, and after 3 tries, I will NOT be coming back. Chris the manager there, doesn't want to credit anything back and there is a time limit to get your garments fixed (which btw if you all fuck up, you all should fix your fuck up period). Won't go back and if I do get these altered somewhere else I will send them the damn bill for the job that should have been completed and done since day one. You all are lucky I did not show up to this alteration appointments, because you all would have had an ear full. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Go somewhere that will get this right the first time. I'd rather pay double the amount to get this to fit right. So hope you all shut down and go away, because this isn't what you all advertises AT ALL. Just based on the reviews, this place clearly needs more training on how to measure and how to get it right. Ordered 2 suits for our wedding, and although the suit came out great, the interior button up shirt was HUGE in his neck area. The wedding was fast approaching and they said they couldn't get it done in time, but if we went to a different alteration shop they would put $75 towards fixing it. He ended up having to buy a separate button up from Macy's which worked just fine. A little upset since he had our initials stitched into the other button up that couldn't be worn day of. He went back to get it fixed and ordered more shirts. They are ALL still big in the neck and he told the associate at the time who was measuring it needs to be brought in more. Instead of listening he did a small adjustment. When you are a CUSTOM made shop. You have to be on point with your measurements, being off and having to go back and forth isn't what I consider good customer service. I loved his suit.
