Wooo Hooo! I finally got to ride the Incredicoaster (May 2026) because my son was tall enough (48" tall) to ride! From the rocket ship launch beginning to the loop to the rises and drops to the turns, Incredicoaster is one of the most fun rides at both DCA and Disneyland. As a bonus, you get a photo towards the end of the rollercoaster, which is always fun to check out. The only downside is the long line, usually. It ranges from 45 minutes to 90 minutes whenever I look at the app. If you are with other adults, then you can go the single line route, but that line gets long too. Overall, one of my favorite rides at the parks! Xie Xie!!! read more

This is probably my third favorite ride. The drops are not crazy drops like a Six Flags. They're actually enjoyable going upside down is really fun and it always brings a smile to my face too. Absolutely hands down the best ride in the park. We waited 35 minutes in line so it wasn't bad at all. We ride the coaster right at sunset so it was absolutely beautiful. The start is super great, the ride is steep, fast and very smooth. I highly recommend this ride and personally feel it's one of the best roller coasters in SoCal. read more

This is one of my favorite rides at Disney California Adventure. It's a classic! Disney does themes well. Waiting in line there's billboards throughout with incredible information. During the ride you can hear the characters. It is a if you are the parents chasing after Jack Jack , the baby. It's so exhilarating and fun! read more

This ride is one of the few rides in the park that gives u a thrill seeker vibe. Disney has a lot of kid rides and what feels like a few rides for adults. This one is absolutely fun for everyone. The line moves quick so prepare ur self. read more

My wife loves this ride. I am not really into that much rollercoasters but I do it for her. The line is always long for this one. If you want it quicker than you can go in the single rider line. I think our wait was 40 minutes. It goes by pretty fast. Luckily I have on my motion sickness patch. I was fine. It takes you up and down and loops to. Pretty fast and jerky heheh. I forget where the camera is to take you picture. It is really a thrilling ride. The coaster was called the California Screamin' before but they re-themed it with the Incredibles to the Incredicoaster in 2018. It reaches speeds of about 55MPH and is about 2:40 minutes. read more

We stood in line in the morning and waited about 35 minutes. It is a high-speed ride (up to 55 mph) that has twists, turns, and upside-down loops. Sometimes there would be a couple seconds of a break and then another round of twists and turns. The drops were fast and big and got jerky at times. After the ride I was a little dizzy and lightheaded but it was still one of my favorite rollercoasters I went on all day. One of my top favorite rides at DCA! Even when it used to be California Screamin where they had music going it was so much fun! With the Pixar revamp and the Incredibles theming it adds such fun details. For this ride it's over the shoulder restraints. Once the ride starts you go to the official start area where you're stopped, there's a countdown and you go 55 mph, to the side you can see "Dash" running by you on water. The different themes within the tunnels are fun with Jack Jack making his appearances. There's one main loop on the ride. Such a fun ride and you get a beautiful view of DCA whether it's during the day or at night when the lights come on in Pixar Pier. The wind feels as you're riding gives you the perfect endorphin release. read more

The only rollercoaster that goes upside down in all the parks - located in Disney's California Adventure! It is in the Pixar Pier area next to the Toy Story ride and the massive Mickey ferris wheel. Fun fact: this rollercoaster used to be called California Screamin, but they changed it to match the Pixar theme of the area. My 9 year old daughter was finally tall enough to ride it this year and she LOVED it - we rode it twice! Once during the day, once during the night! The rollercoaster theme is from The Incredibles movie and little details are added throughout to reflect it - you can even hear the character voices throughout the ride and line queue. The ride starts out at a stop, followed by a countdown that launches you at 100 mph it feels like. There are sudden drops, turns and even an upside down moment that makes this adrenaline ride one of my family's favorite rides! The wait on busy days is usually an hour or 2 so I highly suggest getting a fast pass on the Disneyland app if you can - they even offer a single rider option! They even take your photo towards the end of the ride which usually makes everyone laugh seeing how hilarious we all look - think of a leaf blower or vacuum in your face! The ride was fine itself just when me and my daughter were about to ride, they just had us go in our seats. Make sure we put the seat lap on and just let us go. They didn't check our seat. They didn't see if it was locked. They didn't have us pull it up to make sure it was still in place we could've died but what did they do nothing!! Even on a hot summer day this roller coaster ride was I believe one of the longest rides in Disneyland California side. This roller coaster looks like those old school ones where it would be like wooden frames but it is themed from the movie Incredibles. I did enjoy this roller coaster, just wish the line was faster than this. It was super slow. But when you get on it, it's fast and wild! Overall I enjoyed this ride though it was fun and some wind in your hair is nice when it is super hot and sweltering. read more

I absolutely love this ride! It's incredibles themed and they have this whole story of getting jack jack while on the ride which is super fun. The line is usually long but it goes pretty quickly. They also have single rider lines but they can't guarantee the wait time since they will only use single riders for odd number of riders. Even during busy times the line goes pretty quickly though. They then have your picture at the end which is nice. I enjoy this ride and my wife and I always take every chance to go on this when we can. Definitely one to try! read more

