She asked a number of questions some of which I couldn't answer (question-what kind of pump? My answer "black"). Not once was I made to feel silly because I didn't know the answers. The appointment was made quickly, I was surprised that it would be the next day. Lou arrived promptly and was easy to speak with. He addressed the pump issue, checked the pressure in my well tank, fixed leaking gas lines and fixed my sump pump. The cost was in the range I expected. The most impressive thing is that he left the area cleaner than when he arrived! He even cleaned my utility sink (yes, it was in need of it, but...)! I definitely will call again for plumbing needs.

At first I thought that maybe it was some kind of malware after letting my kid use it for his games. We used this business for a whole house move a couple months ago…read more They were somewhat reckless with our belongings. Many boxes were ripped , some pieces of furniture/bulky items were damaged or broken. And one of the door frames of the new home had a large chunk of wood taken out , i imagine from a piece of furniture moving in. We had boxes clearly labeled with what room to be placed in, and many ended up in the wrong rooms. Same applied to the furniture. I appreciated them being able to move a piano (extra cost, but still! Not everyone does it.) and I appreciated them being able to accommodate the moving time shift, however the price significantly jumped from the initial estimate when we had pushed the time from late morning to afternoon. They started off as the cheapest estimate we got, out of 5 estimates, but ended up being the second highest cost. We would have booked with a more reputable company if I had known the price would jump so high. (It was a few thousand dollar jump.)

Chris did an awesome job for us on four different doors today. I inquired about a job on yelp and…read morereceived a response within minutes. That was at about 8:30 AM this morning. He provided a quote to add a deadbolt to our door and re-key it to an existing key. The price was slightly better than two other competitors on yelp, and Chris had more reviews and a five star rating, so went with him. I wasn't disappointed! Chris was able to come out THAT DAY and add the deadbolt we wanted, as well as fix the door handle so that it better aligned with the door jam and was able to close properly (an existing issue we had since we bought the house). He also filed down the pins in the new deadbolt because it was slightly different than the key we wanted it to match. He very well could have just told us that we had to deal with two separate keys, but instead, went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. While he was there, I asked what he would charge to come back another day and fix three other doors that were a little bit hard to close. Instead, he ended up providing a discount price and fixing all three that night. Our doors and locks are now all in perfect order, and it didn't take all that much out of my wallet. Really appreciated the professionalism, the good price, and Chris's willingness to explain exactly what he was doing while he was doing it. Would not hesitate to recommend or to hire again!

A nice gentleman came by and gave me a quote of $945!!! (I think that was the exact amount) to lift and reset the toilet. I could not believe what I heard. After he called his supervisor to try to give me a discount, I got a quote of $650. I still felt that was too much so I told him I will look for other quotes. I called two other plumbing companies. After describing the problem, one gave me an estimate over the phone for around $350. The other company I called came by and gave me a quote (and did the work) for $384. (Also, when I searched on the internet for the average cost for that kind of work, the amount I paid was consistent with the average price.) Please note: The reason I had only called AJ Perri, without calling other plumbers to compare quotes, is because I used AJ Perri twice in the past and their prices were reasonable and the technicians were very nice and competent. But this time I was shocked by that incredibly high quote, so I had to end up calling others. That's too bad for them!
