At first I thought these guys were going to be a great experience but quickly found it to be subpar at best. Ordered three suits and shirts and they got the size wrong on the jackets. They fixed it by providing brand new ones but it took another 6 weeks to get. Purchased in the winter and then once it got hot I rolled up my sleeves and my elbow tore through each of the shirts because they were too tight and improperly sized. Went back to try and tie them a chance to make to right and they gave me a hard time about it. 2/3 shirts were torn and after a lot of back and forth they said they would replace two of them. I asked if I had to go outside and put on the third one so they could see it torn before they replaced it and they refused to replace it. Crazy that for as much as they charge and a custom suit experience the treat customers like this. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. I would never in a million years recommend Indochino for your suit purposes. They say that it's 'custom tailored to you" but they take generic measurements with lots of fluffy options and it's cheaply tailored to your rough specs in China and shipped over to you. I've been to those tailoring streets in China and these suits are like $50-100 at best. My guy got the worst looking suit ever upon arrival - it literally looked like he was wearing a diaper. We went in for a "fitting" and you have to make an appointment for these second fittings, but fittings can only be done during the weekday because weekends are reserved for selling suits. They gave a lot of excuses about the fabric being the way it is, or the tailoring is just the way it is, or that it didn't need tailoring. Look at the pictures and see how bad it is - they tried to convince us to walk away like that.   We got so much hassle about getting it actually tailored. We tried to come back a second time for tailoring because we got so many comments from folks at the wedding that his suit looked terrible but Indochino said it "looked fine and there was nothing they could do". I've never felt so helpless or enraged with a bespoke, retail experience. We're out $600 and it's final sale. I've literally never had such a scammy, terrible experience in my life before. Ordered 3 custom shirts and they were poorly fitted. Customer service simply said that how their shirts were and offered some alterations. After a few weeks, the altered shirts came back fitting so snuggly no room to move around, and shoulder was little long and the sleeves were too tight. I asked if the shirts could be remade but they just smirked at me. The whole experience was super awkward and uncomfortable especially with all the gaslighting I received. Learn from my expensive mistake and avoid this place. I wish I could give them zero star. At least at the end they offered to throw away the shirts to the trash where Indochino products belong. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Went into store to get custom fit suit for my wedding. Received the suit and it didn't fit in nearly every dimension. The jacket was far too long, like twice the width, too long in the arms, and just the boxiest thing I could imagine. Pants were high water length when I requested to the shoe. Shirt sleeves were like 3" too short. The post tailoring was able to partially fix the jacket width and sleeve length of the jacket, and the pants leg length. But the jacket was still far too tall and the suit fit worse than an off the rack untailored suit. The shirt was straight to the trash. What a complete waste of money. I had to get married in this ill fitting disaster because I was out of time at that point. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. What a complete joke of an operation. read more

Was told correct suit would be rushed and sent in 10 days. After two weeks no suit. Called the store and was told they are on vacation in China for Chinese New Year. (Yes, made in China.) Asked to speak to a manager and was told he would call me "tomorrow." No manager ever called me. Called back and talked to "John" the manager and was told my suit would be sent in about THREE weeks. This is 2 years late but the suit my husband bought and got tailored for our WEDDING.. ripped right down the crotch our wedding day. Not only that but the tailoring on the pants was totally off!! It was big in some areas and very weirdly sewn around the waist. Stitching was very poorly done. I would definitely not recommend this place. DO NOT get a suit from this location, especially if you're a woman. I came in a couple of weeks ago to get a "fully customized" suit for my law school graduation. It's not. Women's suits don't get certain "add ons" but don't expect a worker to tell you that because THEY DON'T check. They also do not know how to take proper measurements. Pants were way too big in most areas, jacket sleeves are short, and don't expect to button your jacket. I was very vocal about wanting the option to close my jacket during the initial fitting. that employee then decided to add length to my jacket (or at least tell me he was) and when it got to me it seemed to be MUCH shorter than he explained it would be. I was also very vocal about the bulge that the pants were giving me, and I was told that it would be fixed. However, when my suit arrived it was WORSE than the one I tried on in-store while I was getting my measurements taken!! They automatically lead you to the most expensive suit--which is wool and I very clearly stated I did not want wool because where I will be practicing law is hot (like 125+ degrees in the summer). Guess what I ended up with? Wool. Onto the complaints about the final fitting/alterations. I made an appointment for