They are very pushy and would not give me my money back until I tipped (not that I wasn't going to). I had booked this for my girlfriend and before I could even pay I was asked for a tip 3 times. When my girlfriend was done they strongly insisted that she tip too and put her in the position where she was uncomfortable. Would not recommend! read more

First off, I've NEVER had a massage of any sort in my life, apart from my GF helping out, so I had no idea what I was stepping into when I received a couple's massage for my birthday today! Emily and Kiki came in the room and Kiki went over to do a Swedish massage with hot stones for my girlfriend and I asked for the deep tissue massage, pointing out my lower lat as an area I wanted to work on. WOW that hurt soooo GOOD!! I'm pretty sure the rooms next door could hear my relief MAGIC HANDS Emily was very good about checking if the pressure was too much or not enough... I let her know, you can go as hard as you want! I was originally thinking a chiropractor would be needed to work on my sore muscles but....She seemed to magically find points that needed work and somehow "moved" the pain away! She did an AMAZING job of stretching my lower back area and I was so happy to find she really knew what she was doing. Being able to use the rails to stand on me really made a big difference. She seemed to know how all the nerves in my body connected, finding pain originating in one area and "taking" it away. This was much more than a great full massage ‍, I left feeling refreshed and ready to beat myself up again in the gym . read more

A very bad massage shop, not enough time, the massage process is not enjoyable but torture, the service is poor, the worst massage shop I have ever been to read more

The one hour foot massage was pure heaven! It was relaxing and peaceful and I'll definitely be back (maybe monthly )

This place was able to squeeze my partner and I same day for an hour couples massage. The massage therapists were fantastic- they asked us if we had any pressure preferences and what areas to focus on. My only complaint was the up-sell to a different lotion, which didn't seem to merit a $10 fee. They did NOT take no for an answer and to be honest, I did not enjoy my 'upgrade' because it made me feel cold during the session, hence my 4 vs 5 stars....other than that, I would return and invite others with me! read more

Very very professional massage service. Really like the prices and more importantly the last minute accommodations. read more

Absolutely AMAZING! Booked massages for me and 3 others. Very professional and one of the best massages we've all ever had. We've gone to a lot of places.. highly recommend read more

Thieves. I came in on the 22nd of February and paid 92 for a massage. Left a tip and it totaled 117. On the 23rd it cleared my account at the bank. On the 25th there was another transaction of 92 which also cleared. I called the location to see what happened and the man was adimate that I was wrong. It clearly states on the transaction history what happened. I have been coming here for years and always had great service. I refuse to get robbed for an additional 92 after already paying and leaving a generous tip. Don't come here if you don't want to be robbed. They recently raised their prices so it doesn't have a value to give them business anymore in my book. There are plenty of other places so go to. Sucks they lost a customer over bad business practices. I will be disputing all charges with bank read more

A#1 Massage - Proof of my transaction history - Reflexology Near Me - Cumming, Georgia

I came here for a couples massage and it was amazing. We got a full body massage and the setting was also romantic there were roses on the beds. My massage therapist asked me if everything was good and made sure I was comfortable. I feel so relaxed, and they gave us some water after our massages. We will be coming back! I recommend this to anyone who's trying to relax. They also used hot stones on our backs and that was the best part. read more

I did a couples massage with my husband here, the massage therapists were chatting the entire time, said I was "too skinny" and she was more focused on massaging my butt cheeks than my actual back which was extremely uncomfortable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

It was Tuesday night and my neck and back where bothering me so I looked up to see it there was a massage place close to my house that was open later at night and I found this one. Big mistake the gentleman who did my massage first thing I walked in and employees were on their phone and continued on there phone, no mask on. Put me in a room with a see through sheet. Luckily I laid face down the whole time. Still no mask on. the massage was awful just kept massaging in the same place for like 5 minutes, never asked what is hurting or needs attention. I sould not wait until it was over. Also I felt like a grease monkey after leaving they use so much oil. I will never go back I have a membership at LaVida Massage and they are the BEST!!!! I just could not get an appointment that night. read more

Today was my first visit to A#1 Massage, and it was not for pleasure (it was occasioned by an excruciating backache that had plagued me for two days and a sleepless night). My masseuse was nothing short of a miracle worker. She was able to use the edges and ends of the massage table to "get vertical" and leverage her full body weight into the areas of my back that needed some serious elbow grease (see their Chinese medical massage description). She also employed some hot stones mid-massage, which felt incredible on my aching back. I walked into the building not even able to stand up straight, and walked out an hour later totally mobile and feeling like a new person. Can't wait to return! read more

Hands down, the worst massage I've ever gotten. Not only did the massage therapist leave the room multiple times, they switched therapists about 15 mins after the session started. And then, the new therapists cell phone rang directly in my ear. I'm not hard to please when it comes to massages but this was exceptionally bad for me to leave this review. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Used to be great. Terrible and too proud now. Lost their good people and doubled price on foot massage. Last two "therapists" (if you can say that) were just going through the motions. I asked for more pressure. Got it for a second. Over priced for that service at $40 for 30 minutes. Won't go back and I used to go weekly. Too bad. read more