There aren't very many rides at DCA (Disney California Adventures) so if you're a thrill seeker, this is one of your must rides. The only downside here is that it does break down here and there, but that's typical of any Disney ride. L O C A T I O N Incredicoaster is the first ride you encounter while walking down the main area of Pixar Pier in DCA. You get a choice of Standby, Lightning Lane and my new favorite, Single Rider Lane. R I D E It's a pretty solid rollercoaster with everything you'd want: twists, turns, loops and a nicely themed Incredible ride. Don't miss the smell of cookies. It's one of the "faster" loading rides when both lanes are open. But of course if it's a full day at the park, everyone will be riding this ride so just plan accordingly. We didn't need to be seated together for this ride as we've done it before so Single Rider was perfect for us. It's pretty fun as you get to go up and down the elevators to be in the line. Luckily we did end up getting seated with each other. Just lucked out and of course just nice Disney Cast Members who knew we were together. Don't expect a gigantic group to get on the ride together in single rider. But if you're one or two, I think they're pretty nice about it. Be ready for the photo near the end. It's around the part when you kind of go up and down two hills. Also be careful for abrupt stops. Other than that, it's one fun ride. O V E R A L L One of your thrill rides and you do have to meet a height requirement. Go when the lines are short of course and take advantage of the single rider lane when it makes sense. Better than I thought! Don't underestimate the incredicoaster. It's located at Disney California Adventure, near the iconic ferris wheel. From a far, it doesn't look like it's worth the wait since the ride seem very short. But, this ride's got all the punches where it needs. I used to overlook it. However, I was hooked after one ride! Yup, that's all it took. The ride had good speed and loops. I don't think there are any other rides at DLR or DCA other than this ride that has a loop and goes upside down. I wish the ride was a bit longer, but still fun. Don't hesitate. Make sure you squeeze this ride in if you can! read more

I love how much they incorporated the movie into this ride! Every character was represented and had their own little section. The story follows the Incredibles trying to get Jack Jack. Of course they need to use their powers and the power of a treat to get him back. The ride starts off with a bang (or rather intensely fast start) the transitions into ups, downs and upside downs! There is a section that smells like cookies and colors to reflect what is going on in the moment. Smile near the end because your picture will be taken. read more

Fastttttt ! It's crazy fast. Super intense. Lots of twists and turns on this roller coaster. And it does go upside down. So if you don't like that, then skip this one. It starts you off by catapulting you from 0 to what felt like 100 lol It is so fast. And then you go through a serious of twists and turns. It is a smooth roller coaster which is nice. As a rollercoaster lover, I believe this brings out every thrill and expectation for us rollercoaster riders. In the shoes of someone who does not like rollercoasters, I can see this ride being very overwhelming lol (multiple deep dips causing major belly flop feels, upside down turns, rapid start in the beginning) Tip right away: There are no lockers and they also require you to hold your belongings. My dad literally had to hold onto life to his big backpack between his feet as it did not fit in the tiny net pouch the ride provides. The major dips and upside turns were definitely not it for people who had to hold on to their belongings. This rollercoaster definitely requires a wait as it's one of the bigger and lengthier rollercoasters but it is worth the wait. I loved the fun audio effects, turns, speed, etc. Incredicoaster is definitely one of my go-to rides at DCA. read more

It used to be called California Screamin' before is was themed after "The Incredibles" movie. My favorite part of the ride is when it launches from 0 to 55 mph in 4 seconds. There is an upside-down loop and lots of twists and turns. But the high speed of this ride is what makes it fun. The ride itself goes for about 2 min and 40 secs. I never think of rollercoasters when I think of Disney, even though I should. But the thing about Disney is that they know how to hide a rollercoaster in plain sight...except this one. This one is front and center and there is no way to miss it when in the park, heck, even outside the park. I'm always a sucker for a good coaster as well. I appreciate a chance to sit down and be thrilled by a fast paced ride. Once I'm buckled in I'm ready to go. I don't know much about this coaster prior to my visit besides what I saw on television and print ads. With that I know that a lot of people were less than impressed with this when it first opened. Not much else has changed with the layout of the coaster, but they have updated it to include The Incredibles. Once you are locked into the car your senses gets attacked from all angles with Incredibles. Screens, lights, and most importantly sound. The sounds are enough to distract you from the "take off." That is if you aren't paying close attention to the types of sounds. When in position, it's a countdown and then you are literally off. You take off at 55 mph, shooting your through a tunnel and making you feel like Dash is lending his speed to you to you to get your through the twists and turns before you return to the station. Throughout the rest of the ride you encounter the remaining family members who lend their powers to help you rescue Jack Jack. The whole thing takes little over two and a half minutes, but it feels like mere seconds and you are done with this ride. It is exhilarating and kind of refreshing when you been in the park on a hot day. We used the Fast Pass to get this ride checked off our list. It really is an amazing feature and helps you not have to stand in line all day. I know I'm not the biggest fan of this, but it's is almost a must in a Disney park. read more
