Horrible! I took my wife's Volkswagen Touareg here for some electrical issues we were having. We were dealing with a bad battery drain and the car would not crank. They had the car for over 2 MONTHS! over that time I had to call them well over 10 times just to get updates as they would never reach out to me. They finally after weeks told me that the PCU needed replaced and I approved the replacement of it. Few weeks later I reach out again and they said that now there are other electrical problems which resulted in the coils smoking really bad. Logan then told me they would not work on the car anymore and suggested I take it to pick N pull and dump it.. I said fine Ill come pick it up. Few days later I picked it up after work on a Friday in the down pouring rain with NO help from the employees instead they all left the shop after I paid them over a thousand dollars. I got it loaded and got it home in the down pouring rain. Finally was able to look over the car see what they had done. Well I was pissed to find out they had broken my windshield in 3 areas! They also had broken off the driver door lock, and a lot of mold had grown in the trunk from where water was let in! The whole car was still torn apart as well! I took photos and went back to them when I was in town next and spoke to the manager. He denied any of the damages saying "Someone might have tried to steal your wipers and that's why its broken" Are you kidding me!!! He would not refund any amount for all the damages or admit to any of it. I am now in the process of trying to get a dispute on my card. Horrible service. read more

Horrible! Went in for a diagnostic on my infotainment system in my Range Rover Sport , on the lot for 5 days, when I picked up my car and paid the $600 bill I noticed the headliner was drooping exactly under the radio antenna, it was perfect when I brought it in. They told me it wasn't them, but happened due to the weather...????? No moisture, I keep it garaged, and frankly Springfield just doesn't get that hot and humid in January, not possible! I agreed to allow them to "fix it", brought in the next day and when I picked it up, I was in shock, they had actually made holes in the headliner and slathered some very strong smelling adhesive to the headliner, then it appears kept pressure on it for several hours. This destroyed the foam underneath, now the entire headliner needs to be replaced just to return it to how it was before I let them touch it. Unacceptable!! Just check out casenet and look at all the unhappy customers who had similar experiences. read more

Never go to import specialists. After having my car for over 2 months they installed 2 items and made the car worse. Before the car would die after driving some time. Now it starts up but after a few seconds it dies. On top of that they charged us almost 2600 for making the car worse and then I had to pay almost 600 for a tow service. Im very disappointed in the service I got! Will not come back. read more

They have been great to work with. Much cheaper than the dealership but most importantly better service. These guys are great!!! Ted and his team are wonderful!! I live in Texas but I was in Springfield due to a medical emergency situation with my dad. The thermostat in my Fiat went out while I was in Springfield. After hearing my story, Ted and his team went above and beyond to help me. They got my parts in quickly, got my car fixed way cheaper than I could have gotten it fixed for back home in Texas, and got it fixed in half the time that they originally estimated that it would take! IMPORT SPECIALISTS For pretty much all of my life, I have liked cars that had more style than my budget would suggest was appropriate. It's not exactly true to consider myself a starving artist, but the DJ lifestyle has to take certain tradeoffs into account. So, if it is up to me, I will always be sporting an extra stylish ride to fit my ego and self image, and it will probably be of the older variety so that I can afford it. In my younger days, I was the proud owner of 4 Nissan Z cars in a row, and I am now on my 2nd Mercedes Benz, both of them being 1994 model years. So take my word on it, when you drive a fifteen year old plus import, getting to know the right local mechanic is an IMPORTANT decision. I have had both good and bad luck with the Z's over the years, and mostly good luck with the Mercedes. It does help to start with a quality car, but all cars are machines, and machines need maintenance. Which brings me to Import Specialists. I needed some work done on my air conditioner, and according to my fellow Mercedes Drivers in various parking lots around Springfield, they are the place to go. Positive word on the street and online reviews were a good place to begin, but I went by in person to check it out for myself before I set up an appointment. This was definitely the place I was looking for. I have no interest WHATSOEVER in finding the cheapest asshole (can I say asshole on Yelp?) that has a set of wrenches to do anything on my prized Mercedes. I am looking for someone who knows what they are doing, someone that does quality work, someone I can trust for their skill AND judgment, someone's who's honest about the situation and fair with the price. Again, I'm not looking for cheap, but prices can get a little steep at some dealers. I'm willing to pay more for a quality mechanic, but I prefer someone who thinks of me in the long term. I'm not only looking for someone who can fix this car, this time. I'm also looking for someone who can fix all of the cars I own for as long as I live in this town. And I think I've found one. Ask any other European import owner in a parking lot, word gets around. Or just look for yourself like I did - it's an obviously tight ship. Frank, (one of the) owners is attentive and patient, the mechanics continuously re-train and get certified as Master Mechanics by the different manufacturers, and I am certain that the shop floor is cleaner than my kitchen counter. And as far as this specific repair, it came out on the low end of my estimate, my AC is back to being so-perfect-I'll-never-use-the-sun-roof-again and I was able to get in and out in less than my scheduled time. They told me to expect a couple of hours, but I swear it was only an hour and a half. I wasn't in any particular hurry; I just respect someone who can competently give me an estimate about time. Telling someone it won't be long when it's really 4 hours isn't being helpful, even though it's what they want to hear. I want to hear the truth, even if it's bad. My Diesel Benz didnt start so I called Import Specialists and spoke with Frank. (Great guy) He asked me a couple questions and told me the possibilities of it not starting. Took our BMW X5 in for an oil change and to get the sensor for breaks checked. The breaks were tight, no shaking when we drove or when we stopped, the only issue was the sensor. $700 later they replaced the sensor, replaced break pads with an inferior type, which was not the kind bmw recommended, and wanted $800 more for a bearing. We drove away and got a second opinion. The 2nd place told us no bearing problems because a sensor would tell us if there was a problem with the bearings and the reason it shakes now is this "specialist" turned the rotor on the wheel they replaced the break pads on. The 2nd opinion said all new rotors and pads needed and it had an oil leak, which they suggested bmw do. $2000 quote. They filled my oil to the top now the computer says it's too full and we need to take it in ASAP. Seems strange that the entire vehicle worked fine with no problems until I took it in here and got an oil change. PAY ATTENTION.... the vehicle drove perfect with no shaking when I drove or breaked until I drove it away from THIS place!
