I've been to this store twice and I've always had a positive experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I'll call in advance and they'll find the bundles I like, make sure the hair pattern and color matches, etc. I had purchased a closure from an Indique store in Dallas and it was not a quality closure. I wish I waited until I was back in NYC or sought advice from the ladies at this store about what I should do. I love that they follow up by phone to see how you're enjoying your service. A+ customer service all around. The hair is pricey but if you care for it, it will last for several installs. Worth it! (I wear their Pure Curly collection. Oh, and you get 15% off during your bday month!) read more

This place sux! Not only has the quality of the product decreased, so has the customer service. The store website (and door sign), says that they close at 7pm today (Wednesday). I arrived to the store at 6:55, and was told that they were closed and I could not purchase anything! Tired of giving my money, time, and loyalty to a business that doesn't value my commitment to them- despite their being better products in the marketplace! I drove from the Bronx to make it before they closed- as I have an important appearance tomorrow. I could have gone to the Bronx Hair Depot- and been treated better. I will not make any further efforts to support this business. read more

After spending $2676.48 in 2021 and $1354.31 in 2022 management at Indique only offered me a 20% discount on a new closure. I was even a loyal customer when Indique collaborated with Angela Simmons on a hair line. I wonder why she has moved on to Yummy Hair? I wish I could give zero stars. read more

I purchased a pure curly bundle+ closure deal for $700 and it couldn't stop tangling and getting bunched up especially the back of my head. I moisturized and conditioned so much and the hair was just dry, frizzy, and matted all the time. I had the hair in for one month and couldn't tolerate it anymore. I ended up taking the hair out and throwing it away yesterday. I'm very disappointed because this hair acted like cheap beauty store hair. I won't be returning, read more

Corene and Laura are nothing short of AMAZING! The store was nice and clean and Corene and Laura answered all of my questions without once making me feel as though I was bombarding them. As a woman making a purchase as special as my hair I want to make sure that I'm not wasting my money. ...now I can't wait until the install! read more

Indique Virgin Hair Extensions - Hair Extensions Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

So I'm updating my review because while I've tried other hair brands and companies, I always seem to give Indique a chance (especially when they have promos going on). The first week of Dec the Sea Collection had some deep discounts, so I took advantage. I brought 3 bundles of the Zen from the sea collection, literally within two weeks the hair is shedding so bad I need another bundle...here we go. Okay no biggie I kinda know the deal with the Sea Collection (it sheds horribly), I'll just buy another bundle to fill in where the hair is thin. I'm a Indique Rewards member plus I subscribed to the email blasts, so I received a notification that the Brooklyn Location is offering15% off everything in the store. Now if you've read my former reviews you'd know I'm not a fan of this location, the turnover in staff is high, I seem to pick the worst time to stop in because it's closed during the day, etc. So I have my reservations but it's on the way home so I stop in. Surprise, surprise, as I'm being rung up I'm told "oh no, the 15% off coupon can't be applied to the order because it's for first time users", I'm sorry where does it say that on the coupon or on the site?? "Oh it doesn't"........Crickets.......awkward silence.....okay. I still buy the hair because it's snowing, I'm cold and just want to go home at this point. It's been 7 days since I purchased the hair, I wake up to an email blast that says all Indique products in store are now 20% off..... 0_0 Now when I purchased the hair I was going to take a L and let it be but seeing that blast this morning made me feel like I was semi-hustled so I call Indique's client care service. While the rep was nice, she was ultimately no help. I'm always disappointed by this location and Indique's customer service in general. If anyone has any great recommendations outside of Lola's Hair, HairSoFab or Ali Express please DM me!! read more

I came in to buy bounce organic curl for the first time on Friday, November 16, 2018 because they were having a one day sale for 30% off. The clerk was extremely patient with me, answered all my questions, allowed me to touch multiple bundles, and signed me up for the rewards program. I left with two bundles of the bounce organic curl. I am very happy with the customer service I received. read more

Indique Virgin Hair Extensions - Hair Extensions Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I had such a pleasant experience at this location! For the last couple weeks, I've been searching for affordable yet good quality hair extensions. It just so happens that this location is walking distance from my job. I made a point to visit and check it out in person. I was initially greeted by this lovely lady named Kiame ( sorry for the misspelling). She was absolutely amazing! She was kind enough to show me the selections of hair I was interested in and the prices for each length. To top it off she even showed me the difference in the lengths along with the variation of colors the hair may come in. Overall, the customer service was amazing, but it's surely not enough to place $700 on two bundles of hair and a closure. I truly believe their hair quality doesn't match the price tag. read more

