They were completely booked (always a good sign) except one opening 5 minutes from my call (maybe my stylist missed their lunch time today?). I was 7 minutes away and they told me that would be okay. I was happily greeted by Corey who turned out to be my hair stylist. I had an idea of how I wanted my hair but Corey really put the finishing touches on my thoughts based on the shape of my face, etc. She took her time with my cut. I never felt rushed and we had a great conversation as we went along. I really loved the end result and would return to this salon in the future. A couple of unique touches of the salon is the use of vintage makeup vanities which I absolutely loved. It seems like it gives each stylist their own unique touch and takes away the sterile copy cat stylist environment of some salons. Great experience today and I recommend them. Another lady was there getting her hair colored and then styled as I was leaving. She looked quite amazing, as well. It was nice to see the stylists not required to wear masks, also.

My friend rented out space near this salon and recommended I try her. I called to set up an appointment, and then realized I had to change it because I had forgotten about other things on my plate that day. She was so warm and kind, and willing to accommodate my change in time and day. So far, so good. I've never have found this place not it not been for my friend's recommendation. I told her she needed to be on Yelp. Her salon is so charming! I had brought my daughter with me, and she had a small flatscreen with Netflix on it, so she could be occupied. She also had an Alexa, so my daughter could play songs. And with it being such a long appointment, she had snacks and water and soda for her clients. She's thought of everything! Meg was just as sweet in person as she was on the phone, and she really listened to what I was asking for, and delivered! I decided to get a balayage, which is good for those with dark roots wanting to go lighter. She used this stuff called Olaplex, which is a big deal in the hair market these days for protecting treated hair. It costs a little more, but so worth it! She spent a great deal of time with me, and I love that it's one on one, and no hustle and bustle between other clients, so you aren't forgotten. She got me to the color I have been wanting for so long. She, despite being brunette, is actually a blond specialist. She blew my hair dry and styled it, and she recommended a certain type of shampoo I should use at home to keep the color looking the way it was. All in all, very thorough, attention to detail, great colorist, and was very enjoyable to talk with. She fully welcomed my child being there, and kept her entertained as well. She is also incredibly reasonable, a definite plus! I highly recommend her. My only regret is not finding her sooner.

I decided to book a partial highlight service after a previous consultation I had with a stylist…read morethere. Initially, I thought everything was going well, but I noticed she was teasing the highlighted sections of my hair. She also told me she needed to overlap some areas on the ends of my hair, meaning she would be putting bleach over previously lightened hair. While I know that can sometimes be a technique, I also know it can increase the risk of breakage. I naturally have very knot-prone hair, so when it was time to rinse, my hair was an extremely tangled mess. She proceeded to brush through my hair to detangle it, but it felt more like my hair was being ripped through than gently combed. Halfway through, she decided it would be better if I sat in a chair instead. She then spent roughly 20 minutes brushing my already compromised, wet hair. After that, she applied a root smudge followed by a glaze, and once again my hair became completely tangled. The teasing was the source of the issue, and I was never asked if I was comfortable with that technique. As she continued brushing through the knots, I saw an alarming amount of my hair falling into my lap and onto the floor. She then blow-dried my hair, but the dryer was held so close that the heat felt excessive. She also cut my hair using thinning shears without asking me first. I came in with very thick hair and left feeling like I had lost nearly half of its density. I did like the tone of my color--or at least what was left of my hair--but in my opinion, it wasn't worth it. Trying to stay optimistic, I convinced myself everything was fine and scheduled a second appointment because I had an event coming up. I wish I hadn't. When I arrived, I waited nearly 20 minutes while she finished with clients before me. There was no acknowledgment that she was running behind or even a simple apology. At the start of the appointment, I politely told her that I didn't want my hair teased this time. I could tell she was offended. For the next two hours, she barely spoke to me except to tell me where to sit. Unlike my first appointment, she didn't ask if I wanted my hair styled, barely blow-dried it, and didn't take any photos. Considering the salon is very active on social media and almost every stylist posts photos of their clients, the difference in how I was treated felt hurtful. Overall, I left feeling disappointed--not only with the condition of my hair, but with the lack of communication and professionalism throughout the experience.

His haircuts are $28 for a wash and a haircut. Mine are $33 for a wash and a haircut, with no blow dry afterward, which is very reasonable. I've never gotten a blow dry or style afterward, but it's $20 more dollars. You have to call to make an appointment. Cathy is usually at the front desk and is very friendly. Haircuts, which include a wash/massage (using great-smelling Redken shampoo and conditioner) in addition to the haircut, are 30 minutes and they stick to a tight schedule. If you're running a couple minutes late, they appreciate a call to let them know. If it's more than a couple minutes, you might be pushed back or rescheduled altogether, which is understandable. I highly recommend Libby! She gives the most amazing massages. I trust Libby to just do her thing. She always knows how much hair to cut off to make it healthy again and she always makes it look good. Be sure to give them your address and your birthday because they send coupons for $2 off around your birthday and the new year! I recommend this salon to everyone! I have only had good experiences here.

My God I'm probably gonna have to get a cut again in two weeks just to fix what she did....absolutely horrible job!!!! The receptionist was very rude. First, she told me they close at 5, which did not address my request. Then she said my hairdresser was with a client--which I completely understand--but before I could say anything else, she hung up on me. What is most concerning is that this behavior is not new; it has happened more than once. Repeated interactions like this show a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. I was not expecting immediate availability, just basic courtesy and communication. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very negative impression.