the same day because there were quite a few openings and I wanted to make sure I got my suit back in time for graduation. When I went in for the final fitting/alterations I was asked if I really wanted my jacket to have the option of being closed... it's an expensive suit, YES I WANT IT TO HAVE THE OPTION TO CLOSE, who doesn't? Then back to the giant bulge that the pants give, I was told it will always be there. He measured the area anyways (not sure why if he says it'll always be there). The only thing the pants got right was that it was almost the length I wanted-- I was then asked if that's really where I wanted my pants to sit. At this point a man walked in (no appointment) and was told his alterations would be done in 30 minutes-- lucky him. I then checked again if my pants were going to come with the side clasps he had to call someone and be told no because he didn't know either. So, at that point it's either belt loops or nothing for women's pants. After going over ALL of the issues (yes there was more than what I have listed) I was told a whole new set will have to be made and that means it won't arrive in time for my graduation. I asked about canceling at that point and was told no (at this point I know indochino won't actually pay for outside alterations because I've seen MULTIPLE reviews saying they will stop responding). If a whole new set has to be made why can't I just cancel? Y'all royally messed up. Your employees are not helpful, well-trained, or experienced. They are also extremely rude and do not seem to want to be there. I regret trusting the Google reviews. These ones don't lie. Edit: forgot to mention that when I got there for the "final fitting" I was told I'm "outside of the claim window" (14 days as posted on their changing rooms) I received the suit 4-5 hours before the appointment and I corrected him on that. . Got measured by them twice and both times suits are terrible fitting l. Sleeves are 3 inches too short and the pants are 2 inches too short. Waste of almost 3 months of time. Also on the second fitting they said they could not process the suit until tomorrow because their servers are down. About 3 weeks go by with no update. I call them a couple days because they never answer the phone. When they do they basically said the new order was never processed. So they took my suit back and had it for 3 weeks without ever doing anything with it and processing the new return. read more

Indochino is a chore to work with. I used them years ago and had a good experience. Then shortly after they switched their measuring style to a picture method, needless to say the pants were a catastrophe. After multiple revisions to the pants, and months after the event I needed them for, they sent me my revised pants that I had to go into a store to be remeasured for, they still fit terribly. I gave up and donated them. Recently a friend said they switched back to the old school measurements. I took my measurements at home and did it again at a local tailor (same measurements) then ordered my suit. A few weeks later I received my suit and it fit like it was made for somebody that was a foot taller than me and 50 pounds heavier. I tried getting in contact with INDOCHINO via phone and email and cannot get any correspondence back. I finally decide to dispute the charge with Amex. Go figure now they want to fix the suits. Again I'm in crunch time for the event I need them for and after I close my dispute with Amex they decide they don't want to respond to me again. Do not do business with this company. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! there are plenty of other suit stores out there that could offer much more better quality. They had to remake my husband suit for our wedding THREE times with HUGE mistakes. NOT just a small alterations, big ones. The first time, the suit was way too big(the third photo). It's two or three times bigger than his size. They confirmed themselves that it's too big to have alternations, they needed to remake it. Our wedding was getting closer and closer but we gave them a chance. The second time, the suit came like an off the rack suit. There's no customizations(the second photo) we required at all(the first photo). At this point, we just wanted a refund since neither of the suits they remade can be used. They refused the refund, but said they would keep remaking until it's right. The third time, the suit came correct, but definitely needs a few alterations on shoulders and arms. My husband went in. They didn't ask for his name, didn't make time, didn't ask what would he want to adjust. They didn't talk to him at all. He just took the suit that he won't be able to use for the wedding. We ended up go to a different store and ordered a new suit. Luckily, we still have some time. But I will make sure from now on that I will post on social medias, Yelp, and warn everybody online and around to NOT shop here. We are very unhappy and will not give up to keep telling people to stay away from this store. Here are all of my proves. Oh, and if you wanna contact the headquarter, they won't help. Had a good experience for my initial appointment on 6/14. The person who helped me was attentive and made sure all of my questions were answered and took his time. However after I received my suit in the mail, I needed further alterations and they told me I had to schedule an appointment for my 'Final Look' since it would be a longer appointment. Earliest availability was a week out which was inconvenient but understandable. However when I showed up on time for the appointment, the only employee there (different from original person) was helping someone else. I ended up waiting 25 minutes before