She was quoted under $200.00. When she arrived at her appoint ment today. The office was incapable of opening the email with her x-rays and told her that will be another $200 plus. She will need to have the doctor look in her mouth for another $100 plus. So the cleaning will be over $550.00. We had used this office before with great results, and found out today the office was sold since December and have now policies. Ww will not be using the services here or returning. We have updated our local friends with this information. Take heed.

I'm a transplant from Miami, Florida and in all my life there, I've never "clicked" with a dental office and team like I have with Dr. Goslin's team. I did debate giving this review, solely based on selfish reasons, as there are no absurdly long wait times to be seen and the individual attention and friendliness feels as though the you're the only patient that matters to them. What impressed me immediately was that they gave me a full tour of the practice during my first visit, something I'd never experienced at a dental office before! This transparency made me feel welcome and showed they have nothing to hide. The office is immaculate, and their sanitation practices are clearly taken seriously. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was professional, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Wiese was thorough and took time to explain each step of the process. The x-rays were done efficiently, and the initial exam was comprehensive without feeling rushed. They clearly prioritize preventive care and patient education. Because Dr. Blanck and his amazing group make it so easy to love--it always feels like I'm at a spa. Full disclosure, I have been a patient with Dr. Blanck for a solid 22 years. The last 5-6 have been inconsistent but even when I lived in China, I pretty much came back to Dr. Blanck (sans insurance) for a cleaning and checkup. Reasons why I gush about him: 1. He is the calmest person you will ever meet. I remember when I was 6 or 7 and had to get cavities done, he made the entire process extremely comfortable. I was never ever afraid to put my teeth in his hands. 2. He always tells you what needs to be done and puts you first in any suggestion he makes. His recommendations are alway provided with sound reasoning but he always always knows that the end decision is yours and no one else's. He will never push for a procedure when it's not needed and certainly not to make more money. 3. His staff love him. That's all you need to know. They enjoy working with him, the office atmosphere is always friendly and family-like. He seems to choose the most competent people for dental assistants and technicians. Many for his staff have been there since I was in elementary school. Enough said. *side note on staff: I love them. They are an amazing group of people and actually take time to ask you questions, answer those you have and just plain give a darn! 4. He is just so darn sweet. 5. He has two office locations!! I could seriously gush about him and his office to you all day long but I didn't realize how lucky I was to have such a great dentist until recently when I got too busy to come up to vt for a visit. Long story short, although the work at other places may be decent, the quality of care and dental work itself does not compare to that of Dr. Blanck's. Because of that last time, I was lucky to have found this dental office, so I knew just who to call. They got me in first thing the next morning! On this visit, Nancy was warm & friendly as she took an xray & cleaned off my crown. Dr. Libraty confirmed that my tooth underneath was fine, & the crown itself was fine. Whew! He explained that over time, crowns take a lot of pressure & the cement can detach after a while. Thankfully, he just adjusted my crown & re-cemented it in, & I was on my way. Between my first visit & this second visit, I have come to really appreciate the warm professionalism of everyone here. Both Dr. Strong & Dr. Libraty are gentle & warm, & if I was local they would be my primary dental office. Again, I highly recommend!

We were…read moresitting in the waiting room, waiting to be called in when Sally McSweeney lost her mind, acted unprofessional and inappropriate because I had my mask under my nose. I was having a hard time breathing. I put the mask on, while trying to tell her I couldn't breathe and she went crazy, caused a scene & went to get her husband, Dr. McSweeney. Mask wearing is NOT a law, contrary to Sally's lies and false information. I have been to doctors offices, dentists and a hospital, none of which required me to wear a mask. There isn't one single place I go where masks are required, medical facilities included. This is a dentists office. Masks come off to treat children. They are literally inside children's mouths. I'm guessing Sally doesn't actually believe her mask and face shield work. I sure hope Sally & Tim McSweeney are masking up in their daily activities outside the dentists office. I hope they're wearing masks at the grocery store, country club, etc.. If not, this is all just for show. We chose to leave. At $5-6,000 for braces for each child, they just lost $10,000+ from us. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere and you should too. If Sally is this unhinged before we were even seen, I can only imagine how dreadful our entire experience would have been at McSweeneys.

One of my children was a devoted thumb sucker and was a hard case. Dr. McSweeney never gave up, was never intimidated by the situation and was so determined to provide her with perfection. My other child broke their jaw and was attacked by a dog all while wearing braces which complicated and prolonged the treatment. Dr. McSweeney took it all in stride and has continued to deliver amazing results. His staff is super accommodating with appointments, school and athletic schedules, flaky teenagers, less than perfect use of elastics & teeth brushing, etc. They are kind, thoughtful and patient people who are devoted to their work and their patients. I would go back to them 1000 times over and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great orthodontic provider!
