We've been living here for almost a year now and we enjoy it. The property is well kept, amenities are amazing, & I feel safe living here given that we're right in DTLB. The leasing staff are all attentive & helpful. The maintenance & cleaning staff are all so amazing as well, shoutout to RUBEN! There is another guy on the maintenance team that I don't have the name of but he's also been super helpful. They are very quick to fix any issues that we have, which aren't a lot. The only complaint would be for IMT corporate since they promised we would be getting a callback twice already, and that still hasn't happened. But that isn't the fault of IMT 421. Overall, we do enjoy living here and have recommended it to our friends! read more

I would like to begin this review by expressing my utmost appreciation for Jose. Over the past few months, there has been an unhoused individual entering the complex who has, on multiple occasions, been aggressive and appeared to be under the influence. Jose has gone above and beyond by intervening and assisting with the removal of this individual, even outside of his regular working hours. We truly appreciate his willingness to help and his dedication to the safety of the residents. Unfortunately, this individual has made his way as far as the fifth floor using the stairwell. This highlights a significant security concern: the stairwells are not properly secured. If someone is able to enter through the garage and locate the stairwell access, they are able to enter the residential areas of the complex without restriction. This situation has made me increasingly uncomfortable walking through the complex alone. Simple activities such as getting the mail in the evening, accessing the gym early in the morning, or even using the stairs during the middle of the day now feel nerve-racking. I have personally encountered this individual in broad daylight, which is especially concerning. Given the amount residents pay in rent each month, I do not believe anyone should feel unsafe or fearful simply walking through their own residential community. I believe IMT should be taking more proactive measures to address these concerns and should be seeking feedback from residents on a regular basis to ensure both the quality of the community and, most importantly, the safety of its residents. As much as we appreciate Jose and his willingness to step in and handle these situations, this should not be only his responsibility, particularly outside of his working hours. Management and maintenance should be regularly assessing the property, identifying security vulnerabilities, and communicating with residents about additional safety measures that can be implemented. I sincerely hope IMT takes this concern seriously and takes proactive steps to secure the stairwells, improve access control, and ensure that residents can feel safe in their own homes. read more

We lived at IMT Gallery from July 2025 up until August of 2026. I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about IMT. The maintenance team is absolutely amazing & is super responsive. Any issues we had in the apartment were resolved right away. The office staff is also super amazing, answering any questions we had. Signing for the lease was super easy & any issues we had, their team guided us step by step. The courtyards are always clean, never had issues with parking, I truly had no complaints. The only reason my family & I moved out of IMT was because we were moving out of state. Such an amazing place & amazing staff. read more

IMT Gallery is the best choice for living downtown. I have toured other properties and no one else has such friendly staff that pay attention to detail and keep the place clean and welcoming. I am especially grateful for how fast, accurate, and professional the maintenance team is. Mark from the maintenance team has been consistent in providing prompt service done right the first time. When I see him on-site he is always friendly, professional, and ensures everything is working to its hightest standard. Been here a few months. Facilities wonderful. Mark is amazing. Fixes things immediately very helpful. Nick is fantastic in lobby and very helpful to residents. Jose was absolutely amazing and helpful since the starting process. The staff are all exceptional. Did have one fire alarm blare which was scary but there was prompt communication. The only con I'd say is no easy way to get deliveries (all gates require a FOB which is great for security though). read more

IMT Gallery 421 - Apartments Near Me - Long Beach, California

I've been living at IMT Gallery 421 for a while now, and overall it's been a really solid experience. The property is well-maintained, clean, and has a modern feel that actually lives up to what you see when you first tour. What really makes a difference here is the management team. Jose, Nick, Drea, and Jen have all been consistently helpful, professional, and easy to work with. Anytime I've had questions or needed assistance, they've been responsive and genuinely willing to help--not something you always get at apartment complexes. Maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner, and the common areas are kept in great condition. You can tell there's effort put into keeping the place running smoothly. Location-wise, it's also super convenient, with easy access to nearby stores, food spots, and main roads, which makes day-to-day living a lot easier. Overall, I'd definitely recommend IMT Gallery 421 to anyone looking for a clean, well-managed place to live with a team that actually cares about residents. read more