My hair journey paved in non existent wefts that lead me to Indique began three weeks ago. Being a realetively new working mom and a "natural" I sought the convience of a weave/extensions installment to enable my productivity throughout my daily routines. With the support of my husband, friend and sister, they implored me to papmper my self a bit as I was feeling a little burnt out and slightly depressed at my appearance. I wanted a change, a little sparkle to kick me back to life. Thus I began my search for a reputable hair company and stylist to complete my install. With my sisters reccomendations I quickly booked an appointment with a highly sought after weav-ologist whose booking slots were blocked out up to three months in advance. As if some unforeceable weave force guided me, I was able to book this weave-ologist for December 18th at 9pm. Triumphant at such luck, I began my search for a hair company with two weeks before my install appointment. How hard could it be, I had two weeks ... WRONG! Once again with my sisters recommendation I made the first stop on my hair journey of non existent wefts to a company called pretty proper hair. With a little over $400.00 dollars worth in hair purchases, I wrung my palms together in success. As days slowly progressed into nearly a week, I became concerned. With a strong background in business management, I've learned to check up on quality control not only with companies I managed but also others that I dealt with. I made a phone call to pretty proper hair inquiring on my order. The sales associate was unable to find my order number, however she was able to account for that problem with a response that my order had been canceled. What!?! Associate goes on to explain that the owner canceled orders at times and I should have received a cancelation e-mail. Naturally, I alerted to her attention that I never recieved a cancelation notice. Apologies served without further explanations and a limp suggestion to come to their store, left me in a very stale state. With a week and two days before my appointment, I squared my shoulders and forged on to another company; radiance hair reccomended by a popular stylist/youtube guru that I followed on social media. After careful review, I submitted my desperate order, e-mailed the company of my situation and prayed for an expedited delivery, four days before my appointment at this point. I hit the road of non existent wefts for a third time after an e-mailing stating that they required 3-10 business days simply for processing, order canceled. At that very moment I felt a cold sweat, was a weave that important? Could I go on? Were my visions of Beyonce like hair too lofty for a tired mom who'd lost the nerve to put her self first again... YES! I won't give up! That sought after stylist was booked past March of 2015 and I would not lose that appointment. Eyes glazed and cramped fingers I continued my internet search and found a salon in Midtown NYC that sold hair. Jackpot I thought, they also provided same day shipping, incredible my mind screamed. With crazed urgency I called this magical salon and requested an order... SOLD OUT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this can not be. Thankfully the owner suggested a reputable hair company called Indique. Holding it together, I went back to my serach and found this unicorn company. My stars...it existed. I investigated their website, made my selections and all my requests were OUT OF STOCK! Now I was cold... was this weave worth it. The road of non existent wefts would lead to non existent appointment tagged with a $25.00 late cancelation fee. Hopes at an all time low, I call Indique Brooklyn location and the sales rep tells me that they are stocked inside their store. Lovely rep by the name of Leona (I apologize for the misspelling) answered all of my questions about the hair options and prices. I made a note that I would be there the following day to purchase in store. When I came in I was meet with another lovely sales rep by the name of Stephanie. Price tag over $800.00 with a considerate and thoughtful application of a 10% discount that brought down the price to a little over $700.00 for three bundles (tubes) of pure wavy. I was finally off the hair journy of non existent wefts. My hair was installed and its lovely and worth the price, perhaps I lucked out with a good batch. I believe I will be back if hair is needed again. Indique saved the day! read more

make the investment here for your self esteem. loveliest time at indique, i'm so happy with my purchase and with the service

So.... Got new bundles and during the 1st install this hair is worse than my other hair after 2 years. Matted and very disappointed.

