Well excuse the fk out of me, I use Android systems because Apple is overpriced and a terrible company. Get better equipment. I sent my husband to get a hair cut because he looked ragged. He came back 5 minutes later and $40 later because I sent him with a big tip for them. They barely even cut his hair. They didn't do anything. His sideburns looked terrible. They didn't even cut his bangs. I was mad for months and still am. I am not a barber and was forced to basically do it myself. I am working in the area for several months so I sought out a local barber. I went in, had a short wait when it was my turn I was asked to take a seat. The barber was cold and quiet for the first half but warmed up later. I asked for a flat-top but actually got more of a crewcut with a little length on top. As it was too short to fix I paid the bill and left a small tip. Later I wrote a note to the home office and offered a photo. No interest in the photo was shown and the only remedy offered was to go back and get it fixed. To shorten this up the owner turns out to be more interested in defending his barber than satisfying a customer. Finally he just accused me of trying to get something for nothing. The wait is short and the prices are cheap. Be warned, you are paying for what you get; the quality of haircut, service, and overall attitude and environment the workers are displaying. This was my first time in and will be my last due to the aforementioned. Also, a neck shave will bring you a cut that breaks skin and bleeds. A simple shampoo apparently means shaking the customer's head profusely with no regard to comfort or, yet again, quality of service. After all, and even noticing she cut me, nothing was changed to the price of the haircut. This place has virtually no competition and is he only name haircutters around, you'd think they would have a little pride and decency! Botched my layering bad... not symmetrical at all. Bangs too. Awful experience... have to wait until hair grows back... one side is a complete ruin - too much hair was taken off, when the other side layered nice on my cheekbones and bang is blended in... Friday afternoon I came in looking to get a fresh cut due to the fact of having my girlfriend's formal, and my formal the day after. I asked for a simple haircut, short on the sides a little longer on top. I thought the haircut looked fine and left. If you want a decent, cheap clipper cut, this place is for you. If you want it in a comfortable environment, this is not the place for you. Cuts are good to great, with fast service (once you get into the chair, if you've had to wait). The chauvinistic, homophobic, and politically indelicate t-shirts they sell don't make for a welcome atmosphere (e.g., check out a sample from their web site, 'The Man Shop supports gay marriage--as long as it is between two hot chicks!"). Why alienate potential male customers who are under 13, gay, or who don't feel the need to objectify women? All the perks (your own TV remote, pool table, darts, games, etc.) are a waste on a customer like me who values my time. Some stylists attempt to dress sexy but it doesn't fully work so it comes across lame and misguided. I will tip you well if you give me a good haircut (I could care less about your clothes). My pet peeve is that they won't allow you to rinse your head after having a clipper cut. Everyone knows when you buzz it short there are little annoying hairs that have to be rinsed off your head and neck. Ladies, a complimentary hot towel won't remove the tiny hairs! I used to go every two weeks but I did not enjoy the atmosphere and having to run home to rinse my head off so I stopped going. read more

The barbers here are very rude and unpleasant. They just try and get the job done as quick as possible and don't pay close attention. Although I can't fully blame them. It sounds like girls are underpaid and paid hourly. Not a good combo for a decent haircut. Having a pissed off barber cutting your hair a very uncomfortable. I'm annoyingly OCD about a number of things (just ask my wife...) and haircuts are right up there at the top of the list, and I'm happy to say that the Man Shop was awesome. I had no appointment so I took my lunch break a little early and walked in around 11:00 am and they had me in a barber chair in under a minute. Literally. The gal cutting my hair wasn't too chatty, and she worked really fast! More importantly though, she was VERY thorough, and she checked with me a couple of times throughout the cut to make sure it was looking like I wanted. Also did the straight razor neck shave, and had her wash my hair at the end to get all the loose hairs before I went back to work. I've been to a few other barber shops around the Moscow/Pullman area and this is definitely one of the best cuts I've had. For the price and quality of the cut you cannot beat this place. Five stars. Side note: Some of the flavor/decor is a little edgy and some people might be offended, but it's honestly nothing more explicit or wild than what you would see on a bumper sticker or billboard around town. read more

Worst experience I've ever experienced. My Son and Husband both went in for a hair cut, we waited for a over an hour in the lobby, we were first up on the "waiting" list. My husband stepped outside to smoke, and they immediately skipped over his name and my sons and let someone else get there hair cut. After we'd been there for 1.5 hours, with our two other children. I've had decent experiences here in the past, but yesterday I went in to literally just get cleaned up around the sides, and walked out with the worst haircut I've ever paid for. It seemed okay when they got me to the counter, but when I got home, even my friends noted how sloppy it was and how they took no time to make sure I looked even halfway decent. I'd hate to think that it was anything other than a misunderstanding, but once the barber noticed I was wearing an NRA brand shirt, she made no attempt at a conversation let alone eye contact. I'm writing this, wearing a hat I refuse to take off until I find a barber that can fix this haircut. If you have any other resource for a haircut, exhaust them before coming here. I brought my son in for a haircut. He had been in before with my husband but the chain - smoker who was standing at the counter couldn't put down her phone to type with both hands and the complex task was clearly making her upset and she had no problem sharing that with us. She smelled like cigarette butts BAD so I asked for a non smoker. She looked confused by my request...nobody wants your stinky fingers up in their face! There was only 1 non smoker in the place so although there were only 1 other customer we still waited 20 minutes. They must spend all down time smoking instead of cleaning because there was hair everywhere it was gross. The girl that cut his hair was very polite. It appears from the haircut that she may need some additional training before charging again for her services. I would not recommend this place to anyone, ever! I asked for my hair to be trimmed around the ears and neck. I literally ended up with about 1/2 an inch shaved off above my ears. Anyone who is paying a modicum of attention or knows what the hell they're doing could've done better. Cheap yes, but it is cheap quality. The attempts at being cool, hip, and a fun place to be are over the top and not worth the crappy cut. Apparently throwing scissors or clippers in anybody's hands qualifies them to even trim hair. This place had potential but after getting my haircut there, I was greatly disappointed. The barber was really rude and she didn't cut my hair the way I asked. I even showed her a picture and all she said was "I don't know how to cut your hair like that." It wasn't even hard. Just a little clean up on the side and whalla, done. My husband used to get his hair cut here often. He does a simple cut, fairly short with a fade on the sides. They do an okay job but every time he would come home, I would have to touch up his hair myself, as they would completely miss small sections of hair. I've been to the Man Shop twice now and haven't had the best of luck. The place itself is conveniently situated to campus (WSU) and the inside is neat and organized. However, the staff need to work on their professionalism. I was seated by a pregnant woman whose name I don't remember. She was nice at the start, but as she proceeded with my haircut she got more and more rude. She started buzzing the sides of my head insanely fast and was literally yelling at me saying, "stop moving your head!". She proceeded to then scissor cut the top of my head once again at a fast and impatient pace. Finally, after the five minute haircut she didn't even blow-dry the small pieces of hair off my head or shoulders! She threw me a warm towel and told me to meet her at the front of the store to pay.
