To top it all off, there is an absolutely stunning garden on the fourth floor with ample seating and complimentary WiFi. I can see myself just posting up there and getting work done, reading a book, or just relaxing. Only downfall is that all the washrooms are on the fourth floor and with how the escalators are set up and small elevators, it can be a pain to get up there. There were a few escalators that were out of service when I visited as well. Overall, phenomenal shopping center that I will definitely be visiting often while here.

You'll get treatment you'll never forget. I went in on Friday to get my child's blood work done. I came early (5pm) as the numbing cream needed time. Walk-in was to start at 5:30pm.I was paged on my phone at 5:28 pm. I went in and went to the desk. I waited until I was acknowledged by the man in the dark green shirt. He was at the counter (no one at the desk). I explained I had been paged but needed some extra time for the numbing cream to work. He did not give any eye contact, shrugged his shoulders and was arrogant and passive aggressive in his replies. I politely asked for more time for the numbing cream to work. He shrugged his shoulders. He started getting red in the face, his body was shaking and he was shuffling papers. He got angrier and more agitated the more I asked questions, like "does the numbing cream still work if it has not been on the required time?" He said, "How do I know?" and "I don't know anything about numbing cream." Calmly, I told him I would return to the lobby where I was instructed to wait, and waited longer. No one came and got me for my bloodwork. A female patient leaving the office, came to get me. The staff and the other lady at the desk that the manager was with a patient, then that there was no manager. While I was in the lobby, the lady staff member came out with a lady not in scrubs. This might have been the manager. I took my children to the lobby to wait for our ride. I didn't see the man from the lab come down the elevator so he must have taken an other route. He sat in the lobby, texting on his phone. As he left, I told him his behaiour was unacceptable.' I have worked with problematic behaviour as a career, lol. He yelled back, "I am not working right now so I don't have to be nice to you" as he came close to us as he was exiting by the front doors. My daughter was frightened. There are fewer restaurants now, less variety, pricier too. My won ton noodle soup was $13, with 5 small won ton and lots of noodles similar to Ramen. Two of the Anchor store were closing, which doesn't bode well for the mall. High end stores like Rolex and Tiffany were very sparce, but that's normal. The mall has a nice feel and atmosphere. Might need a touch of modernizing, but not a lot.

Yes... you could be circling forever trying to find a spot. This is no joke. I got annoyed looking for a parking spot. I came here to try one of the food spots inside the Deerfoot City Lodge and OMG. If I add the cost of gas and the meal, it is definitely not worth it. The Deerfoot City Lodge is quite nice and open. There is a kid play area. Lots of seating and tables. They also have special events here and there. It is not a bad mall. Only issue is the parking. I guess you can bus or train here. But if you are shopping at Walmart as well then it is definitely a bad idea. Seems like there is a second section of the Lodge. Hopefully it opens soon. Looking forward to the food options.

Deerfoot City has done a great job with their "food lodge". It's open and spacious. There's a…read moreplayground to keep the kids busy, a giant fireplace, lots of seating, and the feel is nice and open. The only thing missing is the food vendors. There's currently only Opa, Chronic Tacos, a pasta place and maybe one other. Signs are up for a Poke place coming soon. The lodge just opened so I imagine it won't be long until this building is bustling with all sorts of different options.

Basically, just like every other BB&B, it's bright, stocked to the gills and filled with virtually everything conceivable that is homewares, linen, kitchen gadgets and so much more. I really can't comment too much on it, since it's the same at every one no matter where you go across North America (though I'm still looking for Christopher Walken to give me a magic remote control just like in the movie Click). I like going here from time to time, mostly to see what other type of gadget and tool is there to be had for my use, whether it be making industrial amounts of french fries to being able to make foie gras, halibut and bacon ice cream with their nuclear powered ice cream maker and automated car engine tuner. As for what's in the Beyooooonnndddd (echo echo echo), well, toys, discounted movies, candy and so on. While not exactly a great selection, the toys they do have are actually pretty tasteful and not the usual schlock stuff but something more high end (presently all kinds of Discovery Channel Kids science stuff, and I remember them selling kid versions of Night Vision goggles once or twice). Oh, and I do love the free demos of the coffee machines. While I own a Keurig myself, I find it so neat that I get ot have a ton of samples from the Nespresso and other machines, though they do get a little cross if you do try more than one...or six (sheepish look). Needless to say, I usually leave the BB&B pretty darn wired! Basically, this is a place I wouldn't visit often, but would be a place I would go to if I was doing a house or wedding registry and such.
