This was a nice little lunch spot on the main Via Roma strip that's open during that midday break. It's very touristy in this area and the neighboring restaurants have all English signs boasting Tex-Mex cuisine, fish & chips London pubs, nautical pirate-themed places. We skipped all that and landed here, which while still catering to tourists, was a little less screaming of Americana and felt a tad more authentic.
We were sat in the outdoor enclosure with heating lamps which were a little too hot for the sunny day, but they quickly turned them off. Plenty of seating both in and out.
We wanted something light so instead of traditional pizza we opted for their focaccia flatbreads, one caprese and one prosciutto/arugula, which I honestly enjoyed more than pizza. All my veggies were fresh and that mozzarella was really good. The best part was the hefty drizzle of olive oil that soaked into that bread.
Definitely not a super inspired menu and pricier than most due to the tourist nature, but still a good place to grab a bite. read more
