Firstly Bob Kocher was full of misinformation on the Greek Islands and Turkey Cruise. This occurred on 8/31/24 - 9/1024. This is the third time I traveled with him because I wanted to travel with a group of non-drinkers. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me a third time and I proved I am a fool and an idiot!
Multiple errors were made. Although they were small errors, this lack of attention to detail caused much stress and inconvenience. An example of this is while visiting the Acropolis on Rhodes, he bought only 12 tickets for a group of 13. I was left ticket-less and told I couldn't buy another one because the time slot was full. After much effort by our tour guide, I was allowed to re-buy the ticket I already paid for.
Additionally, there were several instances where important information was not communicated to me. He told us places in Greece would take American dollars. This was not true because they couldn't make change in dollars and preferred a card or Euro. I needed Euros for the outrageous tips he told us to pay guides and others. Instead of getting accurate answers to questions, he told me to read the email he previously sent. I told him I had printed out a copy, but lost it. I couldn't find the email on my phone. He never resent it even though I asked him to. I am older and prone to confusion when a lack of information leaves me unprepared and frustrated.
Given the nature and frequency of these mistakes, I began to wonder if they were intentional. It is disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism and care when making travel arrangements.
