Husband & I had a couples massage today at Indio Spa. We couldn't have had a better experience. Lisa was wonderful getting things set up for us. I had Sara who did a fantastic job. Worked every area that I had requested & was so pleased with my experience. Best I've had. Even my husband was pleased even tho he could use a few more sessions to work on his lower back. Just got a massage from Brian. I requested deep tissue and braces myself. But he has the perfect pressure where it's deep but not hurting or uncomfortable. I swear even my face is relaxed. He was very careful to keep everything modest. Being a women getting a massage by a man, you've all heard the horror stories of a man being inappropriate (i even have a friend who said has he got a massage and the man was rubbing his crotch on her hand) I'm not super modest, as i am also a massage therapist. But i 100% appreciate Brian's mindfulness, and gave an amazing massage. Weather you're local, or on vacation here. I recommend making time with him! Daniela was a sweetheart the 2 stars are not because of her it's because of Cheryl H. When I booked a appointment I put my credit card as a 75 dollar deposit. I went in for my massage and it was amazing but I didn't notice at that time that the 75 were still on my credit card. I called on Monday and she said she would call me back and didn't. I called her back about one and half later to ask here about the 75 dollars pending charge and she said " it doesn't come off till you ask me to take it off". She was very nice when she was trying to sell me skin care but when I called she was rude and rushed me off the phone like I was bothering her! read more

Paid $140 for a 90 minutes facial...was it worth it? Sadly, no...atmosphere was very outdated however my esthetician's technique of facial was great but she did not know how to turn off the table heater which at the end of our facial I was very uncomfortable. However she did had the ac on for me because of it. At the end of our session, front desk gal name Lisa was quite rude. I mentioned about the table heater and she said well it's probably the heat left after turning off that's y I was sweating...I only went to this spa because of its convenience since I was staying at the timeshare and didn't feel like driving. Will I go back to this spa? No, thanks. I will choose a different spa with a better customer service and atmosphere. read more

I HIGHLY recommend getting a treatment/service at Indio Spa when in the area. The manager is so accommodating and her staff is great. I was in town for less than 24hours to see a concert and had time to kill. Took a chance and called seeing if they could fit me in for as a last minute service. The manager said please give me ten mins to get in touch with one of my aesthetician. She kept true to her words and called me back within ten mins and said come on in. The aesthetician was very friendly and I appreciated that she didn't try to push/sell products to me as I have experienced that at other spas. At the end, I asked if I could use their shower to get ready for the concert even though I didn't get a body scrub treatment (just a facial). The manager was beyond accommodating and let me get ready at the Spa and was not rushed out. Besides the wonderful treatment, my skin glowed post facial. The experience was relaxing and rejuvenating. They have the most comfortable massage table. The table was soft and adjust to my size perfectly. I struggled with whether to make this a 3 or 4 star review, so consider it 3.5. We were staying at the WorldMark, and my boyfriend surprised me with a one hour massage for our anniversary. He confirmed with me first before booking, so I was right there next to him while he called the spa, made the appointment for me, and gave them his credit card information to bill it to. I got there, and the lobby was okay - a little bright and not too spa-like, but fine. The woman at the front desk welcomed me and got me a cup of water while I waited and filled out the very brief intake form. My massage therapist came out pretty quickly, introduced herself, and went over some areas of my intake form (areas to focus on, areas to avoid, etc.) and I feel that she actually listened to me. The massage was very nice. She did not go so hard that it was painful, but she went hard enough where I felt she worked some knots and kinks out of me. It was really nice, especially in the middle of a late-nights, crazy Desert Trip party weekend. After the massage ended, I tipped the massage therapist in cash and then went to the lobby. The woman at the front desk was looking down, and I was in my happy post-massage daze, so I started walking out the door, when I hear, "Hello. Hello, I need to check you out." I turned around and the woman at the front desk was looking at me, smiling. I was a little confused - my boyfriend gave them his credit card info right in front of me, and I had tipped my massage therapist, so what "checking out" was left? I turned around and went back inside. She asked me what type of massage I had gotten, and I said Swedish, which was what my boyfriend had told me he booked and what I heard him book. (P.S. Wouldn't you know that?! You checked me in...) She said, "Balance?" I said I didn't know what that meant. Then she said, "Yeah, balance." (I know now that's what they call their Swedish massage.) I stood at the table while the woman spent an obnoxiously long time rifling through papers trying to find the paper where she wrote all my boyfriend's credit card info. No clue why I had to stand there and watch her rather than saunter back to my room all relaxed, but okay. Then, she couldn't find the paper and told me she'd have to take payment from me, which was stressful because I had no idea how much it cost, it was supposed to be a gift to me, and I hadn't brought a credit card with me. I told her it was supposed to go on my boyfriend's credit card, and that he had given them the info, and she acted surprised. I told her I was right there when he called yesterday. She kept looking for it, then finally found the paper. I still had to stand there as she tried to figure out how to work the iPad to process the payment (for a credit card that wasn't even mine). She couldn't figure out how to work the iPad, so finally she said, "Well, I'll just charge $95 to the card when I can get it working, is that okay?" Again, I didn't know the price of the massage (it was a gift - that would be tacky), and I was still somewhat in my post-massage daze, not expecting this ridiculously unnecessary exchange, so I said, "$95?" She said, "Yes, $95 is the cost of the massage." I said, "Okay, yeah, whatever my boyfriend told you on the phone." She finally let me go after that. The whole exchange was unnecessary, long, and really put a damper on the massage. My post-massage buzz was gone by the time I left, and I felt bad for how expensive it was when it was a gift and I shouldn't have known the cost of it. There was no reason for me to be involved in the "check out" process at all, and she should have gotten the payment information that was given to her the day before ready during the hour that I was in the massage, rather than waiting until I got out to begin looking for it and making me stand there watching her. And for massages that I pay [way less] for in San Diego, the check out process is easy as pie - I come out, they tell me in a soft, gentle voice how much I owe, I give them my card, they give me a receipt, I go on my way. For a $95 one hour massage, I'd expect the check out process to be at least as smooth as that. I'm torn whether I'd go back. The massage was good, but I feel that I lost some of the benefits of it because the stupid check out process stressed me out and annoyed me. read more

