I should have followed my intuition. I was just walking around downtown Moscow when I passed by…read morethe salon and I instantly had a great vibe. A year later, I finally went to this Salon and I was just very pleased with how the male and female (husband/wife) owners of the salon treated me. First, if you ladies are looking for someone to shape your eyebrows, I would highly recommend the wife of the owner, every time I look in the mirror and see the beautiful eyebrows, I think of her. I will definitely go back to Hair and Face Salon to get a facial service with this woman. Secondly, the husband is very kind, he listened even when I didn't know what I wanted with my hair in the beginning. He took his time to ask questions and get the feel for what I like to have done with my hair and color and style. The end result was fabulous, he gave me tip on how to style my hair and what to do to keep it shiny and healthy and to utilize the natural oil on my hair to my advantage. Since he is highly in demand, you may have to book a month in advance to see him. The salon is simple, clean and quaint. The facial room is so relaxing I can fall asleep in there! They serve coffee and tea during your visit. The price is very fair and you definitely get what you paid for and more. This salon is worth looking into and if you can, treat yourself to their salon and spa service.

Doug has been my hair guy lately because I realized he works on Saturdays (and sometimes Sundays)…read more I'm glad the internet exists because I found him because I decided to search for something like "hair salons near me open now" one weekend. His studio is in the red Simply Nails building on the edge of downtown Pullman so there's no obvious sign that he's there. The other hair station in the room is for a separate business and she often doesn't work the same hours so that side is often empty when I'm there. The nail salon is also closed weekends so it's nice and quiet. He doesn't allow people to schedule online but you can reschedule (if ever needed) on the Square Go app once you're on the books. He had too many people scheduling appointments that weren't long enough for the services they wanted so he now chats with people and sets up the appointment himself. Besides the weekend availability, I love that he'll usually trim my hair during the color appointment. I never need a big transformation haircut so it makes sense to just have it be part of the color appointment.
