First off I want to say that I had a really fun dinner with friends here. The patio had a nice breeze and it was shaded well, which i appreciate. Our server, Gentry, was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. I haven't been to this location in a very long time since I live downtown so it was fun to check it out again. Why am I giving this visit 3 stars? The food. Me and two other friends ordered the ITR large salad as our meal. It was $15. And I can't believe I paid 15 bucks for what was mainly a massive heap of shredded lettuce. There were some crunchy bits in there somewhat and maybe 3 tiny pieces of dried out shredded chicken and that was it. I have had this salad many times at other locations and it was always so much better. This was disappointing and frankly, a rip off. All 3 of our salads looked like this, not just mine. I'm not sure if it was the location or what but I'm not sure if I'll ever order it again which is disappointing. I included a picture of my epic mass of shredded (mostly) iceberg. Great night but disappointing food, especially for the price.

Used to be a frequent customer when we lived in this area. Still love the patio, gorgeous view, friendly service, unique drinks, and food. That view of downtown Tulsa is unlike any other.

Great food great service. This is Tulsa classic if you haven't been here in a while, give me another chance.

We like to go for their happy hour (2-5 mon -Fri). The sushi and appetizer offerings change from day to day so you have to ask what today's happy hour is. Always $2 domestics and $5 house wine. We had the BOK roll and the Restless Ribbon roll plus an order of edemame plus a couple of Miller Lites. Yum. Will do it again soon. And the view of the city adds to the ambiance.

All food choices are good here! Best sushi in Oklahoma! Gregasm is a signature favorite similar to the Carnival Roll. Spicy Taco Salad perfection.

What I like about In The Raw is that though it's mainly a sushi place, there's also a decent amount of other things to choose from. I also appreciate how the sushi isn't all expensive, and there are some rolls that cost less. The pricier rolls are worth it though, since they do have a lot more going on and the portion is bigger. My mom and I split two rolls- the g2 and the keaton. There was some kind of sesame flavored crunchy stuff on top of the g2 that was super delicious, and really made it stand out. I was also surprised with how many different flavors I tasted in the keaton roll, and the pink soy paper made it so cute and unique-looking! We also had calamari for the whole table to share. The texture and the flavor was great! I especially liked the sauce drizzled on top. It was a little crowded and pretty loud inside, but it almost helped contribute to this cool "in the city" type vibe that it had going on. This location is kind of on a hill, and the view when you walk back outside is really pretty, especially at night with all the city lights shining below!

The rice and teriyaki chicken is great for our small one. There is something on the menu for everyone. The wasabi and ginger on the trays are pretty good! I do recommend. We have tried more super sushi operations in Tulsa.. I hear some mention they won't eat seafood or sushi far away from the coastlines. That is totally understandable. Most are in fear of the food borne illness etc etc. We have been frequent visitors here. They also serve cooked and/or deep fried rolls; along with other hot food options on the menu. Hope y'all

Service was a little spotty at times. Our original server disappeared for a bit, but other staff stepped in to help, which we appreciated. They didn't have the fried tempura vegetables, one of our favorites, but there were still plenty of tasty dishes to enjoy. I should have done better with the pics, I think I got excited. Overall, a solid experience, and we will definitely be back.

Speaking of flavor, I'm sure the special blended soy sauce played a major part. On top of that, there's chili sauce at the table & that right there has a Shawn Michaels super kick to it. With the bowl being full of chicken along with the other components like fish cake, seaweed, bamboo shoots, green onion & a soft boiled egg (that's also flavored)... it's not even an overload. It's flavor on top of flavor on top of flavor. I couldn't even finish it & took it to-go. My waitress was super nice & the wait on my food didn't take long (they had a mini lunch rush when I got here). Outside of ramen, there's so much to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for ramen, sushi, bowls, etc... this is your spot. I was having a headache & really needed some food to help get rid of it (I was also in the area). Ramen usually does the trick & it prevailed as I started feeling better. Oishi came in the clutch.

From the corporate operations director to the manager on duty last night, I will NEVER be doing business or dining with them ever again. The manager last night flat out called us out of our names using language I cannot even bring myself to type. In short, all because we asked for our proper change and for our tickets to be reworked. Every restaurant and place of business can do that with ease. That shouldn't call for us to be disrespected. It makes zero sense. Zero. We were respectful, pretty, and paid! We weren't "loud, ghetto, or any (special choice of words)". So with that being said, if you're brown, we're not welcomed there!!! This holds serious weight. This did happen. This will be dealt with in the proper way and through the proper channels. I do not tolerate disrespect of any form.

It was crunchy on top, juicy in the middle, and perfectly cooked. The fried rice (instead of plain rice) was really tasty too. The veggies were nice. All together I loved this dish. My nephew enjoyed the lomi salad and took half of it home. We split the tempura bananas and enjoyed it. If you like funnel cake, you will like the tempura bananas. I can't wait to go back! There was a time when Dan and I loved that but now our sushi preference is nigiri and our roll preference is whatever is the closest thing you can get to nigiri. We also don't like signature cocktails. We prefer both our drinks and our sushi to be as close to pure as we can get: martinis and nigiri . We frequently attend Happy Hour at a different In the Raw. We find the service and ambiance better where we usually go. The sake at Brookside was not good. It had kind of a soapy taste. We got domestic beers for our second drinks. We forgot to ask for glasses. Service was slow so we just drank them from the bottle, which we hate to do. The main plus for the Brookside restaurant is the location. During warm weather, the outdoor seating is fun. We had a fun evening with our granddaughter and her wonderful boyfriend. My advice to diners is to ask for the Happy Hour menu anytime you go to any restaurant between 2 PM and 7 PM. This isn't the only restaurant that has a Happy Hour but doesn't promote it. Happy Hour here is from 3 and 5. They don't give you a Happy Hour menu unless you ask for it. Check out my Happy Hour list. There are claw machines at the front and back and sketchbooks with colored pencils on every table so you can draw while waiting for your food. The service is friendly - you order at the front counter and get a buzzer that buzzes when your food is ready at the pickup counter. The boba drinks are good. They have a decent selection of milk teas and fruit drinks as well as toppings. The boba pearls are done right, freshly made so they are soft and chewy like they're supposed to be. Once I ordered popping boba on accident (honey boba on the menu) thinking it was regular boba sweetened with honey and did not like it. They graciously switched it out with regular boba for me which I truly appreciated. My one recommendation would be to adjust the sweetness level if you prefer lighter drinks. The last time I visited I forgot to ask and it was a bit on the sweet side for me. I've also ordered poke and teriyaki bowls from them before and it was ok. The food was fine, it just didn't stand out to me. I usually come here for the drinks but would give the food another try given the good service and atmosphere. They have ramen, rice bowls, and appetizers like chicken karaage and kimchi fries. Overall I'd recommend Gung Ho as a solid hangout spot that's centrally located with good drinks and plenty of food options.
