This restaurant is absolutely amazing!!! The family that owns this are as friendly as you can imagine. Since this restaurant is one of many of this street, I decided to try this place due to the number of customers eating outside and inside the restaurant. I chose to sit indoors because I was tired of getting anymore mosquito bites and it was less quiet than outside. Stay down and ordered a nice birra (beer) and seafood pizza (ai frutti di mare). That pizza tastes like HEAVEN!!!! The amounts of flavor blended with the different types of seafood they put on it was orgasmic. Probably the best pizza I've had in all of Italy so far. Afterwards, I ordered some Ananas (pineapple) and that was sweeter than any pineapple I've tasted. My experience on the first night at this restaurant was too good that I came back the next night for some pasta (spaghetti vongole). I even told the owner/wife that I'll be back the next day and she told me she'll see me tomorrow. The amount of clams was just perfect and the seasoning on the pasta was terrific. Spaghetti was cooked just how I like it and a good amount was given on the plate. Since they remembered me the night before, they gave me 3 types of bread on the house, which was nice of them to do (actually thought I had to pay for it in the beginning). Later on, the son of the family asked if I wanted fruits again and I said yes and brought out watermelon. Once again, the fruit was as sweet as it can be. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant and the family members were great to talk to. As I left, they asked me where I was from and I told them Los Angeles and they associate it with South Central, which was pretty hilarious. Wish I can stay more days in Salerno and eat everything off their menu. If you're here or nearby, definitely give this family restaurant a try because you'll never get the same experience elsewhere, especially when I go back to LA. It's a must!!!!!! read more
