I have found a new salon! I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by the sweetest receptionist. They were very busy so my stylist was running about 5 minutes late. The receptionist offered me a bottled water and even offered to go next door to the coffee shop if I wanted something. My stylist came to get me and I told her what I was wanting; some color and something to brighten my face for spring. She listened and knew exactly where I was going. She got busy and created the most fabulous look for me. My new color is rich with gorgeous highlights. The two colors together are beautiful and bring out my skin tones so perfectly! During my appointment they made me feel important. While I was processing they made me comfortable and brought me magazines and my water. This really was the best salon experience I've ever had. The salon is very clean and inviting. From the moment you step in the door you feel very welcome and comfortable. I just moved to Cumming, Ga from Connecticut and have been searching for a good and honest salon. To say that I am picky about my hair color is an understatement. I read tons of reviews and picked Image Salon. The reviews didn't lie! Alyssa was pleasant, down to earth, honest and a heaven sent colorist. She did an amazing job!! Alyssa's coloring techniques were fun - a nicer way of getting highlights than the usual foils. My cut is fabulous! She also gave me some really useful styling tips. When I was done and I looked in the mirror I never felt so attractive in my life. When I walked out of the salon I could literally feel my hair bouncing. There is such a nurturing vibe to Image Salon. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the people are inspired. Not only do they do an amazing job, but you feel very much at ease while you're there. I love this salon! I have been to a few in town who claim to be upscale and knowledgeable and were awful. I went to Image Salon and saw Lee who repaired a horrible cut from another "salon". I don't know how she did it but without making it look any shorter, she made it beautiful!! I wanted to go back to her for highlights but could not get in with her because she was always full. I ended up with Alyssa who was simply amazing - I got the most gorgeous highlights I've ever had! Alyssa stays booked too so I learned to book before I leave. They are ALL good. While I'm there I've seen some beautiful work from the others who I haven't tried yet. So it probably doesn't matter who you get you'll be happy. I don't write reviews but in this case I am. I am so pleased and happy I found this place I want to pass it on. I am a customer for life! I would give them 10 stars but 5 is as high as this site goes. read more

I'd been looking for a salon in the area, and hadn't had much luck. In fact I'd had pretty bad luck other places. I found everyone here to be extremely polite and competent. Venus cut and highlighted my hair much faster than some other salons (it took a full hour longer somewhere else, because that other place was not efficient/organized). She did a great job. I found the experience non-stressful. She evened out the color of my patchy highlights which were about 3 different colors from other stylists at other places not knowing how to match the color. She was efficient, detail oriented and very technical in how she worked, so you can tell she has a lot of experience. I'm glad to have a salon I can trust in the area. I've tried most other salons within a half mile of this, and I had quite bad experiences other places (stressful or rude stylists, bad technique, etc.) read more

Alyssa Ellis is the most talented stylist I have EVER had do my hair. I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair so I don't choose a salon or stylist lightly. She cut my hair yesterday and it is absolutely, hands down, the best cut I have EVER had! I have long hair and I wanted some off the ends without taking much length. I also wanted some long layers. I told her what I wanted and she listened, did not need a long drawn out conversation, did not need a picture. She did it absolutely perfect!! She has done my color also, and I get compliments on it from total strangers. I get so many compliments that I took her cards and have begun passing them out to people when they compliment me. Yesterday, on a whim, I walked into to get a simple haircut at a place I'd never been before. It was a big mistake. So today I dropped into Image Salon to ask if the thought the cut was done wrong. They couldn't have been nicer. Firstly, they didn't disparage the previous "stylist's job on my hair. LJ simply said that she would wash it and see if it just needed styling. Well, it needed more than that because my hair looked like holy "you know what"! So LJ took her time and washed it, dried it, styled it and also cut it and she literally performed a miracle! I was stunned that she could make a decent cut out of that mess. I was flabbergasted when I looked in the mirror! They all are so nice and professional. I was so happy when I left! I had a massage with Lori Gray at this spa. She was wonderful! The salon staff was very friendly and helpful. Lori makes you feel very comfortable and is very personable. I like this spa because its small and very clean and very up to Board standards. Lori excels in her massage practice. She is board certified and has won Best of Forsyth in Massage the last 3 years straight. This is why I get all my massages here. I haven't had my hair done here yet but when I'm due for my color, I'm going to make my appointment here. The salon is very charming and clean and the girls are very friendly and nice. They do excellent colors judging from the ones I have seen when I've been here. You can trust me on this one, you will love this salon! read more

