Well, last night my husband reminded me that it was an option... and BOY was it delicious. We've been to Taste of India before, and now I can't wait to come again after being reminded of their delicious offerings. We ordered two curry dishes (masala dal and chicken korma) and some naan to share, perfect for a dinner for two -- plus a next-day lunch for one! We also ordered the chicken pakora for our three-year-old, or as we told her "spicy nuggets," which actually weren't that spicy and she ate happily! On top of the yummy food, we also like the chill casual atmosphere that made us feel comfortable bringing our child. We will be back!

She also used those same gloves, which were covered in food and sauce, to bag my order. The outside of the takeout containers and bag was greasy, and after seeing how my food was handled, I couldn't get past it. I only ate a few bites before losing my appetite. I also got the pita chips, but they were extremely dark and tasted like old oil, as if they had been overcooked or fried more than once. We had been driving all day and were passing through, so I was really looking forward to a good meal. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and honestly grossed out. Our experience was the very definition of adventure. We drive up to an industrial building with little signage. As we drove around back we saw a "trucks only" sign. We pulled back around front unsure it was a restaurant, a truck stop catering to a specific community, or a mob front. Since I had my son and his girlfriend with me and could not let them down, I pulled my shoulders back, head high, and ready to do battle with whatever I was to face. What I was to face was an easy to read, very descriptive, menu board which made every dish sound enticing. The cashier/server was very nice, answered questions, and made sure to ask what heat level we wanted. Side note: the girlfriend said "Indian hot" and she chowed down. She earned a gold star for that one. Even my son who "doesn't like tofu" cleaned his plate. Any leftovers were loaded up and taken back to their apartment for "breakfast". Probably my favorite part of the entire meal was the spacing. Most restaurants pack in as many tables in hopes of getting more butts in chairs. For whatever reason there was at least 6 feet between every table. You truly felt as if you and your dinner mates were privately dining. I can't speak to the authenticity of the meal as I have never travelled to India. But, I guarantee this is the closest to Mumbai I've ever been.

More like a medium. Overall, will order again and adjust our heat levels according to how we're feeling.
