Used to be a decent mall to shop at, but their recent parking policies and the use of Diamond Parking have made it a questionable place to visit. $83 ticket for parking, and the mall administration doesn't seem to care that Diamond is driving away their business... (I guess the mall's share of the ticket revenue is more important than having repeat customers) read more

I went to Sunridge Mall and parked at the Bay to check out the clearance. They had different time (11:00 am) than the Mall opening 10:00 am. Ended up walking outside the mall until it opened. Went in at 11:00 am and didn't see anything special. I left and saw a $83.00 ticket at 10:00 am. I saw the ticket agent and he stated I didn't immediately go in the mall which they define as walking off and had no recourse. I showed my video I was at the mall and went into The Bay. He said that was proof I "walked off" and pretty much was very rude. Went to The Bay to complain and the person I talked to mentioned even workers there got tickets and they couldn't help. Talked to mall administrator and they were just as jerky as the ticket agent. I will never go back to Sunridge again. I have shared my video with a lawyer of my interactions and he said it is tough fight as it private property and they charge anything they want. It is outrageous a fine is twice what the city will give Downtown. The mall is getting worse and this is now how they make money. I talked to people online and this is now common practice at this mall if you visit and don't buy anything you get a ticket. Even if you buy anything it has to close to the time, so if you stay at mall for 2 hours that isn't in the window and fine stays accordingly to chats I have. Stay far away. read more

It's Sunridge mall. The only major shopping centre for NE Calgary. Stores are average with no Gap, Banana Republic, Nordstrom, etc. Mall is semi modern and for some reason all sofa chairs have been removed expect for eight remaining in food court by fireplace. Food court is best part of Mall. Not my ideal go to shopping as you get more selection at Chinook or Market Mall. Overall last choice to buy things from in Calgary. read more

Put up some maps. For the love of god. I know it's a marketing ploy to get customers wandering around aimlessly buying things they don't need. I get it's good for mall business too though. Print a 8x10 picture that costs you 5 cents a piece and put maps for stores/amenities on it. Walking around with a family of 4 in search of stores was not a fun time. And for that reason we won't be back. This was a dirty ploy and I hope you change it. 3/5 as the stores were of good variety and the bathrooms/mall was very clean. 3/5 due to my first point. read more

This mall gives $80 parking tickets to patrons beware, I will never shop there again !

So after my freaky Marlborough Mall experience, I was a little hesitant to try any other malls in the area. But like a true yelper, I sucked it up and let my objective side lead me through the doors at Sunridge mall. Two words: Not bad. They recently renovated the mall and now it looks MUCH MUCH better. The crowd isn't as sketchy as that in Marlborough Mall and they have two floors of reasonable shopping. I definitely don't love this mall like I love Market Mall, but if I happen to be stranded in the N.E., I'd much prefer Sunridge to Marlborough Mall. The food court has a good selection, the mall itself looks and feels newer, and there's more overall to explore. Happy Shopping! read more

Driving into the Mall from the back side can be confusing with the turn lanes and the difficult sharp angles required to pull into the parking lanes. Super brutal. However, the mall itself has been updated and is 100x better than it used to be. They've done a ton of renovations at this mall and brought it from a run down lower class mall to an upscale, bright and clean shopping center. read more

It's in a ghetto part of town, but Sunridge Mall actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be. They lose a few points, however, because the old Krispy Kreme in their parking lot closed down..... Sunridge is different than some of the more popular malls and that works in its advantage. They have shops some other places don't and it's actually a big, bright mall with a lot of selection. This mall is usually my first choice of malls to go to since it one of the closest to my house. They have a good selection of stores to choose from. The one thing that sells me about this mall is Culture Craze. Its hard to find a retail store that sells good quality body jewellery without having to go to a tattoo shop. So every time I am at the mall, I always make a stop there to see whats in store. Its also nice that they have some stores close by that aren't normally in malls (IE: pet store, larger department stores) as well as lots of restaurants around as well if your not feeling the food court options. read more

I remember working in this mall when I was younger. This is a great place to go and do some quick shopping as it has a large range of retail store. It is anchored with a Zellers and The Bay. The mall recently renovated (about 7 years ago), but I can't say if it was for the better. The mall now has some strange entrance points, and a large blacked off entrance beside the shopper's drug mart. The mall, however, is well maintained and clean - for the most part. The people who go there range from the family type, to the extremely sketchy - but that is typical of any mall these days. I wouldn't suggest planning to spend an entire day shopping there, but if you are in the area and need to do some quick shopping, this place is perfect. read more

