We ate a HUGE meal for 2 of us for $36. Today I'm sitting here eating leftovers and they're better than they were yesterday. They have a dinner buffet on some nights but you may want to call ahead to confirm if that's your thing. Also, they bring you those little crispy guys with the chutneys before the meal for free! Free indian food is my love language. If I would have known about this I would not have ordered the appetizer but it was only $4 anyways and super yummy and I'm stil giving this place 5 stars because my new year's resolution is to be more positive. read more

This is my go-to carryout Indian cuisine! The food is always made fresh and I don't know what super powers the containers they use possess, but the food stays stove top hot even 30 minutes later! I have not had the pleasure to venture out as the Aloo Matar, Chicken Tikka Saag and garlic naan are sooo good that we always order the same thing. One added bonus of doing carryout here is they usually include a few extra sides for free as a surprise when you get home. I don't know if they are just trying not to waste extra food that may be on the buffet or if they are trying to expose me to some new delicacies to try on a future visit, but either way, it's brilliant marketing! The staff is always friendly, the restaurant always looks clean and I have never had a problem with receiving the wrong order or ever being disappointed with my meal and we have been ordering from here for 4 or 5 years now. There is not thing out of place in this small but excellent Indian buffet. Closed on mondays but lunch buffet all other days. Dinner buffet three maybe four nights a week. The only thing I can say bad about this place is that they don't put chicken vindaloo out enough, and sometimes the dishes get repetitive but it's probably cause I am there every week. read more

My mind was completely blown by Indian Bistro. Our first encounter was with catering for a party in our home. The food was good but the restaurant buffet was even better! I think this was as close as it's ever gotten to mom-cooked food at a restaurant for me. The spices were on point, the food wasn't heavily buttered and was packed with flavor. This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant! My husband and I love the chicken tikka masala. My husband always gets extra chicken in his and I always get extra chutney. Their rice pudding is very good as well and also the garlic naan. Staff is very friendly and they remember me. They have coupons available or you can use the frequent buyer card. So glad that they reopened. New location is ok, not as nice as the old but the food and service is still great. I like that they have kept a more authentic of India than most of the Indian restaurants in or near Anderson. Love not having to drive into Clifton to get our Indian food fix. We particularly like the saag paneer and the chicken makhani. My husband and I are chiliheads but find that usually getting a 2 (1-4 spice level) allows the great flavor of the spice mixes to shine. The special lunch buffets on Fridays and the weekends offer some great choices that you doen't always get at an Indian buffet. read more

Went for the first time to try the lunch buffet. The food was very good, for what was available. Everything was well seasoned with a better than moderate heat, did not find anything that would be considered bland. The only really down side to the experience is that the place is really small and the buffet set up makes it difficult to get to the plates then have to pivot to get to the food. When it gets busy you are literally standing in a crowd waiting your turn. Watch what you are charged for you meal. Sign on window says lunch buffet is $8.99, website says $9.99 and I was charged $10.99. At $8.99 a little high for Indian buffet lunch, at $10.99 overpriced. read more
