Update: Received communication from Indigo Park's Management that they had cancelled the Parking Notice on the eighth day. I parked in the Hanson Square parking lot because of its easy access to Calgary's 17th Street. I was super excited to find out that I could pay for a daily pass at $16, which would cover my lunch and afternoon event. Issues began: I went to the app and processed my daily pass. I received a confirmation that my payment was accepted at 11:48 am via email. According to my email, my parking started at 11:49 am and ended at 7 pm that day, which I would not have known if I hadn't requested an emailed receipt. After my events, I returned to my car around 4 pm and found that I had been issued a parking notice for $80 at 11:47 am that same day. Note: Fines increase to $110 if not paid within 10 days of receipt of the notice. Indigo threatens to tow your car if they don't receive payment. They state they will try to respond to disputes within 48 hours. I disputed my parking notice via email the same day. It's been 7 days since the notice was issued. I have not received a response from anyone at Indigo Park. I emailed them once more. I am waiting for a response. I received an email from Indigo Park Management. After they looked at my documentation, they cancelled the parking notice. read more

In spite of paying legitimately for parking and have a receipt from the machine to prove it, they still issued a ticket. When we disputed the ticket by sending the proof of purchase, there was no response. Beware of parking in any of their lots. Apparently, Calgary in particular is known for aggressive and illegitimate ticketing in their lots. read more

How can I give them -10! I parked on February 24, 2026 in Tawa center in Edmonton. First impossible to get through I had to spend over 10 min scanning qR code and having it just circle and errors. I finally get through pay for the parking for one hour then I notice 3 charges for same hour, same vehicle, everything same but 3 tickets. I email them Feb 25, 2026 the auto response said they will get back to me in 48 business hours with resolution. Today I have emailed and I have called to be told they are working on it and if I do not hear from them in a week to call back. Anoka at list she said that was her name responded I asked to talk to manager and she said that is not possible, I asked to get phone number of persons that is working on my case she said that is not possible. I paid my parking using Indigo's online paying system at 13:43PM, Saturday Apr 11, 2026, The online system set my default parking time to start at 14:00 PM. I tried tapping on it to change time but got no response. Since the weekend parking is flat rate, I didn't think it would matter and just proceeded with the payment. I was shocked to get a parking notice later, time stamped at 13:52PM. I disputed the ticket and described the situation to their guest service. Six business days later, I received a response from them that they were willing to lower the fine by 15%. Any human being with basic common sense should know that this ticket was wrongfully issued and should be canceled. Yet they chose the most ridiculous action. My car was damaged while in the Indigo valet at Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, and neither the hotel nor valet took accountability. I picked up my car after 19 hours in valet, and the tire pressure alarm went off before I even exited the garage. Staff at the entrance saw the tire rapidly deflating with what appeared to be a slash. Canadian Tire later confirmed the damage was consistent with a cut, not a puncture. Despite this, Indigo denied responsibility and Fairmont backed them, offering only "sympathy." We stayed 10 nights with Fairmont on this first trip to Canada, spending thousands of dollars. Sadly, the lack of accountability from both the valet and hotel management completely overshadowed what should have been a great experience. read more