Excellent massage. Very professional. Listened very well, when I asked for more or less pressure. Also spent a lot of time on where I had the most pain. Even helped me to stretches to help with the pain in my lower back. Would recommend. read more

My wife and I have done the head to toe here a couple of times. It was decent. Today we went for the couples full body massage. It was basically just a rub down. My "masseuse" didn't massage me at all. I couldn't tell if it was her first day or if she just didn't want to be there. I left tired and agitated, not relaxed. The only reason I'm leaving two stars is because my wife found her massage to be satisfactory, however still not a full body primarily focusing on her back. It is what it is I suppose, you live and learn. We won't be back. read more

As a flight attendant I've received massages all over the world, this place by far was one of my favorites. That's right folks in Cumming Ga I received an amazing massage that beat out exotic places, beaches, tiki huts and romantic cities. I went in so achy and I left a new person. It's not a typical massage, every move they make is with purpose and it's just best to let them work their magic. I feel amazing. I will be back every month to get whatever sorcery she performed on me today. read more

Nothing great, but the price was fair. They now charge a surcharge if you use a credit card. Massage therapist was okay, but limited English. read more

I had a great massage here. Fei was very nice and proffessional. I would recommend a massage here anytime

I went there today for a full body massage today. And I had a great experience. The massage therapist was very nice and professional. My neck was always stiff and hurt from all the sitting at work, and the therapist definitely knew what she was doing and helped me relieve the pain. I would go there again. read more

We have been using A#1 Massage for a while; not anymore. Yesterday's experience was horrible. My husband and i went in for a couple's massage, the women we had were more interested in talking to themselves, in their native language; for all we knew they were talking about us. They were so rough, we are both so sore today that it feels like we lost a fight. What surprised me was they climbed on the table (including my husband's) and dug their elbows into our backs. Mine was rough that at times I could not breathe. They lost a repeat customer read more

One of the best massages I have ever had. The place could use a face lift and some love, but don't let the exterior fool you.

I was so looking forward to a good massage experience after reading reviews on yelp and a Facebook post however I unfortunately was not impressed. I did the 1 hour combo. The massage room was freezing- it felt like it was about 65 degrees in the room. The sheet to cover up with once you got undressed was the thinnest sheet I have seen and it was about the size of a crib sheet so that certainly didn't help me warm up. No space heater in the room, no heating pad on the bed. The girl that gave my massage was friendly however I don't believe she had much training on massage at all. You can tell when someone actually knows how to massage vs when they have been taught 3 moves and they repeat those over and over for the allotted time. I honestly don't think she could differentiate spots on my back and shoulders that were tight or had knots bc she went right over them and paid no special attention to them at all. She also had me put my arms hanging over the side of the table and left them there for around 20 minutes making my arms go numb. Again, anyone trained would know to not leave them like that more than necessary. The foot massage was also lacking. I don't feel like she had any clue how to do a foot massage. I have been to many asian massage places and so I am very familiar with the expectations and experience. I won't be going back to this one. read more

I have tried almost every massage place in the Cumming area. I was a member of massage envy for over three years. I left ME (because I was very unhappy there) and tried A#1. I have massages every 3 weeks. I have been using A1 for 2 years. They are Tai influenced massages. My favorite. I use Annie most of the time. I have been getting massages regularly my adult life. They do get on the table (100% normal in Tai), and use elbow & knee pressure. If anything is not comfortable for me(I am a senior), I let them know & they immediately accommodate me. Communication is key. They have been very nice. I have had A+++++ massages there every time. I get 90 minutes. I always feel like new when I leave. My husband has started going because of how much this has been improving my daily wellness. He likes the foot, head & neck package they offer. I can't wait, our next appointment is tomorrow. YAY! read more

I have received several great chair massages from this establishment. After being given a lot of grief using a card to pay after my first visit, I made sure to pull cash on subsequent visits. At my last visit, I had the $40 cash for my service and asked for change out of another twenty. The woman who gave me a massage said she only had tens. I didn't think that the service was worth more than a 20% tip, and she is not a waitress working for $2/hr. So I took the change and was prepared to get proper change elsewhere and tip her on my way back though town. As I put the cash in my wallet, the woman looked at me and said, "You didn't tip me." I explained that I didn't intend to tip her over 20%. She rudely insisted on her $10 tip. I gave it to her and left. I will never go back to that establishment. read more

DO NOT GO THERE. I Repeat, DO NOT GO THERE. They will trick you into paying more. There will be several add-ons and by the time you are finished you will have paid what you would pay at an upscale Spa. They are greedy. They will basically demand you to give tips even though I was literally getting the tip out of my wallet. and that is not the employee, that is the owner. Worst experience ever. read more

I got to se Kayla, she was amazing. Hands down one of the best massages I have ever had. Nice clean place, good atmosphere.