PLEASE BEWARE. I have lived here for 2.5 years. The first 2 years, things were fine. Not perfect, but I had no major complaints. Over the last 6 months, this place has deteriorated and is worth far less than the premium prices tenants pay in rent. The garage doors are chronically broken, forcing tenants in and out of one side. The clickers work intermittently. The elevator breaks down constantly. The fire alarms go off constantly (4am, all day, etc.). The grills don't light up, so you have to call maintenance and hope you luck out and they are available to come help. Game room was closed for MONTHS. Pool and jacuzzi have been drained and closed for MONTHS. What, exactly, are we paying for? $2100 to over $3000 for rent and we can't use the amenities they brag about and shit is always broken. They are small things, but when they continue to happen over and over and over, you start to realize all those little inconveniences just aren't worth it anymore. Calling the office is a joke - excuse after excuse after excuse. They open at 930am. You get there at 936am and they have a sign hanging up saying they will be back at 1020am. How does that work, exactly? They take two hour lunch breaks with no one in the office. This has become the new norm in my "luxury" apartment home. I am out as soon as my lease is up. Don't let the surface beauty fool you - it's lipstick on a pig. Yohave been warned. read more

My wife and I have lived here for just over a year. One of the things we love most about living here is the office staff. They are friendly, approachable, and accessible. First of all, my family and I love living here, so much so that we have moved from one apartment unit to another in the past 3 years. As a SoCal resident for over 15 years, I truly know the pain of leasing/renting throughout the city and had my fair share of difficult and negligent landlords. However, this has to be the first time that I have felt seen, heard, appreciated and valued as a resident. The team, Nick, Jenniefer and Jose have been so wonderful to work with and the entire maintenance team is on point. They go out of their way every time to make sure that we are taken care of. They care to know that our home is comfortable and well maintained, the property is safe and clean and help things to flow, even with inconveniences as getting packages at times. This is a huge complex so I am always floored about how they make it all look so easy. Always smiling, ready to help and even offering fun activities throughout the year for their residents. We are so grateful to settle down at a place like this and hope to be here for years to come. Can't express how grateful we are for the IMT 421 team! read more

I never do Yelp reviews. But this is an extraordinary exception! I moved to Long Beach five years ago, and I've lived in four different apartment communities. This is by far the best! And what makes it the best, is their top maintenance person, Mark! He is amazing! Always immediately attentive to anything that needs to be fixed in my apartment; fixes it quickly, pleasantly and professionally. As you know a maintenance person can make or break your enjoyment in a living space. Mark goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done to perfection!! Imt gallery 421 is a good place to live. It's not perfect, but where is? Arthur, Mark, the rest of the maintenance staff, Caesar, the ladies that clean and maintain the common areas are all kind, warm and helpful. My only beef is the theft, since I've been living here I've had a 3k electric cycle, a hybrid mountain bike, mail and packages stolen. Overall, I enjoy living here, but am clearly still unhappy about my stolen bikes! read more

With the 3 years I've been here, safe to say we will saying goodbye to this place soon. It's a cool apartment, we've met some amazing people. However the alarms will ALWAYS keep you wanting to leave. It's excuse after excuse, with multiple things shutting down. The elevators don't get checked when expired. Apartment things that usually happen EXCEPT for the alarms. I've never been at a place that the fire alarm goes off almost twice a month. And multiple "check ups". The leading people, I know it's their job. It's not necessarily on them but I've heard better things from previous leaders. Rent raises ALOT. You can't put anything on your balcony unless it's outside furniture. You have to pay 5x5 $150 a month for storage, $50 in storage for your bike(s), $150 extra parking. They are always on your case. That's why I put 3 stars. I liked this spot, with minimal complaints I have about the apartment. Is it worth living here? Yes, but if you want to rent forever/deal with these problems of coughing up your wallet read more
