I ordered the red curry and Thai fried rice. The red curry was super spicy, and I didn't ask for it that way... I love spicy. But I couldn't even taste the curry because the spicy was so overpowering. And then our Thai fried rice, my daughter liked it... but she also douses her rice with tons of soy sauce. So the fried rice, way too "saucy", it looked like a mess. Really was hoping to find some good tasting authentic Thai food out here, but so far this and one other place has disappointed. I'm also not from here and didn't know that I would have the experience of not finding any good authentic food. I'm scared to try anything else now! Mexican? Go to California. Thai? California. Home for the holidays, my family is craving take out curry on a Monday night. We tried one Thai place but it was closed. Then we found Ginger Thai; thing is, now we can't even remember the name of the place that was closed. This quaint and unassuming restaurant blew away our expectations. Accommodating, friendly, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS and authentic Thai food (we enjoyed chicken pad Thai and one each of a "dry" and "wet" curry). We will definitely come back!! read more

Not bad but based on the reviews, far from what I expected. Tom Yum - Disappointing and consisted of almost entirely of onions. Pad tai- not bad but not great either. I love this place!! I come here invariably for dinner when traveling for work in cedar falls area. The décor is really cute and very personalised. I think they changed the servers recently ( in the summer there was a mother daughter duo and now I'm seeing diff servers) anywho, they've been great. Reasonably authentic tasting Thai food. The pad is ew and pad thai were both pretty good. Only suggestion would be to cut down on the amount of soy sauce. The Thai tea was also good and something different to try. Service was polite. Interior is a bit cramped, looks like a very tiny diner, with about 5 tables with seats for maybe a dozen people. No crowd, several young female staff seated at cashier area, and my food sitting there. The food is freaking delicious. The place is small, and it is not the kind of place with big stuffed leather booths and a giant fountain in the middle. This is a place clearly created by people who love sharing their cooking with others. You go there for the food and the friendly staff. And OMG it is worth it. You know, I sometimes hesitate to tell people about it, because I don't want it to get too crowded! The food is spicy with flavor, not gratuitous heat - and they will put the spice at whatever level you like. It comes bursting with color and deliciousness. I went to Thailand, and this place was better than 90% of the places we ate at there. We don't live in town anymore, but we always stop if we are passing through. The place is pretty small, so seating may be limited. But it's well worth it. Great place for Thai! read more

My favorite place in town. I have dined there about 5 times now and tried a different dish each time. I must say, I have a new favorite dish with each visit. Food is authentic, fresh, and well seasoned compared to most places in the Cedar Falls area. Warning: the curry is a bit oily, but most authentic Thai curry dishes are. There are other options on the menu with much less oil. 6 I lived in Chicago for over 7 years and had really great Thai dishes. Though this place does not compare to some of the best places there, it is still one of my favorite Thai restaurants I have visited. Add Garlic Fried Chicken Rice to Kang Karee (Yellow curry). We were surprised to find Thai food in Cedar Fall down town. Lovely little place, the food was good, the waitress was nice, they even have this "out door sitting area". It was so popular that people rolled in nonstop. The only thing you may want to be aware is that, if you have a bigger group, this place may not fit. read more

Was a little tough even on a Tue night Ordered Salmon with yellow curry (a special) which was very good. Their yellow is listed as a mild curry,be advised that their curries are pretty kickin'! I popped in while in the area on business. It's got kind of a small coffee shop feel, so you can easily come in with your laptop and get some eats while working, if that's your thing. Unfortunately the drunken noodles were pretty far from authentic and were pretty boring really. I also wanted a salad to go with my entree, but I couldn't get one because apparently they can't serve them without the owner being onsite, presumably because the employees don't know how to make them? Such a cute little Thai place off of Main Street! Emphasis on the little part though, only a few tables there but the turnover was really fast. I had the red curry which had eggplant and red bell peppers in it and was nicely spicy. A little oily on top but curry isn't exactly healthy lol.