Good size mall with over 100 stores, considering this is way out in the burbs for where I'm staying in Dt lol. The usual brand names and an uninspired food court. But at least they have a decent breakfast at Cora's and Chucky Cheese, which we don't have anymore in Vancouver, sadly. bonus is there's free wifi. read more

I consider this one of the worst malls in Calgary. The service from almost every store is rude and unwelcoming. The store selection isn't very appealing. I like the food court though. read more

Oh coming to sunridge mall with kids should be avoided as there are too many restriction for kids in their play area it is better at market mall so if kids want to have fun definitely sunridge is not the mall for them so go shopping somewhere else. Sunridge Mall is a good place to shop. It can get busy so be aware of that but the people that work in the stores are usually nice and helpful. read more

Decent mall, it's my alternative to Marlborough mall. Nothing special about this mall I go here if I need food from the food court. For clothes and other things I prefer Chinook or Cross-Iron. read more

Back then there ain't much shop , last time I when back seems like they got renovated a bit , thats great cuz they do need some fixed up in the mall. My first time experience wasn't spectacular as this mall seriously lacks navigation tips. Signs would help when it comes to identifying parking lots and ways to get there! It has two levels and many stores, but no maps, screens or navigation aids that are easy to find. The mall is good inside with all the stores you would expect. It is not a major mall by any standard (i.e. no Apple Store, no flagship stores), but it exceeded my expectations. Mr. Charanek Barber Shop is not listed on yelp separately but I would like to give it 5 stars. Good family business and the son of the owner is a good barber and a gentleman. read more

I'd just like to let everyone know how The Bay in Sunridge Mall treats their customers. Myself (walking with a walker), my sister in law (walking with a cane) and my daughter had a nice day shopping. Then at 9pm the mall is closing and we make it inside the bay so we can get to where we are parked. We are parked in a handicapped spot on the top floor. So we take elevator up get to the doors and they are locked. It is 9:05 by this time. I ask a cashier to let us out and we're told no, we must go back down, go outside and walk around!!!!! This would entail a long walk, outside, uphill with no sidewalk, no lighting while it's snowing outside. I ask to speak to a manager. She comes back and says "no you must walk around." I insist that someone better come speak to me. I was told no 2 more times. So I just sat on my walker and waited till someone came. Finally an ignorant security guard comes giving us a long lecture let's us out "this time only". I was so angry that they couldn't have enough respect and customer service for 2 handicapped women with a kid. So I want to get the storey out how they treat their customers. Dan is going in tomorrow to talk to the manager about the incident. I was ready to call 911 cause I was starting to have a panic attack (my hearts racing, I'm starting to cry trying to figure out how I'm going to get us to my van), my sister in law was ready to pass out and throw up and we couldn't get out. What would the Bay had done if I was having a heart attack! !!! An ambulance couldn't have gotten into us? It made a horrible end to a lovely day that Bev and I finally had made it out of our beds. I know it's a long story but I'm so tired of people assuming that if you don't "look" sick, you must not be. Please share and make the Bay aware of this unacceptable behavior. read more

They have tried to keep up with other malls by putting in family washrooms and a nursing room. The nursing room is dirty, milk/formula all over the floor, dirt all around the change table, a chair for nursing that is ready to fall apart and should be burnt. I've filled out one of their customer complaint forms and talked with their guest services regarding this discusting excuse for a nursing room they don't seem to care, one of the cleaners I talked to in the mall says they can't clean it properly and gets lots of complaints too but it all falls on deaf ears! A child could get very sick from this room I will not return and I will not recommend this mall to anyone I know! read more

A decent mall, nice layout allows for wandering without being confined to specific directions. The food court is pretty good and in the time of this mall being new was probably the best layout of any food court in the city. As the mall has aged others have surpassed it, but not in the area, this is still the go-to mall of the NE. read more

i was at this mall today and was asked to leave the play area as my child had no socks and i didnt have change to buy them. so instead of giving me socks from the guest services which i was not aware they do in these sort of instances the guest services person asked me why i cant afford to buy them, then started to give me this condensending lecture which included "whatever" and "give me a break". Really this was the worst guest services person i have ever met. i went to the service desk to write a complaint and had to have security keep this power tripping guy away from me and my 3 yr old. yes over socks Never go read more
