Is it a haircut place or a bar or SPORTS? I got a good cut here and just walked right in, was out in less than 30 minutes. I do have the sneaking suspicion that the large sign outside proclaiming 'SPORTS' is so when a guy gets a really nice haircut and his buddies tease him because it's "too fancy" he can retort with something like. "Naw! Shut up Collin, I ain't like that! I'm a real man! My haircut place has a sign that has SPORTS written on it right outside and there is a bar too! Pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind that this is a popular spot and they are very busy. They have sports merchandise, a pool table, a bar, TV screens in the lounge, among other things to keep you busy while you wait your turn. This place is set up very nicely. I got my 4 year olds hair cut here. I was super happy with the cut. The Salon has a really good layout. You get a free drink with the haircut. They have some mini arcade games and foosball and a lounge to sit in. Renee cut my son's hair. She was really sweet and patient. She gave all my kids a treat after. You get the full experience here. This place is not what it used to be, I understand that the quality of your experience depends mostly on who you choose to cut your hair but the last 3 times I've been in I've been dissatisfied. When I used to come here years ago there was a lady named Michelle that absolutely killed it and would consistently give me the best haircut for my hair type that I've ever had. The lady I had this time wasn't "rude" but very passive aggressive and gave the vibe that the last thing she wanted to be doing right now was giving me a haircut. It was definitely my last time coming here to say the least. Also I know it's not under their control but just getting in is nearly IMPOSSIBLE especially past 3pm, and you can't make an appointment. I've come here more than 10 times and been sent home because they're "booked for the night". With how busy this place is it should constantly have a full lineup of cutters. read more

So it's 651 pm,Friday, April 16. Arrived at the locker room expecting to go in and have a haircut. I understand that people like to go home. Most of the time however when you have business you generally care about each and every customer? That means that you work until the appropriate time to shut it down. Which is not 10 minutes or 12 minutes before your closing time. When I got into the locker room today I asked if I could get a haircut? The person at the cash register who appeared in my opinion to be a middle-aged woman? Seemed more interested in speaking with another barber. Mainly because I don't know her name. Said I couldn't get a haircut because it was too late. I said there's nobody waiting in line. She said well they're giving haircuts and then they go home. As I looked around I could not see anybody getting a haircut? I saw many open chairs and I saw a another female that I believe is a barber standing there BS ing with her at the cash register. Now I've gone there before and they did a reasonable job cutting my hair and I thought happy thoughts of this place. I am very disappointed in this type of service because I drove over from Spokane in order to get here and got caught up in some traffic. I could've saved my gas and not going out of my way to use their business. Especially since last time I was here I gave a very generous tip to the person that cut my hair. So if you're planning on going to the locker room? They do not take reservations. So I don't know how you're supposed to know that they will or will not cut your hair until you show up in person and play let's make a deal with can I get a haircut today.? I would give them a one star because I do like the layout in there and it is a place that a man can feel comfortable going in to get a haircut. That said it won't do you any good if you cannot get a haircut and they won't even go out of their way to attempt to give you a haircut. Had the seats been filled with people and just everybody standing in line I could see being turned away. I guess this is part of the new post Covid way of doing business , nobody wants to work? Generally as a fellow businessman when you have business you do business and in this economy I would think you would want to get every dollar you can? With our wonderful president giving out all kinds of free money people like to sit on their butts and not work. Im not sure I'll make the effort to come back here again ?and I will for sure tell all employees not to bother. It's asinine to me that you can't call and find out if there are available times for a haircut because they do not take any reservations and they won't give me any information? so you waste your gas coming over here only to find youve wasted your time and fuel!not everybody can come here in the middle of the day to get a haircut. No appointments so your forced to wait or get on a list and return at the specified time....kinda like an appointment but you have to make to trip twice! The shop is cool with lots to do but life is too busy to spend the day in a salon for a hair cut. Unfortunately last visit the cut wasn't good and the lady that usually cut my hair is no longer there. When it was finally my turn an old lady brought be back to the chair and I told her I wanted 1 1/2 inches off the top and she was very keen on me knowing how much 1 1/2 inches was and I said yes. She ended up taking off more then 2 1/2 inches and tried to make it my fault by saying this is what I said blah blah blah. I told her off and it was free. Worst experience I have ever had and I do not recommend this old hag to anyone, she is literally the worst person to cut my hair. I would like to really chew her ass for sucking at her job. I have been here several times in the last year. The people are great and do good work. The haircut & beverage is a wonderful thing and the price is right but I especially enjoy the massage chair during the shampoo. Considering that this is a Men's salon with a sorts bar atmosphere it is somewhat annoying to always have some mom herding their brood of toddlers in the door. This place has been great for my husband, but AWFUL for my son. I do not know what it is about kids cuts, but the three times my son has had his hair cut here, they severely mess it up. My friend just took her son and they botched his hair as well. It's not like they are wiggly little toddlers, they are 8 year old kids... I will never take my son here again. It looks part sports bar, part convenience store, and part salon/barber shop. If you are the video game type they got those along with recliners and sports on all the TVs. I love taking my guy to The Locker Room! We usually go to the one in Coeur d Alene and have never had a bad experience. However, we just left this location about 3 hours ago and now that his hair is dry, we can see what the cut really looks like. It's seriously the worst. Uneven and looks like a child did it. We would've gone to the CdA location to get it fixed but they were already closed for the day. So I did it for him, and I know nothing about cutting hair. So needless to say, we wasted $17 + a tip today. Wait that's not true, at least the beer was good.. Only going to the CdA location from now on, if that. Very disappointed. read more

Not going here anymore, today was my sons 10th visit which was suppose to be free. Condescending owner/manager had to come up after the lady at the counter confirmed it was his 10th visit and said this will not be free today because your son did not put in his phone number after every visit. So advertisement was not honored on 10th one being free.Not just my business is lost but all that I know will be told how I was treated. I also notice the turnover rate there is very high, now I know why I couldn't work for someone that treats customers poorly. Imagine the poor stylists. Thumbs down review. I love going to Locker room, and the girls that work there. It's too bad that whoever owns it doesn't feel the same way. They barely get paid more than Mcdonalds money, even after all that school.
