However, I have not yet received my order nor any indication from shipper as to when to expect product or how to track it, or even verification that my order was received by them from Splashwear (SW) and is in progress. I called SW to check on this, as the initial confirmation of my order did not include a timeframe. They seem to not realize that a customer might expect this kind of information, even if the product is being shipped from someone other than themselves. SW acknowledged being a bit overwhelmed, even while priding themselves on being a very small company (and offered to research my order and get back to me) - good for them, and I wish them success, but am baffled as to why there is no standard provision in their procedures for this basic information, nor apparently an understanding why, lacking this information, a customer might feel as though their order has fallen into a black hole. Covid short-staffing possibilities at manufacturer/shipper may be a real factor - but the apparently-standard lack of information seems like it would be fixable, once SW realizes that basic customer expectation.

The customer service at this store is embarrassing and there is zero accountability about timely delivery. THEN, we learned that the shirts aren't actually even made in house and instead the store owner simply takes measurements on site and then sends said measurements to a manufacturer in China and then you as the customer have to wait months if not an entire year for the Chinese manufacturer to ship you your shirts. They even tried to cover the name of the Chinese company who manufactures the shirts on the box but it was easily removable. They should be ashamed of themselves for saying that this is a bespoke custom tailor shop. VERY disappointed!