another employee came out and started helping me. He was very rushed and spent a total of 10 minutes with me. Why did I even need to schedule an appointment for this? I mentioned I had a wedding in 12 days on 7/29 and would need the suit before then, so he let me know the suit would be ready in a week. Skip forward to a week later (Monday), I call in and they tell me it'll be ready in 2 days since they forgot to put an urgent note on my order. Skip forward to Wednesday, I call in and they tell me it's STILL not ready and that it will be ready on Friday. Finally on Friday I call in and they tell me that it is now ready. I pick up the suit and fortunately it fit well since it was the day before the wedding. Overall it started off as a great experience, but unfortunately did not stay that way. The poor customer service and lack of urgency made for a frustrating experience. The suit itself was nice, but I now know to avoid Indochino when shopping for a suit, and have been recommending friends to do the same. A huge thank you to Lucas at the fashion island location. My daughter is getting married in August and I purchased a suit in May. Whoever took the measurements for the suit (not Lucas) totally messed it up and arrived WAY too big. Lucas helped problem solve by taking the right measurements for me and making sure the remade suit arrived with enough time for any additional adjustments. The final suit isn't perfect and not entirely what I expected for a MTM product. However, if it wasn't for Lucas the whole process would have been a major fiasco and a total waste of money. This is not a custom suit shop and like other reviews said they take only basic measurements. The first red flag should be that your measurements are done by sales staff and not a tailor. When I brought my jacket back in to get fixed the salesperson said it looked fine so I took it to a real tailor who just shook his head in disbelief that the indocino staff thought it looked fine. First and foremost, this was my first experience with getting fit for a custom suit. I knew very little about the process and was beyond relieved to be paired with Kobe for my fitting. He made me feel very comfortable and kept everything lighthearted. I never felt like I was being taken or sold something I didn't need. He was very clear and direct but ultimately left the choices up to me. He has a very good eye for fit and style so I was thrilled to work with him. I give Kobe 5 stars for his service and beyond 5 stars for being open and nonjudgmental to a woman buying a suit. YOU ROCK KOBE!!! The reason for my 4 stars is the actual process takes a bit longer than expected and they cannot commit to a specific timeline of when to expect things. STAY AWAY. It's been nothing but bad experiences! First, don't come without an appointment. They could careless that no one was in the store and appointments were late. They rather stand around then help a new client. We made an appointment and came back-- dumb on our part should've stayed away. We came back and bought 3 suits. The measuring was fine albeit the manager has a lot of tude and his pants were I'll fitting every time he bent down he showed off his backside. The suits came in and were ill fitted. One pant leg was shorter than the other, all the waists were too big and then the other two pants were way short-- like high water pants. What is the purpose of a custom suit if that ish comes out like you bought it off the rack. We went back in to get remeasured... WEEKS later we go back in and the pants are still too short by 1/2 inch and the waist still wasn't taken in. fast forward WEEKS later we go back in and the pant legs were okay.. not perfect but the waist was taken OUT an inch... so had to resend them in. Our consolation prize for driving 35 miles 4 times is that they're going to mail it to us. There is absolutely no customer service, no price adjustment for the THREE different inconvenient trips on things that should've been done right the first time. Very disappointed in the overall experience we had here. My fiancé and I wanted to get him a custom suit for our wedding. We made an appointment to get him fitted and didn't get seen or even talked to for about 45 min. Then the guy answered a call & chatted for about 20 minutes while we were waiting to have him finish the appointment. This appointment should've been 15 min tops and it was 1 hr 30 min. Mostly waiting. Second appointment after we got the suit- same thing. Nobody even checks in to say they will be with you "soon". Even though we had to wait almost an hour each time. What's the point of having an appointment? Indochino needs to make some changes and have better customer service. I was really in need of an upgrade on my business attire and need new... well... everything. I went in and was barely greeted by a guy sitting on his computer. Took a while to even get up and fully acknowledge me. I told him what I was looking for and immediately was told "we don't have it" and he recommended suit supply. Never asked my name, never suggested custom ordering, alternatives, nothing. I was in there maybe 90 seconds. Felt like he just didn't want to be at work. Maybe a bad day? I told my coworker about it and he said the EXACT same thing happened to him. He was basically just blown off so this is clearly a common occurrence that needs to be addressed. So I went to Suit Supply, got an amazing personal experience with a real professional and as a result ordered 2 suits, 5 shirts, 3 belts, 4 ties and 2 pairs of shoes. I ordered my suit in May, and I had to find out from my groomsman in July that you ran out of the fabric that I ordered, after 5 of the 8 of us already had the suit. With