If I could give this a -1 I would!! I drove all the way from Long Island because the website says it closes at 6pm on Saturdays. I got there at 5:15 and the sales person tells me they closed an hour early for inventory. Although she was very pleasant (she didn't even have to open the door to inform me why they why closed) it is very inconvenient. If your doing inventory at 5 pm then why the hell are they also closed for an hour prior to that? Why isn't inventory conducted after closing hours like most normal businesses. Just a word of advice to the owner, if you are doing inventory at a specific time maybe you should amend your store hours. read more

The hair shed ALL over. The salesperson was so sweet however. She was honest about my mom and I chose hair that wouldn't shed/ sadly after a week I started a shedding like crazy. At first, I loved the hair so the very next day my mom and I took a cab to get another bundle. I should've waited a week to see if shedding would occur. The texture of the hair also didn't really match my hair as my hair was straighter than it, but it did look great. So sad this didn't work! read more

This location is still my favorite place to go, and Melisa is still the best at what she does. I almost always walk into indique confused as to what I want, and I always leave super happy and confident. Melisa is very patient and extremely honest. Trust me, she won't just sell you anything, nor will she have you out here looking crazy. She takes the time to give you exactly what you need. AND, she makes the BEST WIGS EVER! I couldn't even tell it was a closure! read more

After 4 months they finally agreed to give me store credit. I only could use it in the Brooklyn location. They were out of stock for everything I wanted. I could not go to their sister store. The clerk made me feel like I was bothering her for asking questions and only gave one word responses. Im afraid that this hair will also be defective. I had to spend more money to use my credit, smh. There was no compensation for the inconvenience of all this hassle. The customer friendliness was non existent! I guess that only applies to first customers, not those that hold them accountable for their mistakes. I will review the quality of the hair and hope its great, but overall, an expensive mistake. read more

I love their expensive ass hair! Lol. I want to complain that you pay too much for hair here and you can get the same hair for cheaper on AliExpress ... but it's not true. Their hair actually is quality hair that has blended with my hair, flawlessly!! Their Bounce is never on sale--and it's my favorite! This collection is by far the best "relaxed" texture hair I've purchased ...and I've purchased from everywhere! So yeah, the hype is real --and the girls in the BK location are super sweet (even when i ask them to open every container they have and let me find the lightest bundle lol #4 hair issues.) read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I've been a long time customer of this company and I must say that the hair Bounce Straight hair was my favorite and the most expensive hair on the line. I recently purchased two bundles of the Bounce hair with a closure and has the worst experience ever with your products and even some others that are have the price that I paid. There was Waaaayyyyyy to much shedding from the very start. If this is your top of the line hair, I am very disappointed, for the amount of money I invested in your brand I expected a top quality product. The hair was coming out in clumps and after one month of my installation the weave was sooooooo thin I had to redo my hair and throw out what was left of my closure and the thinned out bundles and switch my company for hair all together. I and very disappointed. read more

So after my last review the manager reached out to me and I went in store where they gladly replaced the bad tube of hair it was a issue with the bottom bundle causing the matting I have had the new hair for two days now and problem solved it's not perfect (What is) but it's 100% better and I am happy, especially with the service! read more

This is by far my favorite hair extension company, and I have been a loyal customer for the last five years. I was so happy when they opened up a location in Brooklyn. Laura helped me on a few occasions and she was very patient with me and gave me advice and answered all my questions. She was very helpful! Make sure you stop by and check them out. I started to walk around to get a feel of what exactly is bundle etc....now it was my turn & before I got started with Corrien I apologized because I knew I had tons of questions....She was more than helpful & willing to help me WHICH I TRULY APPRECIATE.....she broke down everything for me ...she made sure I understood what I was buying, how to take care of my bundle & pretty made sure I was straight.....I'm very big on customer service & I can say without a doubt this store knows the meaning of that word... read more

