This was my first time here. I saw Suaze (sp) she did an rad job coloring my hair. It was brown and she got it foiled to a perfect color of blonde. The only thing I disliked about this place was the bad techno-y music. read more

This review is very long overdue, because this salon certainly deserves a 5 star review. Coco is my stylist and every single time I come in, she really does such a phenomenal job. I change the color/highlights of my hair way too often, but Coco is so informative and helpful when making a decision. The last time I came in I wanted to do a lot of red but was nervous about it because it was a color I had never done before. We still kept in some blonde because I wanted to keep some in (I was too nervous to take the full plunge!) but when we were finished everything turned out better than I imagined! I have gotten so many compliments since then. I noticed in other reviews on here, some Yelpers have mentioned this salon being overpriced, and while I do agree it may cost a little more than your average salon it is worth every penny. Their stylists even take classes to keep up-to-date on the newest and best products/services out there. All of the stylists including mine are all so nice and friendly, yet very professional. If you are looking for good service, friendly stylists, and a wide array of products/services available in the Draper area then you will definitely find them here! read more

I've been a client here off and on for several years. They are a great salon, edgy and modern. The owner, Chris and his wife are great. They really run a top notch salon. I've always had an welcoming experience with a great color (highlight) and cut. My blonde always turns out awesome, never brassy. I really want to be fair in rating this salon, but I cannot recommend coming here for color. If you have a low maintenance cut/style, this place is probably fine. If your needs are beyond that- I would look elsewhere. I'm giving 2 stars because the salon staff were kind a professional, and kept true to my appointment time. I was unable to make an appointment on the phone or speak to a person, but got an electronic response right away when using their website which I find rather annoying. I went for a root touch up. They do not apply the protective cream around your hairline and neck so it doesn't get on the skin surrounding your hair. Bad sign right there. The stylists applied it rather sloppily and not with the level or care of detail I would have preferred. The shampoo job was a joke. She barely shampooed my hair and I think I would have gotten a better scalp massage from a toddler. She didn't even shampoo my ends. I was concerned that it wasn't all rinsed out and should have asked her to go over it one more time. The "blowout" I received was also a joke. My roots were still damp at my crown when I left. When I woke up the next morning, there must have been hair dye that still remained as I suspected and it stained my pillowcase. Don't go to this place with high expectations. read more

I had put off getting my hair done for a work conference, and the day before I flew out I was frantic trying to find someone to do a cut/color - on a Sunday. Cory was my stylist, and she did a cut and balyage color. She made sure to communicate everything she was doing to my hair, as well as make sure that I knew what I wanted. Love my hair, and love Cory! Aside: Super glad that I didn't come when the salon was playing weird techno music- while I was in the chair, clients were talking about how much they hate it. read more

NEVER GO TO JAGGED EDGE! I have been here three times the last time I went will be the last time I step foot in the salon! I went in to get a melt and a trim! I already have dirty blonde hair so I wanted a bright blonde on the bottom and brown on the top well she but a little bit of brown and my blonde didn't change one bit.... Then the hair cut.. She took the thinning scissor just along my bottom so I have one long layer and all these short layers.. I wrote the owners about my experience and if I could get some money back or something so said she would give me 50% back on my cut... A cut there is 37 dollars so I would be getting 15-16 bucks back when I paid 158... Neither the owner or his wife wrote me back ! Horrible place!!! read more

If you don't go there regularly you get stuck with greenly stylists who are so incapable they cut you and themselves in the process. And don't think you will get good customer service: you will be blamed for your own bad haircut. Definitely not worth the price anymore read more

I have been meaning to write a review forever! I absolutely LOVE this salon! I wish I lived in Utah just for that reason. I was in town for the week and came in literally straight from the airport because I couldn't stand my hair anymore; it was a mess of colors and layers! Zoe fixed me right up and I still get compliments on my hair (5 months later)! She totally transformed my hair, she's amazing with coloring and my cut is perfect! I was the last client and they were having a salon photo shoot, and as a photographer, I knew they were pressed for time but no one ever seemed annoyed or made me feel like I was keeping them. She even took time to go over some things to make sure the color was just right! Again, Zoe did an amazing job and everyone there was very fun and hospitable. read more

This is now the third time I've been in to this jagged edge and each time I get a new hairdresser that is incapable of cutting hair. Expect to sit in a chair and having your hair played with instead of actually getting it cut. That's the last time I'll ever go back to this place. read more

I just moved to the SLC area a week ago yesterday. My brows were pretty bad when I left Indiana but now they're pretty horrific! Using Yelp, I tried to find a place near my office to get the brows done. European Wax or something came up. They were pretty 'hoity toity' and just couldn't fit me in on a Thursday for the brows only. I did a little more research and got right into Jagged Edge Salon. The girl on the phone was very sweet & professional. They got me right in. Jordyn did my brows. Talked with me the entire time, told me just before she did each step. She's very sweet, and kind. I have been going to Matt for several years along with my family for our hair cuts. We are always pleased with his coloring, cut and styling. He really listen (at first that made me nervous since his questions made me question him, but he wants to get it right). He has so many different clients from shaves to dreadlocks. He, like many stylist that doesn't charge an arm and a leg, is booked with clients in between your time coloring so you have to set aside extra time for the appointment. I would give Matt five star and the reason why I give the salon four is this: Once I never got a called back when I try to book an appointment on line and my friend had the same experience being hung up on. The stylists have to rest, sit and eat in front of you (a little unprofessional to me) and I wish they could dedicate the back entry to a small divided room just for that. read more

The haircuts I have received from Matt have been the best I have ever gotten. He does a great job of asking questions and understanding what I really want done with my hair. He has not only worked with me to make sure that it is cut the way I like it, but he has also shown me the way to style it and what products work the best. Went to Jagged Edge because of the great reviews. I got a hair cut and the Ombre. The hair cut was nice but I think she left the bleach in for to long and fried my hair. My hair breaks everytime I comb. I'm cutting my hair again to remove all the damaged hair but not with them. I don't want to pay a lot of $$ to have them "fix" it! read more

The place has terrible customer service. They are not very friendly. Even when I waited over thirty minutes for my scheduled appointment to begin. Then when I finally got in the chair the stlyist rushed because she had to leave by a certain time. Well, why then did you book my appointment. I did not get her 100 percent attention instead I recieved a BAD dye job. The had me come back to correct the poblem but it still looks bad!!! There is so comfortable sitting there while you are waiting for your appointment to begin. The receptionist is rude. I wont be going BACK! read more
