Bhog presently offers a weekday lunch buffet in addition to its menu items. The buffet options included two types of biryani, Aloo Gobi, Palak Paneer, Pakora, Manchurian Cauliflower, Chili Chicken, Dal, Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, Bhuna Shrimp and a Custard with fruit for dessert. The standout items for me were the sauce for the Bhuna Shrimp (although there weren't many small shrimp left when I went through the line), the softly breaded Chili Chicken, which had a nice spice and peppers and the surprisingly juicy fruit in the custard. Most of the other buffet items were all solid versions. I didn't love their pakora compared to other places though. Service was fine, but not a selling point on this visit. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Bhog is worth checking out if you're in the area, although I prefer other spots in Hartford and New Haven Counties. 3.5 Stars
