    Bad

Definitely one of the top five worst meals I've ever eaten, in 59 years on this planet. Nothing tasted good, they couldn't even get the french fries, right. Really disgusting looking, and nothing was fresh, the fish was horrible, and edible Salad dressing was Alcoholic it was so old. Bathrooms were dingy, help was bad. I can't say enough about this place to tell you never to go there, despite any optimism or hunger. Much better off with other local options.

I never visited this place before. I saw so many reviews it almost turned me away. I decided to take the wife and kids and meet up with some friends. The place was really big, open and lots of room. The seating was a little tight. I felt like I was dining with my neighbors. However, the food.... The food was really good. Tons of selections and ~$20 per person it's not bad considering a combo at a non buffet runs around ~$15-20. I would say it's absolutely worth it. The bar also made great drinks and not many buffets locally have a bar. TLDR - Give it a try. Don't let the reviews persuade you. I will go back.

I was surprised that the restaurant met my expectations, for a typical buffet-style restaurant. I understand that buffet-style food is not always the best quality/delicious, but I was impressed by the selection of sushi they had - definitely my favorite, especially salmon nigiris and Tamago nigiris. The rolls were filled and the person making them did not use too much rice (some buffets do so to make the customers full faster). The crawfish was average, we got a few plates of it, they kept coming out hot whenever the trays were near empty. I wish there were more sauce options for the seafood, I felt like the mussels were too bland, since the butter isn't salted. I loved the honey shrimp! There's self-serve ice cream as well as a variety of fruits and cakes. Honestly, I would come back, I think I got my money's worth for what it is (~$20 per person before tip).

They have chinese food, sushi and raw oyster bar. They have a huge selection of chinese food and quite the selection of seafood including crab, oyster, fish, shrimp, crawfish. They also have American comfort food such as pizza, chicken nuggets, fries etc. The food was mediocre but in terms of variety, freshness and cleanliness it was great! I was surprised they refilled the trays quickly and often even though it was around 8:30 pm on a Friday night. The food was always hot and the service was excellent. The price is really reasonable, for chinese buffet plus sushi only around $16. It is customary to provide tips to the sushi and oyster bar.

Bland food, even the heavily sauced items. This restaurant is best for people who value quantity above all else. It's a pass for me.

The online ordering process was fairly straightforward- the site is used by other restaurants in our area so I had to double-check it was the right one! I pretty much always order the same vegetarian rolls - some may say boring, I say easy to please. This night, I ordered a sweet potato tempura roll, a peanut avocado roll, and an AAC with mango roll. I waited a few moments for the food once I arrived. The restaurant is open and bright- there are many succulents and plants near the entrance. There is a weird plastic screen mounted from the ceiling by the door- sort of a makeshift vestibule. I imagine during cold months, it helps regulate the temperature inside. I really only noticed it because I was standing there, staring at it while I waited for my order. It was a pretty clever contraption. The food was ready just a few moments after I arrived at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and courteous- asked if I wanted chopsticks or soy sauce and happily accommodated my request for low sodium soy sauce. Took the rolls home and enjoyed them in pjs while a thunderstorm rolled through. I'd say the food was fine. There was no eel sauce on my rolls- which I wasn't sure if it's because I ordered all vegetarian. But, they needed something for flavor. I opted for hoisin sauce we had in our fridge. The sweet potato roll felt a bit like soggy tempura had been used- hence, needing a sauce. The peanut avocado tasted a lot like each of those ingredients and was very basic feeling without any added flavor. The AAC with mango roll was very tasty. Given the generic ordering I do for sushi rolls, I may likely opt for a different place next time but won't rule Sake Hana out forever.

Sawa had a decent Yelp rating (and was essentially the only place we could walk to), so we decided to give it a try. It has a large bar, traditional table seating and Hibachi steakhouse style seating, it's a fairly large place. It also projects a traditional Japanese Steakhouse vibe. Since we were dining at an off time, there was only one other patron in view. They have an expansive Asian menu and we ordered: Salmon Dinner - 5pcs of salmon sushi & spicy salmon roll (with salad) Asian Fried Rice with Chicken Scallion Pancake Gyoza -Japanese pan fried pork dumpling 2 Green Tea Total with Tip: $78 How expansive is the menu? If you search for Salmon on their online menu, you get 47 hits! Service was good, then again we were essentially on our own. The Salmon was good, not the best I've ever had, but tasty. The Fried Rice was also tasty, but very salty. The Scallion Pancakes were crispy and nicely cooked, we really liked these. And the Gyoza was very tasty, but should have been crisper. Overall, a very enjoyable "Linner" and a 4-star dining experience. I would return here if in the area.

Low lighting inside but it fit the vibe well. I got the Hibachi Lunch w/Chicken. Presentation was good and the chicken was well cooked. But the Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp was terrible. The proteins were tough and dry, the rice was much too salty and also dry, it was a very unappealing dish. My co-diner commented that the venue looked tired, the table felt sticky (the plastic menu was difficult for the waiter to retrieve from the table as it was stuck to it), and it was very noisy.