My girlfriends and I had spa treatments earlier this week. The facility is clean but fairly basic compared to spas that I'm used to. There's a small waiting area but no locker room or spa bath area. I was totally fine with that but wanted others to know in case you're looking for that. I received the Desert Duo and selected Milk & Honey body scrub & Balance massage from Judith. It was the BEST spa treatments I've ever received. Both services were heavenly! She took her time and made sure that my skin and body were completely nourished and rejuvenated. Just finished my prenatal massage with Anita. She was incredibly attentive to my aches and pains that come with pregnancy. She was gentle but got all knew EXACTLY where I needed work done. She was very compassionate and kind hearted and had kept mine and my unborn sister son's health and comfort in mind through the massage! She especially focused on my mid and lower back which Was my problem area. I've been coming to this resort for the past 5 years and had no clue there was a spa here! 3 Star for the Facility- We were hoping for a spa like experience with robes, and a quiet waiting area, etc.. The space is very small and we had to wait in their public waiting area until our appointment. Not too relaxing since people from the pool area kept walking in and out to shop. 4 Star for the Massage- The massage itself was great but save your money on the scrub, it wasn't anything special. We did a couples massage and both walked out missing that relaxed feeling you normally have when going to a spa. For the same price as a normal spa, I think I'll save my money next time. read more

I decided to treat myself to a massage for my birthday, but was apprehensive about having a male technician thankfully, it turned out to be hands down the best decision I'd made in some time. Well worth the money Daniel was A M A Z I N G!!!! I would have asked him to marry me but didn't want to get thrown off the property! His hands are like next level. Not sure who gave me a massage, I was never introduced. I requested, and paid for. A Deep Tissue massage, but it was not a deep tissue massage. I have had many massages and this was just a massage. When I came out I told the lady at the front that I had not received a deep tissue massage and she just kind of shrugged. Didn't want to be bothered with my complaint. At one point during the massage she was rubbing my foot over and over and over with one hand. Not sure what she was doing, maybe checking her phone. She had a towel over my eyes, so finally coughed so I could move the towel and let her knows I was watching. I told the lady giving me the massage and filled out the questionnaire my "trouble" spot, but it was not addressed. Too much foot and head rubbing, not enough deep tissue. She integrated my massage with a facial, so I was in for two hours of total pamperage. I came out relaxed and refreshed. My sweetie had a facial, as well - his first - and he also had nothing but great things to say about his esthetician. I had a great experience at the spa at Indio, Laura was amazing! I had my first reflexology treatment and I left feeling very relaxed. I also tried the hair/scalp treatment and wasn't much of a fan, it smelled great and left my hair soft but I also felt very oily and was expecting more of a face/shoulder massage along with the scalp. The boutique has cool unique items and jewelry at reasonable prices. If I return to Indio I would definitely go back to the spa! read more