On October 30, 2025, I went to ER at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary. Because I was feeling really sick, I parked my car in an Indigo parking lot, then I made the payment in the machine close to the ER. I got a $80 parking ticket. I decided to contact Indigo Parking customer services in Calgary to ask for a reconsideration of the $80 fine. There started a disappointing experience with Indigo Parking. The woman at the phone was rude, hard to understand over the phone, unwilling to help. She told me to send an email with my request; however, she gave an email that does not accept emails from the public. I called several times more but no help at all. I work at a place with Indigo parking. Despite there being dedicated stalls for our agency, our staff end up with tickets for $75 and more. Hence, the stalls are paid for twice. Indigo refuses to work with us. They also patrol the lot even their machines are not working. How convenient! Our clients literally cannot pay for parking but Indigo will ticket them. If I could give negative stars I would. Look, paying for parking is no one's favourite thing, I understand that. But I am ok to pay for what I use. Indigo parking are straight up thieves and take advantage of their customers. I parked in the Bankers Hall location in Calgary and arrived at 5:28. The fees there are $6.30 per half and hour and then after 6pm is a flat rate of $2. Keep in mind this is a ticket system where you press for a ticket and when you leave you insert it and it calculates. They charged me for a FULL 30 MINITED for my 2 minutes between 5:28-5:30 in addition to what I used. I communicated the mistake to customer service and they didn't care at all and didn't acknowledge that the policy is flawed. It needs to be changed. Especially as a ticket system it would be so easy to calculate right down to the minute of time used. It is appalling to see the lack of Customer service and I would be embarrassed to work for this joke of a company. Do yourself a favour and boycott Indigo. There are other parking companies that are WAY better than this company. I park downtown A LOT and always pay and I truly am so disappointed with Indigo. It's laughable honestly. Worst app ever. It is a dirty app in that it is designed to trick the user in to paying for parking when they advertise 2 free hours of parking. If you make a mistake in the app, it does not always let you go back to correct it. It feels like a money grab, con job. And this parking service is now operating in Marda Loop it just further erodes the sense of community that is operated in this strip mall for over 25 years. Received parking ticket even after paying for their parking services. Parked our car in the car park as shown to us in their app under our booking and beside the physical sign in the car park but we still received a ticket from the city. The ticket stated the exact same address as listed on our booking and their support was rude and terrible. I created a ticket with them, got not response in 8 days so followed up. Called in and was told another email address to reach out to but still no update after a week so called them. Djenny the operator was instantly rude before I could speak and was not helpful at all. I followed up the next day and was told that we should not have parked where we were they informed us to park in the booking. BEWARE of the rates!!! I parked and paid using their app. My lowest choice was for 2 hours at around $6. I got in the door of the building and happened to see their pay machine and it offered a 1 hour option for $3. The dollar amount wasn't the issue, but the fact that two of their systems for the same lot don't offer the same parking rates is inexcusable! When I go to my Dr. Appointment at Sunpark, Calgary I believe they Watch you park then slap on a ticket before you even have time to get inside and register my vehicle. Ticket was at 10:50 am and Dr.s appt was at 11:00. When I Mention my ticket to both my Drs office and the pharmacy they both said that Indigo was really bad for that. Then I had to call them and leave a message They call back but for some reason they can't hear me, then I had to call again and leave another message. When the lady called back she cancelled the ticket as she could see I had registered at 10:57. I asked if she could see I was registered then I probably didn't have to call in. I was told that I would be required to phone in every time this happens. I asked why I had to call if she could see I registered. Nope, nope their system does not work that way. I was at The Chairman's for dinner and entered my license plate number into their guest system. After dinner, I found a ticket on my car. I returned to the restaurant to learn Indigo seems to do this a lot with their guests, regardless of being advised of their transgressions. I empathize with the restaurant as in my experience in Calgary, they seem to impose their questionable authority to inconvenience legitimate parking clients. I got ticketed even though I had an active monthly perking pass. It told me i had to renew even though my pass expired in 2 weeks, so i did renew it. It told me it was processing and basically locked me out of their site saying under review even though it was active for 2 more weeks. I got a ticket, i sent an email dispute with all proof etc. Its been 1 week and i have had no responses whatsoever and the ticket doubles as of today. Convenient on their part. Everything about their site is confusing and designed to screw you over so that they can ticket as many people as possible. Its so shady with all the random pages they make you go through after you enter your payment information because you have to go through all of them before your payment goes though at all. I once even had the timer down 3 hours and the driver ticketed me, even though i paid before, and even showed him my phone that said i had 5 hours left. I have been dealing with a ticket that I received at Brentwood about parking in a restricted area, and it clearly doesn't show that in the signage at the mall. The person I have been dealing with is very rude. That day every car had a ticket on their wind shield and some came out and just threw the ticket away. Adding my 2 stars, not just 1 because the parking lot I use they generally keep in pretty good shape, but their "First-Class Customer Experience" is just imaginary. I paid my notice within the 10 days (notice on the 16th of the month, paid on the 25th of the same month) and they charged me the additional $20. I spoke a customer service representative, who was quite terse, and they ultimately could not help me because "no refunds" policy. Absurd cash grab. I asked who else I might contact (via email) to address this issue, and no response. Really a mind bogglingly arrogant company. I'd give it zero star if appiable. It is a fraud company which tries best to rob money by any chances. I accompanied 70 years mom to a clinic for x-ray located at 600 crowfoot crescent nw Calgary. There was no any signs about "private parking" or "car plates need to be registered" in the parking lots which is just in the front of the building. I remember it was free parking when I were there a few years ago. Then we were aheading to the clinic in a hurry as my mom was very sick. We don't looking around when entered the building, nor noticed there were registration machines . We stayed in the clinic for only less one hour and came out found a ticket of $70 on our car. It made my mom very sad. How could we be charged so much fine for just parking so short time especially there were no any signs in the parking lot about it and we are customers of the building! I tried to call the number on the ticket to solve the issue, but on one answered phone forever. I'd send complaint reports to related departments of the city of Calgary about the company if the problem could not be solved properly. It related to arbitrary charges and fraud. read more

Indigo makes a lot of money by delivering tickets to students who struggle to pay their parking lot at the university. Many students at Capilano University have to pay hundreds of dollars. It is a very shameful company with a poor customer service and no values at all. Try to avoid them if you can. read more