I've been going to Vickie for about 3 years. She has never disappointed me. She really knows how to cut hair. My hair is naturally curly and most stylists I've been to always cut it too short. My hair tends to "shrink" when it's wet so it would end up way too short. Vicki cuts it perfect. It looks the same way wet or dry. And she always does a super job with my highlights. I had a massage with Lori for the first time. I had been to a chiropractor who really did nothing for me. I was referred to Lori by my stylist so I made my first appointment. She was absolutely amazing! She got all the stiffness and pain out of my neck! I am so happy with this salon that I have referred all my family and friends. read more

Got my hair done here. My stylist did a beautiful job with my highlights. She also did a very cute cut. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She greeted me with a smile and got me in since I didn't have an appointment. It was around lunchtime and I missed lunch so while I was getting my hair done, one of the girls went next door and got me a sandwich. This is not a stuffy salo, they make you feel right at home and very comfortable. The salon is clean and very cute. I generally have a hard time choosing a salon but this one stands out above the rest. Ask for Alyssa, although I'm sure they're all good. I don't normally write reviews but I have to with this place. I walked in for my appointment. I had to wait a couple of minutes because the place was extremely busy. The receptionist greeted me with a smile and offered me a coffee or water. My stylist Rachael was very friendly and professional. She listened to what I said and did exactly what I wanted. My cut is beautiful and customized just for me. My color is amazing! It's so refreshing to have someone who actually listens to you. This salon needs to be on your to do list. This is the best salon I have ever been to. My stylist was right on top of things and really knew her stuff! She repaired a cut I received from another salon in town and gave me the most gorgeous highlights I've ever had. The salon is clean, friendly, fun and professional. The only problem I had was the wait. They were very busy and I was a walk in so I had to wait for about 30 minutes before someone was able to take me. But the results I got were well worth the wait! While I waited I was treated the same as a person with an appointment. I had coffee and a piece of cheesecake that I didn't expect. All in all, a number ONE salon all the way around! read more

I had a wonderful experience at this salon today. I walked in without an appointment and they were booked. One of the stylists actually came in on her day off to accommodate me! I had to wait for her to get here and it was well worth the wait. While waiting I had the opportunity to chat with the receptionist. She was so friendly and funny she made me feel so comfortable. Ive been going to this salon for about 3 years and I love them. The salon has a really nice atmosphere and everyone is so nice. They go above and beyond for their clients and they always make me feel special. Last week they gave us all moon pies because of the eclipse. Last summer they made us all homemade ice cream for the July 4th weekend. Its always a lot of fun going here. My hair color always turns out perfect. I haven't used the spa yet but I will at some point. The salon is upbeat, fun, clean and very reasonably priced. I had a fun time in Lakeland Plaza the other day. Stopped into this salon to see if I could get my color fixed from another salon. They did an outstanding job with what I thought would be impossible. The staff was friendly and professional at the same town. You don't get that intimidating feeling that you get at some places. It's a very warm and comfortable atmosphere, very clean and cute. Ive been going to this salon for years. I have NEVER had a bad experience. My hair color and cut are perfect every time. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Came into this salon to correct a horrible cut and color I received from another salon. The receptionist was extremely friendly, funny and helpful. My stylist was VERY VERY talented and friendly. She corrected my color to a beautiful blonde with lighter highlights and straightened my cut. The entire salon was friendly and helpful, clean and refreshing. I have found my new salon.
