After my initial consultation with Dr. Moore in December 2024 to discuss the condition of my arthritic left knee I was convinced that he was the orthopedic surgeon I should use. I had had meniscus surgery a year before from another physician but my knee condition was such that I would need a tkr. I believe I made the best choice. For my first visit to this facility, I had to see the doctor's PA, Carla Melendez. I thought that was fine because I have been in so much pain and had been previously advised by another physician that surgery would be the only thing to fix my hip. I've suffered for years with spinal pain and just found out my hip is in bad shape too, and added to the spinal pain, has been more than I can handle. Yes..I am overweight! Not something that I am clueless to, but because of that, she had already decided I was not worthy of a decent conversation to help me at all! She sat across the room from me with her laptop. I clearly made her uncomfortable. Eye contact was minimal. Her suggestion to me was to go see pain management doctor! She struck down any hope I had and made me feel disgusting! I had to wait for a note from her to give to my primary doctor. In the notes, it described a detailed examination talking about ROM etc. She NEVER ONCE laid a hand on me or examined me to even really understand my situation. I've worked in medical all my life, and never once made anyone feel unworthy for being fat. Hey..even the Doctor himself had to cruise through the lobby when I was waiting for her note. I suppose so he could get a LOOK at me too. Conclusion is don't go here if you're fat, they don't like helping fat people. read more

Dr Moore is a miracle worker!! He did total knee replacements on both of my knees in 2023 and just a few weeks ago he gave me a total hip replacement. I'm three weeks post surgery and feeling so good!!! Walking independently and loving my new hip!! His staff is AMAZING -so kind and they went above what they needed to, to work with my insurance. I used Dr.Moore for bone on bone pain and after. I was provided with expensive injections and therapy that did not reduce the pain I asked for a handicapped plaque. I was given one for 6 months but Dr.Moore refused to extend it, said he didn't believe in it. In my opinion He also lacked empathy. I do not recommend him. read more

Finding Dr. Moore was the best thing I could have done. I'd tried some other things to heal my knee, but there was no saving it. I was scared of knee replacement, but learning more about minimally invasive replacement eased a lot of my fears. The office was top notch and professional, but what was most impressive was how comfortable every staff member made me feel, like I was an old friend. Dr. Moore is very kind and compassionate, and he took time to address my concerns, including showing me the hypoallergenic knee he would use since I have trouble with metal. The surgery itself was fast. I was scheduled for 7 am and was home by 11. My physical therapist was astonished at how much flexibility I had four days after surgery--I was at 115 degrees! It's been 8 days now and I can walk without a walker. I know recovery is going to be much faster than it would have been if I'd had the traditional replacement. I'm so glad I found Dr. Moore! There's no getting around the fact a knee replacement is painful the first week or so, but recovery with this method is SO much faster! I highly recommend this practice for any orthopedic needs.
