i had appointment at 11:30 am with someone and i called days before and talked to someone on the phone and they never put me down and i drove all the way there and had to come back home becuse they didn't put me down at 11:30 am and someone else took my spot not knowing that someone didn't put me down at 11:30 am days before i had to reschedule a new day to go which was very frustrating indeed. read more

Started going here over 25 years ago, Lena did my hair for my wedding and I have not found another salon that does as good of a job as this place. They have moved locations and so have I but I always make my way back. If you are looking to change your look or just need a little touching up this is the place to get it done. read more

Excellent service! This was my first time by 3 of my BFFs go here and see Meredith. Meredith is AMAZING! She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it and did a pink streak in my hair for October. The color is awesome and the placement is perfect! I will definitely be seeing her again. The salon itself is HUGE and very nice. They have full smocks that cover you so you can change out of your shirt and not get loose hairs all over your clothes. read more

At the beginning of summer, my former hairdresser (whom I've now divorced) left my blonde-highlighted hair looking more like a brassy nightmare. After searching high and low for a new hair girl, I was guided to Image Salon where I met the lovely, Sarah Rose. First of all, she had a two week appointment wait, so I knew she must be great. The end result is better than I could have imagined. Great cut, color, and conversation. I left feeling like we were B.F.F.'s from another lifetime. But back to the experience: the salon was large, yet unintimidating. No "Buckhead Betty's" chatting on their I-phones giving you the stink eye because you left your Louboutins at home. But nice, chatty patrons and staff. She's a keeper, for sure! read more

Chris is absolutely the best. He goes out of his way to make me happy. His cuts, colors and highlights are absolutely magical. I constantly get compliments on my hair. I have also recieived several Brazilian Blow Outs that make a lifestyle change. I can now dry my hair in 10 minutes as apposed to 60 minutes. This is the friendliest salon I have ever been to. Can't say enough good things. The price is very reasonable for the services you receive. read more

Whether you are new to the area or just looking to switch, Image Salon should be your choice. After so many of my friends recommended this, I came to Chris at Image Salon in 1999. Immediately, he fixed my hair color issues, and he had a plan for me to grow into a style that was perfect for me and my lifestyle. Now 16 years later, I'm as happy as I was after that first visit, and my entire family goes to either Daryl or Chris at Image Salon. The products they use are by far the finest quality available. Their pricing is very reasonable for such upscale service, yet everyone is so friendly and down-to-earth. This is a very fair, well-run business with excellent stylists. So take it from someone who has 16 years of excellent satisfaction... Once you come to Image Salon, you will never need to shop around for another stylist. read more

I have been going to Eve for years. She is the best hairdresser out there. I find that it is impossible for me to see anyone else. I sometimes ask her to do whatever she wants with little to no guidance because, no matter what, I look and feel great when I leave. The cut and color are perfect. She is also hilarious, talkative, and fun to be around. I never want to leave when my hair is done. I highly recommend Eve Prevatte. read more

WORST HAIRCUT EVER…read more Cindy cut my hair way too short. I asked for 2 inches, at most 2.5 inches off. I walked out with 4 inches off my length and I cried in my car after leaving. I wore my glasses today so I had to take them off during my haircut so I was unable to see but how did TWO INCHES turn to FOUR?!? My long hair that was close to my bottom is now up above mid back. I kept emphasizing I want to keep my hair LONG. Be firm on your boundaries and what you want. I usually get my haircut once a year and now this makes me never want to even cut my hair ever again. How hard is it to just listen to what the client want?! I haven't had hair this short since grade school. I've never felt so ugly and I hated that I had to pretend this was ok. Currently looking up hair extensions now. So disappointed.

I chose this salon as my place to get my first perm done. My stylist was Min. He and another female…read moreworker were nice and answered all of my questions well. I was just really curious on what happens. It wound up taking ~4 hours where I got my hair washed, cut, primed, bathed in solvent, and then curled with the little rollers. I definitely felt cared for, but 4 hours is def a long time. I brought a book and phone charger in case I was bored. The salon inside, however, is extremely cold. I think it was like 62 degrees inside, and I got my perm done in the summer when it was hot (and I still felt that it was freezing). There's a bunch of stylists inside and people who help prepare the clients. For a digital perm, it was ~$200, and if you pay with cash, you can avoid the 3% credit card fee. They also do a traditional booking system where you call them and you get written down for an appointment on a paper book. Overall, I loved how my hair turned out. It was very luscious and soft, but I wish when I made the appointment, maybe there could have been guidelines of what not to do leading up to the appointment, same with post hair care especially for new timers. I wound up using a notes app of how to care for it. I wish I had more curls in my hair, but now I know for next time and how to ask for it to be styled. Great experience generally! This place is located inside of a busy plaza with lots to do, so if you're ever waiting on someone here, you can go to Teso or get boba/food/coffee -- any type of idle shopping!

