    Loaded parm fries
    Michele R.

I've had Impasto a few years back and it's still one of my favorite food trucks in the Tampa Bay. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and you can eat it on the go! Also is hearty and will keep you full. This time around we got the sausage and pepper, the grilled chicken, and the loaded parm fries. Did not disappoint! Owners are very friendly! I believe they're snow birds from Michigan, so make sure you see them while they're here in Tampa!

The prices were a bit higher than I expected for a food truck BUT the wrap was massive and definitely filling for the price so I felt it was a good value.

First off, the crunch is so loud it could qualify as a sound effect in an action movie. I took one bite and half expected someone to yell "CUT!" The chicken itself is juicy, but let's be honest it's really just a vehicle for that bang bang sauce, which tastes like sweet, spicy, and "text your ex you've changed" all rolled into one. I told myself I'd share. That was a lie. A bold faced, shameless lie. The plate hit the table and suddenly I turned into a territorial raccoon guarding its last meal. By the end, my fingers were sticky, my dignity was gone, and I was seriously considering ordering a second round like I hadn't just embarrassed myself in public.

This is a new dish, if you can even call it one. Literally two slices of tuna, no side of sauce which it's supposed to have, a bunch of old cabbage for filling (even though the new container is half the size as it is), and what could be nothing else but soggy potato chips (yes, literally they put in chips, I don't even know how else to put it except it literally had chips in it). Pathetic. Completely pathetic.

I am absolutely OBSESSED! They are so tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor every single time. You can really taste the love and authenticity in the food. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every bite. The service is always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether I'm grabbing a quick meal or sitting down to enjoy it, I always leave happy. If you haven't tried Loli's Tacos yet, you are missing out. Highly, highly recommend!

BUT -- they sell the equivalent of street vendor tacos. Don't get me wrong... Their tacos are very good. But, they don't particularly look good. I ordered three tacos (hint... Taco Tuesday gives you a free taco when you buy two tacos). They have tons of different flavors, ranging from good old-fashioned pork, sausage, chicken, beef, even fish or shrimp, and most surprisingly even tongue if you're into that. The food is flavorful and reasonably priced. When you see how small a street taco is and you know you paid four dollars for it... That stings a little bit. I guess that's the standard price these days. So the moral of the story... Good food, great location, reasonable prices.

Always an incredible experience here. My boyfriend and I made reservations for Valentine's Day…read moredinner here. A week before they called to confirm again and thank me for making a reservation. We arrive at our time an only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated. We were greeted quickly and brought waters. We ordered a red Italian wine recommended by our waiter, which was delicious! They had a specific menu for Valentine's Day so we ordered the succotini (not sure on spelling here) but omg this appetizer is to die for. Think honey, pear, cheese and pasta all in one. So yum. Next we had chicken genovese and chicken piccata. Served quickly and tasted delicious. For dessert we had the tiramisu. They also had a woman playing the violin for a bit. Overall it was a wonderful experience as always and we will be back soon. Thank you!!

If location means anything to you this place has not got it. Corner of two busy intersections sharing a difficult to maneuver parking lot with a drive through coffee shack is somewhat challenging. Good news the coffee shack is closed when the dinner service goes on. From the outside it's not much to look at but stepping inside you're transformed into a somewhat elegant restaurant. Staff is attentive and well versed in the menu selection and specials. Wine list is good but they did push us to order the bottle as a better choice and we were able to take the remains home with us so no waste. Menu selection is limited so hopefully they will have what you want. The Gorgonzola bruschetta was of not your typical you'd think of. 4 slices of hard toast with a Gorgonzola glaze over it. Not fresh tomato over it as normal bruschetta would have. The eggplant parmigiana with pasta was done well no issues there and they did alter the dish and remove the spinach. The Seafood Ravioli special was somewhat disappointing and expensive for the actual dish. Covered in a "heavy" cream sauce it was almost tasteless and the seafood was again for the price somewhat lacking. 2 tiny clams, 2 food sized mussels, 2 small scallops and 3 medium shrimp accompanied the dish. At $45.95 I might have expected a better or more selection and the lobster ravioli was ok but again tasteless under the heavy cream. We passed on dessert and coffee and moved on. Satisfied with the service, the atmosphere inside is high class and charming and the sevice good. Maybe other dishes next trip and navigation of the parking lot next time for easier in and out.
