Without hesitation checked & confirmed that wrapping paper was in fact NINETY % off!!! Checking out couldn't have been more pleasant & accurate. Kevin cheerfully greeted me, handled my items carefully and since there were no other customers behind me we chatted a bit. We shared our thoughts about the importance of being familiar with other languages. He practiced a little tagalog (Philippine language) & I mentioned i could get by with a little Spanish. Again, I appreciate my Rite Aid store and today, specifically these two store associates. Hoping for a healthier, happier new year!

They just closed up shop (there's a Thrifty Ice Cream stand in the store) which has 10 flavors to choose from. The line for the pharmacy was quite long for the time and day we went. There was about 8 people in line. Staff there was warm. Was either happy to see us or happy it was the end of the shift. Either way, they were super approachable. Shelves were quite bare in the rest of the store. We looked for a couple of items and it wasn't available. This location isn't the biggest but not the smallest. There's some cool things you can find but it's not enough to warrant going out of the way to get here. Some of the items you can find cheaper elsewhere. Lots of spaces in the parking lot. So that'll never be a problem. Okay spot. 3 stars pretty much sums up the place. Nice energy throughout.

Not to mention the attitudes a lot of the employees have sucks. One thing i have to do besides leave this rating is call the corporate office. For some reason they like to fallow me and my family around the store. The last 4 times have been real bad. Im not sure why they fallow us. We look and act just like everyone else in the store. For some reason they harass my oldest daughter she's only 16 but every time she comes with me they follow her and stop following me there's no reason for it they like to profile people I guess. Today my daughter was waiting for fitting room but i was already late to where i had to be so i told her try the shirt on over her other shirt real quick to see if it fit so we could pay and go. That was a problem the woman literally said my daughter couldnt do that and called security, even though there was another woman doing it they said nothing to her. When i check out evrry single time they stand there and stand literally at the =bagging section and watch every move i make. Its very uncomfortable and on topof that we have never done anything to make them stalk us ever. They act like were a bunch of thiefs. We are the farthest thing from that. They should know we are not like that by now. But the harassment is getting worse. I will make a purposefull trip there again this week with camara in hand. Im goingbto record every thing. That's why when I met Prashant Koyani & his business on Palm Avenue in Imperial Beach I was thrilled & so was my Fiancee! Until, today a day after tropical depression Hilary. I had just got back from Phoenix & then last Thursday I got a call from the Pharmacist regarding my Lyrica & how I would need to be home on Friday from 2-7pm as he said being a controlled substance. He then asked for my Fiancee as she now needs Caremark or CVS to do get prescription's due to a change in her insurance. Anyways, I handed the phone to her and she spoke to the same pharmacist. Then Friday rolled around & I had to slowly prep for the Hurricane. Then come Friday night we realized that Imperial Pharmacy had not delivered. My Fiancee then said "I should be upset & call them!" So I called today. And, the Pharmacist an Asian man (not being racist he was just the only asian pharmacist) answered. He became agitated & said "I remember talking to your Fiancee, but I never talked to you!" I said "you talked to me right before I handed the phone to her, because you had asked for her regarding her insurance!" He then interupted & said "I have a time stamp of when I spoke to your Fiancee!" I said "you spoke to her twice, & spoke to me Thursday & you told me it would come delivered between 2 & 7pm and I am out of meds!" He said it doesn't matter because my drivers are off today due to the Hurricane!" Note- no inclimate weather today the day after tropical depression Hilary! Anyways, he said "are you going to come in today" & hung up! So, pissed off at him basically calling me a liar I had to go into Imperial Pharmacy barely walking with my cane. I went in calmly and when the female asked for my name I gave it to her & nicely asked her for the owners name because I had met him & forgot his name. The Pharmacist then interupted and shouted out "he's not here!" He then lost it he started arguing with me. I asked him if it made him "feel good to agitate seniors that are Handicapped!" He said are you calling me a liar I said "I have better things to do than argue with you over a conversation that I know happened!" He yelled this is not CVS and waved like a child at me! Whatever, that means? He said "you just want to yell!" I said to him "believe me I have better things to do than make up stuff about a Pharmacy delivery." Especially, from Imperial Pharmacy! But, now the way this Pharmacist acted I do take it personally and will GO OUT OF MY WAY TO TELL PEOPLE OF IMPERIAL BEACH & SAN DIEGO TO SUPPORT Mom & Pop Stores in San Diego just not IMPERIAL PHARMACY!
