When I arrived for my appointment, the provider refused to see me because the medication wasn't one she had originally prescribed nor was it one she "prefers" to prescribe. Rather than explaining this to me herself, I overheard the conversation through the exam room door while she spoke with the medical assistant in the hallway. The medical assistant then came in to explain why I would not be seen. When I asked why the scheduler hadn't informed me of this when I specifically identified the medication three weeks earlier, my concern was dismissed. I had taken time off work, waited three weeks for the appointment, and still left without being seen. I left as soon as I was able to.

Unfortunately, my experience during my third pregnancy has been completely different. I have now been to the ER THREE times in the last two weeks due to ongoing and severe symptoms. Each time, the doctors treating me have strongly urged me to follow up with my OB as soon as possible. You would think that getting an appointment with your OB after being repeatedly sent to the ER would be a priority. Instead, I have called every single day and cannot get through to a live person. I am repeatedly sent to a prerecorded machine. I have also submitted multiple appointment requests through the website, and I still have not received a response or been able to speak with anyone. I am currently pregnant and trying to get appropriate prenatal care, yet I cannot even get someone to answer the phone or schedule an appointment. This is not just frustrating--it is unacceptable. Patients should not have to repeatedly go to the ER because they cannot get in contact with their OB's office. I have always spoken highly of this practice because of my previous experiences, especially because of how wonderful my midwife has been. That is what makes this situation even more disappointing. I truly hope the office recognizes how serious this communication issue is and makes changes, because pregnant patients should not have to fight this hard just to receive basic prenatal care

I have no idea if Dr Jagadish is a good doctor or not - I just know I haven't received any kind of service from the office. For someone in constant pain, it's very discouraging.
