There is so much selection that I barely got through reading half the magazine titles. I love the cookbooks. I want them all! From keto to vegan, there's something for you. I still don't understand the need to wear reading socks. You can buy those here, too. My friend did manage to buy something. We waited in line a bit before she got to pay. All was well. There were plenty of Christmas items on sale. They were at least 30% off the regular price. Although it was busy on a Saturday, I can see it being a good place to unwind and read. This store is in a plaza where you need to pay attention to drivers who don't check their blindspots. I pulled into this parking lot at around 6 pm. I had to honk at a car that felt like backing out without checking a thing. When I left, a similar situation happened with another car. I already felt that this wouldn't be a store that I'd frequent often if I am fearing for my life trying to find a parking spot. Anyway, I backed into a spot across from the main entrance. I walked in. It does feel like the IGA that I used to frequent. It simply has Dollarama merchandise. There was lots of Easter merchandise. From chocolate Easter bunnies, to baskets for your treats, you can find everything here. One of the few items that you can get for $1 are one-litre bottles of Pepsi. There were many when I was there. If you are looking for mason jars, this store has cases of them. The catch is that they aren't wide-mouth jars. Rather, they have bottlenecks. If you're looking for the former, you're out of luck. I liked the colourful planters at this store. You can do some cool gardening and save some money by getting your supplies at this store. You can get seeds and soil. Done! This store does not have any self-checkout kiosks. I lined up at the checkout area that moved fairly well. There was one person doing everything. He was pleasant. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I grabbed my items, wished him a great evening, and left. It's a decent store. Poor drivers backing out of parking spots that scare me. (134)

My car takes text messages and reads them to me. This one said that all laptops worldwide were down and to not reboot them. It seemed like an ominous, suspicious scam, but maybe not. I took the next ramp off the highway, which was Islington. I do miss this area. I used to stay at the Delta. I don't know what happened, but the hotel looks like it's permanently closed. It's such a shame, as I loved staying at this hotel. Just north of this hotel is a plaza with a Walmart and Scotiabank. I pulled in and parked in front of this Dollarama. The emergency broadcast text was legitimate. It was from my employer, but it never stated that detail. I looked at the incident number in the text message and I recognized it as being an internal one. I logged on to my work e-mail on my phone and it was indeed a valid issue. Luckily, I was off from work. This broadcast text kind of ruined my not logging on to check my messages, but it would have been stressful trying to do work when you can't. Anyway, since I was parked in front of this Dollarama, I might as well go in and check it out, right? Right! This dollar store is decent. I saw mini Star Wars oven mitts that were cool. I didn't need any. If I did, I'd get the pair with R2-D2 and Grogu. I'm glad that I stopped by. I got sugar-free chocolate orange mints. I tried them when I got home and they are yummy. The candy aisle is extensive. I also needed cotton swabs. I got a package of 500. It's my first time getting them at a dollar store. I hope they are good. The phone accessories are cool. I enjoy looking at them. I also like the food and drinks aisle. I picked up a small bottle of Diet Pepsi. It's oddly priced at 87 cents. This store has self-checkout kiosks. I still like interacting with a human being. I got a nice woman who helped cash me out. She asked if I needed a bag. I didn't and saved one. I paid with my debit card. All done! It occurred to me that I needed to pick up some items here. I checked out this store. I normally don't go to a Dollarama at a mall. Chances are that it will be more crowded than going to a standalone store. I was right. This store is by mall entrance 9. You take the elevator down to the store. There's also an elevator if you need one. This store was pretty busy. I liked what it had to offer. Pepsi products greeted me. I liked the Mickey Mouse set with a whisk, towel, and spatula. It was cheerful and cute. The ice cube trays were cool. I liked the larger cube moulds. They were bright and had silicone at the bottom of each cube, allowing you to easily pop cubes out for your refreshments. The snacks and drinks aisles were impressive. I liked the variety. The chip selection was excellent. I came here for pasta sauce and macaroni. I found everything that I needed. I headed to the cashout area. There was one human cashier. There were roughly eight self-checkout kiosks there. I used the latter. It's hit or miss using one at Dollarama. Sometimes, it's smooth sailing. Other times, it seems to want to give me a hard time. Luckily, I was able to scan my two items and pay without any issues. I didn't buy a lot. I had parked a good distance away from this store, so carrying them wasn't an issue. If I had made a larger purchase, I wouldn't have been as happy lugging everything that far away. It's a good store. It's convenient if you are at the mall and need something.
