OMG, these guys are great. They are honest and capable technical and business folks and generally great guys who are a joy to work with. I have a Tesla that came without turn signal stalks. Instead, there are buttons on the steering wheel. After 8 months I never got used to the buttons, especially on a traffic circle. I found aftermarket stalks and bought them. Turns out the steering wheel and airbag have to be removed to do the installation and I was not up to that with either skills or tools. I worked for hours to find someone to install them. Tesla would not and most places would not touch the job or if they did wanted a fortune to do the work. Marc was great in explaining everything and setting me up with an appointment. I was so fortunate that I called Imagine Audio. They worked with me to find a reliable/reasonably priced OEM manufacturer for the camera (I didn't want to buy used or some cheap knockoff). So it's been a while, 8 years to be exact since I spent several thousand dollars at this store having my windows tinted and a top of the line subwoofer system put in. After 1.5 years the power amp went out and had to be sent back to the factory. A year later the subwoofer quits. I went back again, they played with some wires and it worked when I left. A month later the sub quit again. Frustrated and very busy I did not return to this store. Drove without my sub until I found a great store in Ewing NJ. They inspected the system and immediately asked me where I had it done and that the power amp should NEVER have been installed under the drivers seat in the mustang. They showed me frayed wires that led to shorting out the sub. The. Wires grayed from the movement of the drivers seat over the years. End of story is $1200 later I have the power amp relocated and the sub replaced. Sadly, this store lost a good customer...so BE WARE work can be shoddy! read more

Decent spot for tint, I prefer Dynamic Tint now that they are in town. They will upsell the heck on certain films so I'd advise making sure you ultimately get what YOU want. Overpriced when it comes to audio, wheels + tires, but the internet has crushed that business and it's obvious they need every dollar at the risk of repeat business so that's to be expected. I've referred plenty, but not again... 2 people I've referred shared the "pressure" of them pressing for certain tint films. One even said looks like my windows werent even tinted! Fantastic experience at Imagine Audio. These guys know what they're doing and are more than happy to invite you into the magic. I went there on the recommendation of a friend for a remote start for my car. They called the night before to confirm my appointment and were completely organized and prepared to give me exactly what I needed for a very reasonable price in spite of the fact that I had to fess up and let them know that neither of my remote key fobs really work. Steve said, "We can work around that." The place is a little far from home for me to Uber back, so they set me up comfortably right there in the showroom with wifi and everything else I needed. I was able to get in a couple of hours of real work while I waited. While I was there, I was also able to see how they treated other people who came in. They are like your buddy who has a totally tricked-out garage and just lets you come over and hang out and imagine how cool it would be to have some of that insane gear. I guess that's why the place is called "Imagine." These guys are just as excited as you are about your upgrade, big or small. When a guy came in and said, right up front, that he didn't have the cash right away, but just wondered what kind of cool things he could do with his Nissan, Steve just kind of hung out with him, showing him some stuff, giving honest opinions about what would work and what wouldn't and genuinely assessing what was reasonable in terms of pricing and timing. By the time the guy left, he had a pretty good goal list going and felt great about what was reachable. Another guy came in to talk about getting remote start for himself and his wife. The Imagine experts spent a lot of time with him, making absolutely sure he got just what he wanted and, more importantly, what would work for his decidedly higher-maintenance wife's needs. When he left, he had everything picked out, deposits paid and appointments all ready to go. The look of sheer joy on that guy's face as he walked out the door folding up his paperwork and getting ready to call his wife could only be described as Christmas Morning Bliss. Imagine Audio recently installed a backup camera on my car. The process went smoothly from start to finish. There was no pressure, no hard-sell and they were friendly and professional throughout. Not only did they do a great job on the installation they even matched the price of the camera to that of another authorized Alpine dealer. Imagine Audio is a Flagship Alpine dealer and as such was able to double the manufacturer's warranty from 1 year to 2. While I was there I also had them hard-wire my GPS so that the cord wouldn't drag across my dashboard. They did a wonderful job and it looks great. I plan on going back soon for some speakers and have every reason to believe that they'll do just as well, especially if they continue their willingness to match the prices of other authorized dealers. Very highly recommended. UPDATE: May 2016 Since my previous review IA has installed a head unit and speakers in my son's car and a head unit, speakers and amp in my own car (have since traded in my last one, the one that prompted my original review.) True to form the team at IA were absolutely top-notch. These guys are the best!!! In short, I had spent 3-4 days trying to install a new DDIN head unit in my '08 Lancer GTS with the existing Rockford Fosgate system. It needed two special harnesses. One to retain steering wheel controls, and one to retain the connection with the RF amp and sub. This wasn't my first time installing a new head unit. I had everything soldered and wired together properly, yet I couldn't get anything to work. Out of frustration, I called 12 different shops in the area, and they all said they wanted like $90 just to look and then schedule an appointment. Imagine Audio was the only place that could get me in same-day. Not only that, but instead of 3+ hours, it only took them just over 1 to fix it. This is the 3rd car that my husband and I have brought to these guys, and they consistently impress us/me every single time! I can't remember names, but all 3 that helped me (Steve on the phone call, the guy at the desk, and the installer) were absolutely professional, accommodating (I have a physical disability), and just plain amazing! The situation had been ramping my anxiety for days, and the quality of work I got from them made my entire week! I will ALWAYS recommend Imagine Audio for any and every automotive electrical job!
