Staff was amazing and they seemed to know everyone by name, including the pets! Very pet friendly and even have a few events throughout the year to include them. There was room to walk and let our dogs run. Pets do need to be on a leash inside the apartment complex, but we took our dogs for a walk and let them run in the fields next door. Maintenance staff was always fast to respond to notifications. Move in and move out process was painless. The apartment complex was a walking distance away from the baseball field which was a plus. Depending on where you were located in the apartment complex you could enjoy fireworks from the field right on your patio.

That kind of support really sets them apart. The space itself is absolutely stunning--full of bold color and personality, but also super versatile. There are a variety of photography backdrops that make it easy to create professional content or just capture fun moments with friends. It's really large inside and they can accommodate larger groups but they have smaller tables, bar seating, and outdoor seating too. We were able to bring our own food in, a whole cooler of stuff! I love that we can bring that in, it makes for whatever kind of experience you want instead of sticking to a menu. They have bar service and wait staff for drinks, a QR code menu, and table card menus with specials. I thought it was hilarious they have a shot of the night, it's so not the place I'd imagine taking a shot, haha. They have wine bottles for purchase and they serve it in a bucket of ice to chill. I opted for a bottle of rosé since they didn't have a single glass rosé. It was probably the best choice because a couple drinks would have been the same price as buying the bottle for $25. I ended up splitting it with a friend so it worked out perfectly.

The owners, Rhonda and Brian, have assembled a staff that anticipates your every need. Trash is constantly taken out, restrooms are freshened and reset, food service vendors are assisted as needed and everything is taken care of seamlessly allowing guests and family to enjoy their celebration with no stress or drama. The grounds are immaculate, the parking is plentiful and the venue space will take your breath away. A portable microphone was provided for the ceremony and a large scale projector and sound system was also available. I must say they do a great job with backdrops for the head table and first dance. My only note is that the group that was around 200, was still not at capacity and walking around in the room was a total nightmare. I would highly suggest less than 150 people in this venue if you want to be able to move at all! Overall though, great experience. I spent a Saturday morning there with a wonderful group of ladies, ranging in age from our 40s to 80s, and with crafting skills spanning from "I've got this" to "help me, please." The staff? Top-notch. Seriously. They were like crafting superheroes--swooping in with paint suggestions and design tips and even taking over when my creative stress levels hit their peak. And they did it all with a smile and words of encouragement. The store itself is a crafter's paradise. If you can dream it, you can probably make it here--flowers, bows, 3D words, endless embellishments. Me? I had my heart set on a Husker door hanger (because, well, priorities), and I pulled it off with the staff's help! We were there for about 2.5 hours and had a reservation for our group of six, which I'd recommend because this place was hopping. I spotted a few other projects I'd love to try... once my art anxiety settles and I start believing in my crafting abilities again. Until then, I'll admire my door hanger and look forward to my next visit to The Makery--where creativity meets encouragement, and even the most hesitant crafter (like me) can leave feeling like a DIY champion!