my wedding coming up in October, I was told by customer service that the fabric would not be stock until late September, and would not be able to be made in time for my wedding. Why wasn't my suit ever made, even when you had my measurements on file? Your salesman at Newport Beach offered to "help" by telling me if we all wanted to match, we all needed to order new suits. What a joke. I was told to go to your online team for help. They said they could remake the suits in a new fabric of my choosing under your "fit" guarantee. All I have gotten so far is a wild goose chase and a waste of my time. I have needed to prove that my groomsmen's suits do not fit right (which I did by submitting pictures), WHEN THE WHOLE FABRIC IS WRONG! I have gone through all the steps to prove that the suits need to be remade. And with my wedding coming up in October, I have expressed concern that we will not get our suits on time, which has been met with more and more hoops to jump through. It is now middle of august and there is no indication that the suits will be remade. Please just refund all of us our money back so we can take our business elsewhere. The employees are unprofessional and do not want to be there. This has to be one of the worst run stores I've ever encountered in general. The suits arrived in a timely manner. I expected them to come to the store but they came to my address instead, weird for suits that need to be brought back for the "perfect fit". Nothing like walking through fashion island with a big box of suits. The alterations for two suits took 8 weeks. I was told it would be 20 days. When I called on the 18 day mark they said it would be another two weeks. At the two week mark, I hadn't heard back. I called and no one answered. I emailed the general indochino support and finally received a response from the Newport location. Their excuse was that the notification that the suits were ready must have gone to spam. I triple checked my inbox and spam folder - nothing. I voiced this and my displeasure with the timing and received the following reply: " Hey Jared, I am unsure why you didn't receive the email the system sent notifying you of your alterations being completed for this I do appoligize." yes - they misspelled apologize and just simply brushed me off. I don't know if Mike is a manager or just an employee but he severely needs some additional training. I thought this would be a quick, easy, inexpensive option and I was grossly mistaken. Had my groomsman and I use them to get matching tuxes for our wedding. On sale for about $500 / suit, I thought this the most affordable route to go while still getting quality. I did not get quality. During the fitting, I explained exactly what I wanted to the rep at the Newport location with them consistently saying "I got you..." to acknowledge he knew what I was asking for. In the end I got a suit that fit nothing like I asked for and it's so far off what was asked for they won't remake it or offer a refund (they don't do any returns, btw). They made a custom tux shirt for the suit which was supposed to be custom but ended up with sleeves halfway to my elbows (short) and swallowed me up like a XXL sized shirt (I'm an XS). It came back with all the wrong options I had selected and now my groomsman are stuck with the same crap shirt I made them buy. No refund whatsoever. They didn't get it to me when they said that it would arrive now it's another 2+ weeks to get final alterations that I'm not getting my hopes up towards. It's just a bad business model. Bad system. Bad idea all around to get your wedding's suits done through a company like this (manufacturing is overseas, btw, which is why it takes so long and they don't do returns). I ended up buying a much better fitting tux on Asos.com for $189 in total and will wear this cheaper suit to my own wedding while my groomsman wear the crappy custom tux I made them all get. Save yourself time, money and frustration and just go to Asos instead of this route. I went with my fiance for his wedding suit fitting and I'm really glad we went to Indochino. We had made an appointment for 6 PM but because they were swamped, they called to ask if we could move our appointment up to 5:30 PM. That was okay for our schedule, so we agreed and went earlier. When we got there, there were many groups there in the process of being fitted, and we waited for a bit after checking in to be helped. While we waited, we looked around at the suits on the mannequins and used that time to compare collars and pocket styles and discuss what we thought looked best. That bit of time on our own beforehand turned out to be useful. Once Brittany was free to meet with us and help us, it was a smooth and great experience. She brought us a coffee and started off with showing us the various color options, telling us which ones are popular and helping us narrow things down to a nice charcoal. She did the measurements carefully and when trying on the templates, she checked in every step of the way to make sure everything was comfortable and the desired length. When running through the customization possibilities at the end, I really appreciate how she went through each one and waited for us to decide - showing us examples on her own suit and helping us to understand every option. I thought a cool detail is that you get 2 lines of free embroidery inside the suit, in which we put our wedding hashtag. Since it's for a once-in-a-lifetime suit, I'm really glad that we got to have the suit customized down to every detail. Overall, just know that this is a busy location with many groups coming in during this time for wedding season. I would definitely recommend Brittany as she made the process fun, is very knowledgeable and gives great recommendations. We're both so excited to see the suit! read more

