it seems she has been trying to delete my original review so here's a new one…read more first of all i am honored to receive the famous "hope u heal" line u reserve for all ur bad reviews. i also want to say that although i do think Ariana's read on the situation was spot on and perfectly articulated, i had absolutely nothing to do with it. she is a complete stranger. if i were recruiting people to leave bad reviews, u would have more than just one couple things in response to ur last message: - a haircut this bad should be obvious to someone claiming to be a professional. - I dont think being a loyal customer entitles me to a refund, i think a bad haircut does. - i only mention being a recurring customer to emphasize 2 things-- the way you treat loyal clients with a **good track record**, and lost revenue for a business who *themselves* stated cannot afford a refund. - I was very careful to specifically not use the word shelf and that was intentional. - Ive had big short hair, i've had two wolf cuts, & i know how to style it. I would never request a jelly or anything resembling one. ever. (not that that's what this is) - I didn't request a blow-out. I was OFFERED one. Maybe it's not something y'all should offer in the first place if u will blame clients for accepting and use it to deny refund. - I wasn't shown the back of my hair, esp. not in final form. being in front of mirrors does not change that. this is low IQ. - yes of course y'all are bffs & will back each other up. Still think dallan would've handled it better. - I nearly accepted ur "resolution" bc u gave me no other option and i was genuinely trying to work with you. but ultimately, like i tried explaining on the phone, it would not have actually solved anything. simple as that. - yes actually... I did leave satisfied.. bc I didn't notice? and it's almost as if... that's the whole issue ???? hello ?? i want to make it clear that although i was preparing for a chargeback, i remained very polite and still tried my best to resolve this directly with the salon. i even tried to meet her halfway by suggesting a partial refund but she was not making the same effort, and became progressively rude. It's clear we're operating from fundamentally different premises. maybe that's the root of the problem here. Your position is that there's nothing wrong with the haircut itself and that I don't know how to style it. ok, I'll bite. for the sake of argument, let's assume that's true.... It doesn't change the fact that this is objectively not the haircut I asked for or agreed to receive. on that basis alone, I am owed a refund due to service not as described. it doesn't matter if u think u can "make it better". improving something bad doesn't make it good, just makes it less bad. if you had any ground (or documentation) to stand on, u wouldnt have lost the case. Policy is not law. There must be exceptions for certain cases when mistakes are made. and you need to have discernment to know the difference from when someone's abusing the system. but that requires competency (in your field and in life), humility, and good faith. when a customer has been wronged, the burden should never fall on them to figure out a resolution that works for the business. It should be the other way around. why do i even have to explain this. If I were in your position, I would be mortified to hear a customer had this experience. my priority would be to understand what would make the situation right for them and do everything reasonably possible to make that happen. I personally would have offered a refund AND an adjustment. But ironically, that means taking accountability... fortunately for all of us, u have proven it yourself that you have never been capable of this (just a quick search to see how you respond to every bad review on here and Google) and to assume premeditation/malice is a really disappointing take on this situation and makes zero sense. why or how on earth would i plan to have a bad haircut? but if that's what were doing, i can do the same.... maybe you offer blow-outs for plausible deniability on haircuts gone wrong? maybe i wasn't shown the back on purpose so i wouldn't notice? i agree there are no winners or losers here, because at the end of the day i'd rather have my hair than a refund. but because i was so polite throughout the situation, you took advantage and at the end basically shoo'd me away & expected no consequence. the last text message you sent me speaks for itself. even a stranger was upset for me. by the way... I reiterated the points we spoke about via email over the phone, not to rehash anything, but to have it all in writing for the case. i've attached photos of my original review from Google, KJ's response from Yelp, and Ariana's review as well because it tickles me and they threatened to take it dow.

A hidden gem! I have…read morea regular Stylist in Honolulu and we've been traveling back at minimum twice a year so when we moved to Utah, I wasn't exactly "hunting" for a Stylist. But isn't it true, that sometimes you find the BEST items when you're not searching? Almost like coming across a gift by accident :) Well, the stars were truly in alignment when I met Wricky. I wanted to clean up my long layers because my hair was getting really heavy. Using Yelp, I searched for "Best Asian Hair Salon" near me and Primp Salon is listed as #3. It should be #1 and hopefully more people will see this review and give Wricky a call to schedule an appointment. It's easy to schedule an appointment with him. The system offers friendly text message appointment confirmations and reminders. There's lots of free parking outside the Salon Studios and Wricky has a cozy setup! He is super fun and easy to communicate with. I explained what I had in mind and he went right to it, trimming off at least four inches of drab hair. There's something about this Utah air, whether it's dry, dusty, or the water leaves minerals but Wricky was able to cut up, clean up, and bring HEALTH back to my tresses! Wricky ensures that the water is the perfect temperature for shampooing. I appreciated the relaxing scalp massage. While drying my hair, he was polite and delicate when he towelled off the water splashes on my face and in my ears. He also used a fragrant hair serum before he blew out my hair, giving it a fun bounce and shine! Thank you Wricky! I will certainly return ;)

Wricky at Primp Salon gave me one of the best haircut and color experiences I've ever had! I have…read morebeen searching for the right stylist, and that search has ended. His salon is located in Draper and inside of the Studio Salons building. Parking is plentiful, and booking an appointment was super easy via Facebook messenger. Wricky is so fun and easy to talk to - we just clicked! I didn't have to go into depth about what exactly I wanted, because he just knew what would suit me and set realistic expectations. My hair had been lifeless and boring, and Wricky gave it volume and movement with face framing layers. I had also been wanting to go lighter, and other stylists barely made a difference after multiple hundred dollar + sessions. Wricky on the other hand, made such a big difference on the first try and didn't damage my hair one bit! He has over 13 years of experience, and it shows. He specializes in all types of colors - from blondes to brunettes, you'll look like a bombshell once he's done with you!

Fine, good or great doesn't cut it. I want perfect. If you, like me, want "perfect", you should trust Sage with your hair. Sage gives a very thorough consultation. We discussed what my goals were and used pictures for reference so there was no miscommunication and we were on the same page with expectations. I wanted to go from my natural, non-dimensional dark blonde to a "lived-in" blonde. Something easy to grow out, brighter by the face and at the ends, and dimensional. She let me know the "why" behind the process. Speaking of the process... Sage knows what she's doing. Her placement was perfect. She watched the bleach carefully and didn't let anything over-process. Which means that I now have the blonde hair of my dreams and it's STILL HEALTHY. Not to mention the fact that spending time with her was just plain FUN. Hair can take a while. Having someone do it who not only is skilled but is kind and personable was a dream. Yes, I'm particular. Yes, I am IN LOVE with my hair. Yes, I will be rebooking with Sage. I absolutely trust her. I'm so glad I have found my perfect blonde specialist. Going to Tallulah East to get my hair done was a wonderful experience. Not only is it conveniently located right above my favorite coffee shop, it's clean, bright and beautifully set up. My favorite thing about Tallulah East in particular, though, is the fact that it feels so personal. The experience makes you feel like the sole focus of your hairstylist. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the setup. Another thing a really appreciate is the fully transparent pricing. It makes it so much easier to budget for getting my hair done.
