The last bite of bruschetta tradizionale and bruschetta crudo with the large Ross's Artigianale.

The food and drinks were delicious and the employees are very friendly! There was one individual who was able to translate for us which was a very huge help. I would definitely recommend a visit here while in Solerno.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local shop vendor who was not intrested in selling us touristy items but was intrested in us having an authentic experience. The pasta was excellent as could be expected for this region the portions were much healthier than in other restaurants we had recently eaten in. Bread was served to the table without us being charged for it like we were finding in some of the other more touristy locations. We got to the restaurant earlier than their opening time by about 30 minutes and they were accommodating enough to open up, allowing us to sit down and start serving us even though they had not officially opened this was a much different experience than we found and other restaurants who refuse to open their doors before official opening time. Because this is the famous pottery district all of their dinner plates were customized with the restaurant name which added to the experience in a positive way.

I got the lobster spaghetti and the appetizer with different kinds of seafood(I forgot the name). Overall, I was very delighted with my experience here, especially with Raffaele.

Excellent place for dinner! We went for a fairly early dinner and had called to reserve, but there…read morewere no customers when we arrived probably around 7:30pm. We ordered a pasta with zucchini, cheese and pepper (their version of cacio e pepe, if you will); black rice with seafood in a cream sauce (it's called risotto, but not what I'd typically call risotto); and calamari - everything was delicious! We also had a glass of their house red wine, which was very good. At the end of our meal, they gave us two small shot-sized glasses and a bottle of meloncello, which was a perfect way to end a great meal. It's a small restaurant with some outdoor seating, so I'd imagine it can get crowded later on, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! Also, the pictures of the outdoor seating looked pretty nice, but it's in a fairly tight alley, so we decided to sit inside.

It was not a girl (the girl standing there was quite polite and felt bad about her superior's distasteful tone)... The elder lady specifically disrespected me and dismissed me with a clear and emphatic look of scorn before turning her back on me, assuming I'm American (a crime?). An embarrassment of a hospitality owner or employee. I've been all over this amazing country and have only had wonderful experiences... including tonight at the place we went to down the street after this debacle. I was speaking Italian, so certainly no communication problem, and this rude old lady came in and said, "Table for 5?! Hah! This is not McDonald's," and walked away. Wow. Shame on them. Plenty of other good options. First negative restaurant/interpersonal experience ever in this country after coming here a dozen times over the past 25 years.