Such a horrible experience!!!! I wanted a custom made suite for my nieces wedding in July. In April I scheduled an appointment to be measured for a new suit at the Newport Beach store. The Measurements took an hour so I was surprised when the suit arrived a few weeks later and fit so poorly. The sleeves on the coat were WAY too long, the pants did not fit at all and so they said they would have to order a whole new suit. I had another fitting, same guy spent 45 minutes re-measuring me, no problem, I still had time for the weeding. A few weeks later a package arrived but it was just the coat, no pants. I called the store and they said they forgot to order the new pants. But no problem they would put a rush on them. I received the pants last week. just in time for the wedding but they fit as poorly as the first pair. No time to remeasure and re-ship so now I have to wear my old suits to the wedding. Two months, several fittings and they could not get it right. I will never shop from them again. I want my money back! read more

Walked in at 1:30pm on 12/31 ready to buy two suits. The sole employee wouldn't help me without an appointment (place was totally empty) and told me even if he helped me, a suit wouldn't be ready for a wedding weekend of January 29. He said something about being the only employee and a shift change happening soon; I think he just wanted to get out of there. So I walked to Nordstrom and bought a $1200 suit from them instead that will be ready for me January 10. Smart business y'all are running with employees who push money out the door. read more

The suits are made of mediocre quality, which is fine with me since I have to wear suits everyday and am often traveling, so it makes no sense to buy an expensive suit to have it wear out. That said, this past time buying a suit I went into this location. This suit was specifically for a wedding. The gal who fit me did not do a great job. Her recommendations for how it should fit were completely off - again, I wear a suit every day. To this end, after telling her how I wanted it to fit, once received, it didn't fit great. To exacerbate this issue when I went to go get this tailored I was told I would not be able to have this done as part of their "complementary" service and would have to do it on my dime. Mind you this is during COVID and the gal never told me I only had ten days to respond if something didn't fit. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with this experience. I never had an issue with Indochino before and have bought about 6 suits before in the past. This time will certainly be my last. If you are looking for a wedding, I'd go to Groom's Grotto or Bonobos. You'll have a much better experience. read more

Went in to get two suits for different occasions. Immediately was was greeted by a staff who's name was James. We talk for a bit and he encouraged me to make an appointment, which I did. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. This is not the place where you walk in a buy a suit off the rack. During my appointment, James help me find the perfect fabrics for my two suits. He then proceeded to take all my measurements and worked with me to help get me the perfect fit. DOING THIS ON YOUR OWN WILL NOT YEILD THE SAME RESULTS. Make an appointment and get fitted by the staff. After getting fitted, I order the suits and they arrived a little over two weeks later. Every thing was almost perfect except the length of the pants. I made appointment with James and we made more measurements, and after about two weeks or so my pants were altered accordingly and fit great. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK OVER A MONTH. But my suits fit perfectly and now my measurements are forever in their system. Do not just show up and expect to get a perfect custom suit in two weeks. Getting a perfectly tailored suit takes time and care. You have know what you want. Half-Shoulder, No-shoulder etc etc. James at Newport Indochino, in about 6 weeks, has perfected my look and has helped me customize the perfect suit look for me. I came into the Newport Beach Fashion Island branch of Indochino to get my measurements done for my pre-ordered suit for a wedding. Driving from San Diego, I was excited since this was the first time that I have a custom made suit for myself and was hoping to get some tips and learn about what proper suit etiquette was all about! Unfortunately I must report that my experience here was absolutely awful. I arrived 15 minutes in advance to let them know I have arrived and don't mind waiting. I wasn't acknowledged until 10 minutes after my appointment time. The lady working that day didn't introduce herself nor did she ask me for my name (only for my confirmation #). She asked me to sit down as there were other customers that they were still working on. I figured that she was only there to deal with appointments. I sat there well over 30 minutes past my appointment time. Unfortunately it was the experience was bad enough for feeling so silly to even have imagined that I would be learning about cuff lengths, tips on what makes a good suit, etc. I felt like I was taking her time away from her iphone messaging. I understand that every single employee is different, but she was representing the brand of Indochino! I felt like I wasted my money and was apprehensive that my suit would arrive at my house with errors. Thank goodness it arrived at my house okay, but I never felt such a lack of customer service, such a lack of manners from any store before. Unfortunately this was all a waste of time and money.