Ok so first things first, this is a review on customer service only, I have been a fond user of indique hair for a couple years now and have not had a issue. This year however thumbs dwn for indique I'm certain this is my last purchase with the company. As far as the hair I have no complaints I love it so I dnt mind the steep prices for the about "4oz" tubes they have to offer. How over customer service wise they need much improvement. So I made a purchase for pure wavy which I got 10% bday discount on , later that week I went to exchange for pure curly and also got another tube , except this time I came to find their was a 15% promo so I was excited first time I get a discount from this company. at checkout the young lady who seems frustrated to be at work says to me I can't get the 15% promo on one of them because I have the 10% bday discount. I asked if I can receive the 15% instead I'm not that greedy to want a double discount lol. She said no that I would have to get the 10% on one and 15% on the other. I really didn't make much of it because I was still getting a discount which indique has not done before. So I came back to make another purchase since my stylist felt I needed another bundle (*the longer the hair the thinner) and I caught another 15% promo I'm thinking noway I'm a lucky girl, nope not at all so the transaction came out $207 I have a credit line of 200 so I couldn't use that , I now decide to use my debit card but had a temp one because of jus open the account so their was no name, however I gave her my is so she can store my info with it. She wouldn't except the card and sent me to the atm , ok no problem except their atm only allowed me to withdrawal 70$ charging me $2.50 per transaction and $2 more on behalf of the bank fee $4 in total. I go back and ask if she can just leave it 200$ flat so that I can use my credit card which had my name. She refused so I had to leave without my hair and come back another day since she wouldn't accept my debit card either. I was annoyed at this point since I been a loyal shopper at indique. I went back for my third bundle on my day off work I tried going to Soho but it wasn't instock so I ended back in Brooklyn where I was received by the same miserable associate who seems as if she hates her place of work and made my purchase. However I ended up not using the 3rd bundle, didn't even touch it. I called indique letting them know I made the purchase 2weeks ago and have not touched it , she proceeded the conversation with we don't do returns just exchange within 30days. That just did it for me I politely said ok thankyou hung up and immediately turn to writing my first review on yelp and a poor one at that , on a company I once loved ironic.***********however ladies the hair quality is one of my top faves I would recommend to everybody and anybody but customer service horrid read more

Three days ago (Tuesday) I spoke with Tay, asking her about the product and her recommendation for the extensions I should buy based on a certain look I was going for. She recommended the Sumatra waves and asked me when I am looking to purchase and I stated Friday/Saturday (today). She replied perfect because we have that shipment of hair coming in Friday. On my way there today (Saturday) I called and was told they don't have it in stock that they are out of the hair I was looking for. I explained that I went based off of what she told me and had an appointment scheduled for the next day. They were unapologetic, and didn't try to work anything out to alleviate the situation that has caused me an inconvenience. The manager wasn't helpful as well. She was rude and nasty. It would have been my first time as a customer but there's no customer service, and no reliability and credibility of the people who work there. If you need something and have arrangements that go in preparation for a special occasion, don't go here. Save yourself the inconvenience! read more

I love indique hair. I buy the pure wavy with the closure. The hair is thick and has a good silky feel. I have never had tangling or shedding with it and can use the same hair for 9 months to a year. You can use it much longer but like other hair it starts to shrink after several shampoos. I did on one occasion get a closure that the hair felt very hard and stiff but it still worked out ok. When I went back and expressed my concerns to Paris she discounted my purchase. The staff was always nice and helpful. I am so sad that the Houston boutique closed. I am nervous about having hair shipped to me but I am going to take a chance with Indique since I have been happy with them so far. Indique please come back to Houston soon. You needed a better location and perhaps partner with an upscale salon like Chara Joyner's Canvas Hair Studio who has clients that will spend the money to purchase the best hair. read more

I got introduced to Indique Hair from my stylist. She recommended that the hair was better quality and would last longer for re-use purpose. I was always using the pack hair and it was working well for me, except I was spending a lot of money each month, when I could just invest in better quality. So I decided to go with the better quality hair. Since I work in the city, I decided to go to Indique hair in Soho to check out the hair before I purchased it. I was interested in the Wavy from the Pure Collection. The texture felt good and I was impressed. Long story short, I end up going to the Indique boutique in Brooklyn and purchased the hair. The associate was helpful and she showed me the Wavy from the Pure Collection. I got to feel the hair that was on display, and she also went and got a new bundle for me to see and feel. I was ok with the hair bec it felt and looked good. I decided to purchase the hair and got it installed the next day. A few days later, I noticed the hair started feeling coarse and tangly. I wasn't too pleased at all, esp since I read a lot of the reviews and ppl saying it was good hair, it don't shed, it didn't tangle etc........ NOT TRUE AT ALL, IT DID ALL OF THAT AND IM VERY DISSATISFIED!!!!!!!. I don't know if I got a bad bunch or purchasing it from the Indique in Brooklyn wasn't a good idea for me. Either way, I'm not happy at all with this hair, it didn't live up to my expectation or the reviews. I will not be purchasing hair from that particular location in the future....... #not a satisfied customer read more
