I'm loving what Joey did and little does he know, we are now in a committed relationship lol as he's my guy now.

Mike was at Tom's for years, then he bought that business, then he moved to a new location. Anyway, I go the best haircut in years after trying many in the Spokane and Spokane Valley area. Reasonable prices and good service. Walk-in instead of appointment only which is great. Men give Mike a try and you will not be sorry. The gals there also give a very good cut.

My kid is NOT a fan of haircuts, but David took to it like a champ. This time was better, after my kid ran out of tears and snot, we convinced him it 'wasn't that bad' to have a haircut. David is sooooo patient and understanding. He's a good ol' boy playing rock music and loving his neighbors. Holy cow it's like a giant family, all of the customers he has. He knows everyone by name, they all love him. Here's what I loved as a mom: this is a family friendly place. You won't find posters of half naked women anywhere, just good ol Americana and a cat or dog depending on the day. He has nice hot towels when you're done. It's a hole in the wall place, not anything fancy at all. No appointments, but he'll put your name on 'the list' and you can show up when you need to. We love this place.

WHO TURNS AWAY A ONE YEAR OLD FOR THEIR FIRST HAIRCUT?? I took my 1 year old son to Regal for his…read morefirst haircut because I remember my childhood barber and I thought this could be a great place. I couldn't have been more wrong! Our appointment was at 0900 and we walked through the door at 0910. There were three stylists sitting around and one man in a chair getting his hair cut. Yes we were a bit late but, I have a one year old. The short-haired woman at the front desk, I believe her name was Johnah, told us we were more than 10 minutes late and would have to reschedule. I looked at my phone and it said 0911. I was so shocked at her attitude I had no idea what to say. The place was EMPTY and people were sitting around but she said we have people lined up back to back. You couldn't cut a 1 year old's hair in a couple minutes? I left but then called and asked who the owner/manager was and the same person was evasive, ultimately admitting she was the one that told us to reschedule because we're one minute past the cutoff and that the owner's information was online, which it wasn't. When I asked her for her name, she hung up. I called back literally 2 seconds later and another stylist picked up named Tara. I asked if she was the one I was just speaking to and she said no. I asked for the other's name and she said she wasn't sure because she was in the back. A blatant lie. This was supposed to be my sons first haircut and they ruined that experience with their poor attitude and customer service. WHO TURNS AWAY A ONE YEAR OLD FOR THEIR FIRST HAIRCUT BECAUSE THEY ARE ONE MINUTE PAST THE 10 MINUTE CUTOFF? My sister is a hair stylist and she would never do that. It's bad business. Especially when the place is empty! I hope the owner contacts me because that woman should not have a job in customer service! Maybe this woman was scared to do a child's hair, maybe she didn't have the skills, maybe she had a bad day, or maybe she is just a witch. There is no excuse. I hope people read this and they lose business because of it. COMPLETELY unacceptable.

In the past I just added my tip, ran my card and was done. Now however you must perform two separate transactions. One for the hair cut and a second transaction on something called Tipsy. Actually this is VERY inconvenient, plus a service fee is added to what you tip. For example a 6 dollar tips, charges your card 6.69!! I will bring cash for the tip in the future. 69 cents is nothing, but its a ridiculous rate on 6 dollar tip. I hope the owners get rid of that thing. So 5 stars for the cut and zero stars for the business of a simple checkout.
