After going to the ER because it swelled out of the blue, I was told by the ER doctor I needed a total knee replacement a long time ago. Heard about the doctors at AZ Ortho and Jiffy knee replacement and made an appointment. Dr Adams did the surgery and I went home about an hour later. Got home and started my first therapy session on the ROMTECH bike. Recovery went quickly and almost painless. He stayed in contact with me during recovery. At my first post op appointment, they took exrays of my knee and I was good to go. Right knee.. drove five days after replacement. walked without assistance. My sister stayed with me the first night and I sent her home in the morning because I was good to go. Everyone at their office was friendly and helpful.

Michael Pappas MD has given her excellent care so I am able to recommend his services. They are well equipped for what they do as a whole. I will make one suggestion. Either make a very early appointment or get the first one after they get back from lunch. I doubt if you have to ask why but I will tell you anyway. If you don't, plan on having quite a wait to see the Doctor and don't be surprised if it is over an hour. I don't mind a reasonable wait but 90 minutes is quite a wait when you are with a 91 year old with Alzheimers. But then again, a wait of an hour and a half on average, I believe is to long for anyone. I really debated between three and four stars. I had three but Pappas really does a good job so the four is for him. Just make sure what time you get an appointment.

I was referred to this clinic due to hand and wrist pain that I have been experiencing. They asked a lot of questions, had me get an MRI, and ultimately they couldn't figure out what was causing the pain. Ok, no big deal, they ended up referring me to a neurologist. The problem is, the neurologist never called to set up an appointment. Additionally, I've called Dr. To's office at least eight times over the last month to get a status update on the referral, and have never received a call back. Each time leaving a voicemail because Dr To's medical assistants never pick up the phone. All I can say is that I hope I don't have a serious underlying condition because there's been a ton of valuable time wasted while I wait on this clinic to do their jobs.

Stefan Tarlow performed my ACL replacement in 2010. He was recommended by a friend who said his…read morebedside manner might put some people off but he did a great job. He performed the surgery. He did a phenomenal job. Absolutely minimal scarring and no lingering pain years later. I tore the ACL in my other leg in 2016, had forgotten Stefan's name or contact info and didn't go back to my friend out of embarrassment. I went to someone else that I found through my insurance company. He was so much worse that I would end up giving him a '2' in comparison If I didn't know how good it could be with Stefan I might have given the new guy a 4. Massive scar that split and then it got infected and he didn't treat it or reconnect it. Worse still is that knee is more likely to give me pain during exercise. Record Stefan's information in your contacts. He should be your first go-to.
