This was a tough one. I love other burger places like 5 guys. This restaurant just opened and I was lucky the traffic was quiet. For $11, I got the double cheeseburger with regular fries and drink. I was teetering on three stars but decided to give the benefit of the doubt since I didn't try other things yet. The burger was fine, nothing special and actually rather plain. I was expecting some more flavor from the sauce and relish. The veges were fresh but the whole thing was just like if you made a burger at home. I'd even take some Big Mac sauce or mustard next time. Fries, oh boy. Definitely live up to the bad reviews. Seem like you ordered fast food fries and left them in the fridge overnight, then microwaved them. Really bad, and it seems they have a standard of making them this way across all locations. I was wishing I just got the burger, and went to McDs for the fries and drink! By the way, half+ of the drink was ice, so ask to omit that. Wasn't bad but I'll definitely try the Animal Fries next time, hopefully that fixes the dry issue. The shakes look good so I'll be grabbing one of those rather than a fountain drink. Flavors are more classic and include Strawberry, Vanilla, and Chocolate.

Great burgers, crappy fries are rather disapointing. These days I only order the burgers

You order at the counter and they give you a number to take to your table. So if you are new to this place, I would grab a menu and take a seat somewhere before ordering, if you haven't had a chance to look at the menu. My husband and I wanted to get a wide array of what was on the menu but we opted for the loaded street cart fries with a mix of sweet potato and regular fries and the OG gyro with beef and lamb mix. Because I wanted to try the chicken gyro I got the mixed meat for my street cart fries. They accidentally forgot to put it on my fries so I got it as a side. The food was really good, especially the sweet potato fries with a side of garlic aïoli. The fries inside of the gyro were pretty good, but I would but felt it was overloaded by other flavors. I also got a drink of a passionfruit Mezcal, which was nice and smoky. Overall, I would come back to the spot, but it is definitely not an everyday spot due to price point. It was around $52 for the two entrees, the drink and tip.

Sure it's 'fast food', but damn... You sure don't feel like you have eaten 'fast food'. The veggies are always fresh, and the bread nice and soft. I have never actually eaten inside, but the takeaway is just great.

When the drinks were handed to us, it didn't look right. We took the lids off and they did have light ice. I think they have preset fillers for sodas and because of the light ice, the cup was only 2/3 full of soda. We asked them to fill the cups to the top, as they should be. There was no issue with doing this and soon we had our full sodas, along with our meal and were on our way. The burgers come in a foil lined pouch so they stay hot. That is a step up from other fast food chains that have paper wrappings for their sandwiches. I got tots and my husband got fries. Both were hot and crispy. We asked for the spicy fry sauce and they gave us each a packet. Good food as always, just keep an eye if you ask for light ice in your drink.

So Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers tries to be like a Culver's/In&Out but I think in trying…read moreto do both that as a concept it just sort of fails. Freddy's is no where near as good as In&Out. I got their lettuce wrap burger and it was wild they gave me like an entire head of lettuce instead of just the normal 2 pieces. It was waaaaaay too much lettuce! I happen to be a big fan of Culver's and think that Culvers does a better job and the food is higher quality at Culver's. For what Freddy's is though - this was a good location. The teenage guy at the drive thru window taking our order was friendly, helpful and got all of our food correct. This location has a drive thru - which is clutch when you have kids. Overall I didn't really enjoy our food but that was more to be said about Freddy's as a chain than this particular location. In the future I'll just go to Culver's or now they have In&Out in Denver now!