I've always tipped 20%...but I'm starting to rethink this, given how the service is so minimal. On my last 2 sessions, the stylist barely said "Hi" to me. The place itself is pretty cool looking (in a grungy kinda way?), but I feel that the place may not be clean as it should be. I could be wrong here, but I've seen dust on their surface and arty structures. Also, I really don't like how they blow dry and comb your hair with their fingers. Not just a little bit while blow drying...but all throughout! It just feels a bit gross. I mean, who knows how clean their fingers are! I also hate the way they wash your hair. They actually have a separate girl that wash your hair (instead of the stylists)...and this girl is just not good! She has zero strength in her fingers...and I hate the way she even touches your hair! Possibly THE worst hair washing experience (experiences) I've ever had in ANY salon. I can't believe someone that's actually hired for this job (hair washing) does such a poor job! Despite liking the location and pricing, service and overall quality is always an issue. A family emergency came up and I wanted to weigh my options, so I called to ask about their rescheduling/cancellation policy-- to no avail. I then resorted to texting to ask them and I typed out a clear and concise message that indicated that I was inquiring only and didn't intend on changing my appointment at that given time. The message read: Hii! I wanted to know that if I wanted to reschedule, would there be any penalty/issues? I don't know if I need to yet, just weighing my options. Alexis, the owner, told me there was no penalty and that I can reschedule online if need be. After speaking to the airlines to change my flight to extend my stay (for the emergency, my grandfather passed), I decided to try to simply reschedule my appointment for a later date. After having issues booking online, I decided to call back because the same thing happened with booking my initial appointment. And Alexis manually went into their system to change it, and thought that perhaps she could assist me again. Instead, she texted me an incredibly RUDE and insensitive text, following another that said that she cancelled my appointment although I never asked for her to do so. There was no apology, no customer recovery, nothing. Attached you will see the text messages, please read them. And please do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE RESPECTED AND HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, because you will not get it from them. I really wanted to support a Black owned business, but there are others in the city that deserve the money that you'd spend here. UPDATE: Per the business owner's response (Alexis), she has made it even more apparent that her overall inadequacy and inability to thoroughly read, be honest, and even manage her books properly is alarmingly unprofessional. In the response (below), she claims that they "went out of their way to accommodate me past business hours," which is a prime example of her fragrant dishonesty. I simply asked her for whatever time that was available for my booking. I never asked for a time. Alexis took it upon HERSELF to book me at 6pm and not 6:30pm, as she claims. Please see below for proof of my statements via Alexis and I's text message conversation. In addition, I did call at least 4 times to try to be considerate, so I wouldn't cancel my booking. As I mentioned in my initial review, I had just received news of my grandpa's passing and had to change my flight to attend the funeral. When I messaged her (see texts below), I apologized for the calls and notified her of my family emergency-- which she chooses to ignore-- and even settled to come in for the appointment still because I didn't want to throw off their schedule. With the passing of my grandpa, I simply wasn't thinking of if the business was closed or not, and just wanted to get in contact with someone who could possibly give me information on rescheduling, if I decided to. Also, since when is calling a business when they're "not open" an inconvenience? If their contact number was solely their business number, someone calling during the daytime closed or not, isn't bizarre-- logically. Simply put, this all stemmed from a very prideful, egotistical business owner that refuses to own up to her mistakes and apologize for cancelling my appointment, when I only contacted her to get information on their rescheduling/cancellation policy. I believe that she may have trouble properly reading. During our entire exchange via text message, I was so kind to her. Never gave a rude or snappy response. So I'm unsure why she deemed that I wasn't a "good fit for their business." I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau on this matter.

I moved from Alabama a couple of years back and have had a tough time finding anyone that compared to my hair person that I had. I went through a few and was underwhelmed to say the least. I met Kate as she was the hair stylist for a wedding I was in. After having her do my hair for the wedding I have continued to go to her for my cuts and color! She is talented, sweet and has become a great friend of mine even outside of the salon, so great full to have met her! I even joined her 3-Day Susan G Komen walk and it has definitely been an amazing experience. Imagine salon is full of not only talented hair artist but also full of great people who treat you like family as you walk through the doors! I have been a client at Image for a long time and LOVE them! I always feel like a member of the family when I am there. Sarah Nolan has been my stylist and is so amazing!
