Love the loaded fries! Service is great and it's way too quiet in there! Definitely give this place a shot!

My long-running birthday tradition is getting Indian for dinner. Take-out, order in, anything goes…read more I wanted to try a new spot this year, so we dined in here on a Saturday night. It was busier than we expected, but it didn't affect our very attentive service. We started with a different appetizer than usual (for us), the Papadi Chat. A simple cold salad mix of chickpeas, apples, onion, and spices. We didn't really know what to expect, but it was tasty and something I could easily replicate at home. For entrees, we happily devoured 2 saag dishes (Chicken Tikka Saag and Saag Paneer), as well as Dal Makhani. I can't write this review without mentioning the naan. The garlic may have been one of the best garlic naans I've had - flavorful garlic flavor with so many actual garlic pieces adhered. BUT the star of the show was absolutely the Kashmiri naan. Do not pass this up!!! Maybe the best and most unique naan overall I've ever tried. Dramatic statement but true. Overall, this was a delicious birthday dinner and we will absolutely be back for more of that Kashmiri naan :)

Must try: Naan (any kind), saag bhartha, malai kofta, masala lassi. Something to know: they have on-site parking behind their building. It's a small and bit tight parking so be careful while entering and exiting. Service is always good and food comes out in reasonable time. Prices have definitely gone quite up since after covid. But the good food makes it worth.

This is a kitchen that cooks with technique, and pride -- and it shows in every dish. I ordered the garlic naan, chicken curry, and lentil soup, and each one hit a different high note. The garlic naan was exceptional -- blistered, aromatic, and clearly made in a real tandoor. It had that perfect balance of crisp edges and soft interior that only comes from fresh dough and proper heat. Easily some of the best naan I've had in Cincinnati. The chicken curry was a standout: layered spices, real depth, and a heat profile that felt authentic. You can taste the difference between a sauce built from scratch and one poured from a generic base -- this was the former, and it was excellent. The lentil soup (dal) was comforting and flavorful, with the kind of balance you only get when someone knows how to temper spices properly. Nothing heavy, nothing muddy -- just clean, well‑executed cooking. Service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience reinforced that this is a restaurant focused on quality rather than shortcuts. Grace of India is easily one of the strongest Indian options in Cincinnati and a place I'd recommend without hesitation.

But wherever we are in the world, if we eat Indian food- it is always compared to Grace of India... and it always falls short. It's a given we're going to eat it when anyone comes to visit. The family who runs this place are so kind. They adore children, even when they run around like crazies in the restaurant. Love this place! Love the people! The food is the best!!!

They greeted me upon walking in and took my order. I sat in the waiting area. No one else was there besides a couple that arrived a few minutes after me that was dining in. It only took about 10-15 minutes for my order. I got the Lamb Saag at a level 2 and Chicken Tikka Masala at Level 3, plus both garlic and paneer naan. I enjoy spicy food, but opted for the low end because this was a new place for me and I was going off of the reviews I saw. The lamb had nice flavor but wasn't spicy at all. I would prefer a 3-4. I let my mother have the rest because she was very fond of it even though she's not as open to different cultures cuisines as I am. I preferred the chicken. Very tasty to me. Again, level 3 did have a bit more spice but I would go even higher next time. Both types of naan were great. I would have liked if the paneer naan had more cheese though. When I'm in the mood for Indian and in the area again as I often am, I'd surely go back.
