I love this place. It's a family-owned neighborhood barber shop and they're great, conservative, patriotic people. It's what you'd expect from a neighborhood barber shop, with great conversations and genuine people. And, they give great haircuts. I've never waited more than 15 minutes. Have been trying to get my hair cut for weeks. Last week they closed for Memorial Day, no big deal. Their hours on Saturday's are posted as 9-3. Got there this week to find them closing at 1:45. Businesses shouldn't be this hard to patronize. read more

Papa's is quite an awesome barber shop. They give great hair cuts at a good price. Included is straight razor shave on the back of the neck, which I'm a huge fan of. For a bonus they give you a neck massage! It is most defiantly my favorite place to get a haircut in Hayden Idaho. read more

Mixed feeling about this shop mainly because no prices posted. When I asked "how much for a hair cut" , she said "$39.95, but in your case i'll make it $13". Made me wonder if this varies from head-to-head or by them seeing what make & model wheels you drive up in, or? Both the female barbers on duty were friendly, swift, and mine was competent. I was satisfied with the result & appreciated the hot lather & straight razor trim around edges and neck + massage thrown in - not all shops do that. But with a customary $2 tip, my $15 total seemed a bit steep. While in California some months ago, I had no trouble finding barbers for $6 (for a trim) to $8 (full haircut). If this place would have been a $12 total or less, I'd have given them 5 stars. If possible, I would have given 3.5 stars, but not a 4 read more
